Chapter 59: Chapter 59

Theodore tried to slam both pieces of the branch at Colton's head. At the same time, he was quick to lean down, protecting his head.

Theodore had already learned that his speed was one of his strengths, so the moment Colton leaned down, he quickly attacked Colton, hitting him with the branch. When Colton was still in the air when Theodore hit him hard with the branch of the tree, Theodore ran toward him, grabbed his hand in which he was holding the sword, and broke it, making the sword fall to the ground.

He was surprised that how Colton didn't cry in pain even when he broke his hand, but he didn't show this to his enemy. He threw Colton away to play with him for a while before ending him. Little did he know that another surprise or shock was waiting for him when Colton rotated his hand as if nothing had happened to his hand.

'What the fuck! I swear I hear the bone-breaking sound.' Theodore thought in confusion and watched Colton running toward him at full speed to hit him. He stayed there to see Colton's strength and trust him; he saw a couple of stars when his fist touched his jawline. Colton started, hitting him like a punching bag, not giving him a chance to defend or attack him.

He grabbed Theodore's arms and broke his anger and was equally surprised when Theodore didn't even hiss at the pain.

'Damn! He is indeed a strong competitor.' Colton thought and wrapped arms around Theodore's neck to pull it out of his body while Theodore started trying to remove his grip from his neck.

"Ahhh," Colton groaned when he realized that he was failing.

'That was it.' Theodore escaped from his grip and started trashing him like shit, beating him black and blue, throwing him from here to there. Not giving Colton a chance to attack him back. After a while, Theodore started trying to break Colton's neck.

He would have killed Colton for sure if his sword wouldn't have attacked Theodore's hand.

"Ah!!" Theodore hissed when the silver sword left a deep cut on his hand. He ended up leaving Colton when that sword was going to attack again. Colton fell down on the ground and started gasping for breath. But in the next second, Theodore picked Colton up in his hand and threw him as far as he could before Colton's sword would have attacked Theodore again.

Theodore watched the sword flying toward his master, and finding this as his chance, he quickly ran from there, and this time no one was following him.

'Who the hell is that hunter?' He couldn't help but wonder and looked at his injury, which was not healing at all. His jaw clenched when he realized that only his wolf could heal silver injury just like any other normal injury. And also, now that his scent wasn't a mask, he needed to keep his mutt at the surface and act like a werewolf rather than a vampire. He unblocked Inigo from his mind, and the moment he arrived, Theodore's injury got healed, leaving a new scar on his hand. He turned around and found that he had blood drops on the path as a single in which he was running. So, he turned his direction and started running randomly in all directions to misguide whoever who try to follow him.

And Theodore was right; after ten minutes, Colton reached the place where his sword could sense that vampire's body, but after that, he had no idea where he should go.

He crouched and collected Theodore's blood sample because while he was fighting with him, he had touched his naked hand, which was warm, which indicated to him that Theodore wasn't just a vampire; he was more than that.

'I will find out what you are along with a way to deal with you, Creature! Because the hunt has just begun.' He thought and slipped the blood sample into his pocket and turned his heels toward the pack to find out other things related to all this incident.

After an hour!!

Theodore reached the pack and found all the guards back o their position, which they weren't before. But the color of his face paled when he picked up aa familiar a familiar scent.

'Alaric' He quickly ran toward the entrance to enter the pack to see how he was able to sense when Alaric had the power to mask the scent.

The guards let him in, knowing him as a janitor of the pack, and after taking a couple of steps, he saw Alaric bleeding badly, and his hands and legs were tired with silver chains, lying in the middle of the pack. Fear rose in his heart when he looked into the sky because the sun was already in the sky, and soon it would reach near where Alaric was.
