Chapter 75: Chapter 75
“I don’t think I need to explain anything to you because you mutts are nothing but a loyal puppies to your mate. If she also cries in fake pain, then you will come running to her.” Ozul mocked Inigo. “Beast, take control over your mutt before I end up punishing you for his stupidity,” he ordered and waited a minute for Theodore to take control over his Lycan, but that happened while Inigo, too, kept looking at him with a boring look to show him that at that moment, he was the boss, not his pet whom Ozul had raised from childhood.
“Punish me then!! All these while I have read a lot of books, and if we really share even one percent of the same blood, then your power won’t work on me.” Inigo challenged. “Prove me that what my mate is saying is just her theory, not the truth,” Inigo said, pushing Liara away from his arm. He now had to deal with that vampire on his own. He recalled years of torture because of the consumption of wolfsbane from his other half had done on him for being someone that might be their mother.
“I have punished you multiple times.” Ozul pointed out.
“And that was before my arrival, Elder Ozul,” Inigo said and started walking toward him. “I have recently read a story about the elephant and the rope. “When Elephants are very young and much smaller, the owner uses the small size rope to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away. They believe the rope can still hold them, so they never try to break free.”
“So, just because you have punished me multiple times doesn’t prove that you can still do it,” Inigo said, almost reaching near him. “I said, PUNISH ME.” He growled in anger, but no words came out of Ozul’s mouth because he was busy mind-linking his vampires.
The moment he heard his beast giving an example of an elephant. He realized that his beast was no less than a mad elephant now who would destroy anything and everything that would come his way.
“Your wish is my command.” Ozul spoke before speaking, “Pain.”
“AAaaaaaaa…” Liara screamed in pain.
“Youuu,” Inigo growled and grabbed his neck, ready to rip it apart from his body when he heard.
“Leave our master, or she is dead.” Inigo turned around and found Brad holding a silver dagger against Liara’s neck. Inigo still had his claws against Ozul and didn’t look in the mood to leave that bastard. “Fine!! You don’t want to leave our Master?” Brad asked and slightly cut Liara’s throat, on which she whimpered in pain.
“Hmm,” Brad licked his tongue before saying, “Her blood seems tasty.” He was about to bite her when Inigo let Ozul go.
“I will let him go only when you will leave her.” Inigo kept a condition while his heart pounded loudly against his ribcage. He bet everyone could hear heartbeats and his fear.
“Do you think that you are in a position to bargain?” Brad questioned and leaned his head toward Liara’s neck and licked the blood that had oozed out of her cut, which was now healed. “Hmm, Tasty. I should drink a little more blood of her,” he muttered, and he opened his mouth to sink his fangs into Liara’s neck.
“I let him go.” He said quickly. He knew this was his stupid move, but he couldn’t see her mate in pain. Also, he knew that the antidote of vampire poison wasn’t made in the werewolf world, so in case if Brad would bite her, then his venom would start killing her from inside every day for months till her death.
“Tsk.. tsk… tsk!! I like how you mutts are head over heels in love for your mates.” Brad said, chuckling. “You were screaming at Master to punish you, hmm? Fine then, we will punish you and the moment you will try to stop our attack, we will punish your mate.”
“Nooooo!!” Liara started, wiggling in Brad’s grip. “No!!! You don’t have to do this.” She cried thinking about the situation while Inigo silently asked her to calm down without saying a word to her. He didn’t mind if someone would hit him or cause him pain, but he couldn’t see her in pain.
The vampires that Ozul had called for help grabbed him by the neck and hit his jawline as hard as they could.
“Noooooo!!!” Liara screamed as if it was her who was punched in her face. Inigo was handled worse than this because that was how Theodore had trained himself, but for the first time, this was difficult for him because he had to keep hearing Liara’s scream along with the punches and the kicks. None of the pain compared to what he was feeling after hearing her scream and terrified cries.
“STTOOPPP!!!”
“PLEASE STOP HURTING MY MATE.”
