Victoria pov ..

When he asked me to stay back ,I was scared ,I tried my best not to make any mistakes ,that will cause me my life .But the universe was against me .

When she gripped my neck and tried to kill me ,I struggled so hard until lord Xander came to my rescue ,I fell to the ground and started coughing violently .

Finally she let go of me and left the mansion , Elena quickly rushed into the dinning room to meet me .

" Oh my God are you okay Victoria ,I hope you didn't do anything wrong "

" I didn't ,I guess she mistook me for someone else "

" You have to careful ,she treats us humans like trash "

" Really ( cough) .."

" Yes , When lord Xander brother bought a slave home ,we found the little boy dead ,when investigation was carried out ,they found out that it was Lady Akasha that feed on him "

" What ...My heart beat increased ,I felt like dying "

" Yes Victoria ,I pray she doesn't come back for you , because that woman is nothing but a bitch "

I quickly got up from the floor and ran out if the room .

Later that evening ,sir Sebastian came into the kitchen and informed me that lord Xander wants to have a word with me ,I quickly removed my apron and followed him . when we arrived he asked me to go in so I knocked on the door before going into the study room

I stepped into the room but the first thing that caught my attention was the handsome man sitting on a king sized chair he was busy reading something ,but his face was something that no woman will want to forget for a very long time ,I couldn't stop gushing over him ,he was so handsome ,his hair was packed backwards ,his face was smooth ,and shiny I kept staring at him ,then my mind travelled back to the tales my mother usually told us she said vampires were ugly creatures ,and that they were monsters but with what I was seeing in Front of me right now ,I don't think my late mother knew what she talked about ,This man in front of me was damn handsome .

When he noticed me staring ,he raised his head up to look at me .

' Sit down "

I quickly located the nearest couch and sat down ,but I couldn't bring my self to look at him , because I was scared maybe he will caught me staring at him and suck my blood "

" Wait Victoria why are thinking rubbish "

Suddenly I felt his presence close to me ,I quickly sat up , but his next question left me shocked .

" Tell me everything about yourself and your family "

My mind started running wild ,wait why does he want to know about me ,I mean ,why does he want to know about my family ,No I can't be a fool "

I remembered what his fiance said at the dinning hall ,How he slept with different maids ,my mind became messed up .

" Wait a minute is he trying to do the same thing to me "

I was still trying to gather my thoughts together when suddenly he whispered into my ears .

" Don't to be scared I wont bite "

I stood up from the couch and straighten my back .

' My lord ,am sorry if I disrespected you but I can't say anything about my family ,if you have nothing to say to me I will take my leave now .

I reached for the door but was shocked when I saw him standing in front of me .

" So much guts "

A weird smile appeared on his face I took a step backwards but he took two steps forward .

" I think you have forgotten that you are a slave Victoria ,and I ask the questions you give me an answer "

" I don't have anything else to say "

He closed his eyes and inhale the air in the room when he opened his fang became visible .

" What ....what...what are you trying to do "

" Are you scared "

" Please don't kill me ,am the only child of my parents please don't kill me "

" Am not killing you Victoria ,I only want to feed from you "

" What ...I screamed on top of my lungs "

" Why are screaming ,maids in this mansion will gladly give themselves to Me".

" Well am not those maids ,and besides if you want to feed for someone , please pick someone else and not mentally stable for it "

' I see you have a sharp tongue "

" It's called self respect my lord ,am not like those cheap , stupid , dirty ,maids who are desperate to ..to .do anything crazy with you "

" My lord if you will excuse me I have work to attend to thank you "

I was about to leave when suddenly I felt a stronger wind blew pass me when I looked at the door I saw him standing there staring at me ,but there was something strange About him ,his eyes was no longer red it had this gold color his voice changed .

" How dare you walk out on me "his voice was becoming scary

" Am sorry my lord ,please ... for..give me "

Suddenly he fell to the ground and screamed out in pain .

" Leave Victoria , Leave here now "

" Without thinking twice ,I rushed out of the room and on my way I bumped into Sebastian and explain everything that happened ,he quickly rushed into a lord Xander's room and came back with a portion,I wanted to go back there with him but he asked me to go back to work and pretend this never happened .

I got down from the stairs and was walked through the hallway when suddenly three girls walked up to Me.

" Well ..well look who we have here "

" Hi "

I tried to walk pass them but one of them pulled me back by my collar .

" Where do you think you are going to bitch "

" Back to work bitch "

The reply I gave them left them speechless ,The one in the middle decided to speak up .

" I think you have a big mouth '

" I don't girl, But you can't talk to me like trash and expect me not to clap back at you "

" I see this bitch have a high spirit "

' I see you are too jobless not to mind your fucking business "

Suddenly we heard lady Madison's voice from behind .

" Girls come with me "

The four of us quickly followed her to her chambers without saying a word .

" I see you girls are less busy that you have time to argue with each order "

I tried to speak .

" My lady they started ..."

" I didn't ask for your opinion new girl ,barely twenty four hours ,you have started causing problems ,I prayed you survive before this week comes to an end ,get out all you now ,and starting from tomorrow morning the four of you will be working in the garden Twenty four hours of the day .

" What !!I yelled on top of my voice,which caught lady Madison's attention "

"Do you have a problem with that ,or should I assign you to work for lady Akasha "

" No...no..my lady am okay with it "

" Good get out all of you now !!"

" We quickly rushed out of her chambers , suddenly my stomach grumbled that was when I realised I haven't eaten anything for the whole day .
