‘I met OUR mate.’ This sentence kept running through Theodore’s mind wondering what Tiara meant to say by mentioning this sentence to Liara. He wanted to hear her voice, and when she called her but all he could get a chance to hear was Tiara’s voice because, during the whole conversation, she was the only one who spoke.
‘Is that possible that both sisters could be our mates?’ Theodore questioned Inigo.
‘Maybe. I haven’t stayed my whole life between wolves. What’s your knowledge on the basis of the books that you have read?’ Inigo replied.
‘That the lady pair a couple of her pups with two or three and sometimes four mates.’ Theodore replied. When he had read this, he really wondered how anyone could handle so many mates. Seemed like Moon Goddess got offended by his remark and gave him two mates.
Now, he really wanted to go and ask Tiara about the conversation that she did with her sister, but then she might question him about how did he hear that when she talked about it outside the room and the room was sound-proof, etc., etc.!!
He looked around the room he was in and found Tiara’s pictures in all the corners of the walls. In each picture, she had a different color of hair along with different styles until his eyes landed on a picture of her young age when she didn’t have to dye her hair, and it was of red color.
He left the bed and went near that picture. A small appeared on his lips when he carefully watched that picture. She was laughing wholeheartedly while riding a bicycle.
“Good Morning!!!” An excited and melodious voice greeted Theodore, and he watched Tiara walking inside the room with a tray full of breakfast, wearing a boyfriend t-shirt. Tiara smiled at him and started at his chiseled body, which made her groan. She couldn’t believe that just by watching her mate naked, she was aroused again.
How could someone be carved so perfectly? Tight butt cheeks, defined calves, and a body for drooling.
“Good Morning, Mate,” Inigo replied, making her frown.
‘His human still doesn’t want to talk with me.’
“Is Theodore not interested in me? I mean he….” Tiara didn’t complete the sentence because sometimes silence was enough to convey the message.
“It’s not like that,” Inigo replied and sighed before telling her the truth. He helped her by taking the tray from her after reaching near her and placing it on the bed. Then, he made her sit on the bed, holding her shoulder, “You’re our mate. So, I won’t lie to you, but the truth is my other part is upset and wasn’t expecting you as a mate.”
The expression on Tiara’s face immediately changed, but she remained calm to listen to what was coming next. “He is in love with someone else,” Inigo spoke. He directly didn’t say the name of Liara. He had to confirm first that Liara was also his mate, OR things would get complicated between sisters.
“So, he needs time,” Inigo added calmly.
‘That explains his emotionless reaction in the beginning.’ Tiara said to her wolf. She couldn’t help but wonder how beautiful the lady would be whom Theodore fell in love with. She knew that love had nothing to do with beauty, but even on today’s date, everything wanted a beautiful and desiring woman.
“He wants time so that he can move on and accept me as his mate?” Tiara asked hopefully.
Theodore thought to reply to her question on his own. Watching her asking question with so much hope reminded him of Liara. He couldn’t forgive himself for the pain that he had caused. He didn’t want to repeat history again.
“You’re my mate, Tiara. I wouldn’t be here if I wouldn’t accept you.” Theodore replied, to which Dora purred in happiness. “Inigo can’t control me for that long. So, yes, if I’m here, then I’m not planning to reject you, but I need time,” he added.
“You don’t want to reject me. This news alone is enough for me. I’m sure you will forget her soon and fall in love with me; after all, I’m not that hard to fall in love with.” Tiara said happily, to cheer herself.
“I WILL NEVER FORGET HER.” Theodore quickly corrected her, stressing over his every word. “She was an important part of my life, and she will always be.”
