While everyone was busy with the wedding, Eleazer was getting bored. He asked Brandon to put him down so that he would explore the food and drinks.

"Don’t go anywhere alone and stay around," Brandon said, before putting him in the car. Eleazer nodded his head, but deep down, he knew that he would do just the opposite to have fun. He roamed here and there like a boss, scaring everyone with his vampire aura. He enjoyed watching Omega’s scared faces.

He went towards somewhere dark and shifted into a little bat to sneak out.

‘Where, brother?’ Griffin’s voice rang in his mind.

‘Just a little tour. Enjoy the boring wedding by staying in Grandma’s arms.' He responded and started flying higher and higher with the help of his wings. Soon, he sneaked out without getting noticed. He wanted to reach the clouds in the sky, but soon he got tired, and the next moment, he knew he fell on the ground with a thud.

He shifted back and hissed in pain. He looked around and found himself just a little way from the black council. He felt that he needed a lot of practice to finally reach the top.

"Hello, Master." He heard them and turned around to find three adult vampires.

"I knew we would get in touch very soon." Magnus spoke, and Eleazer looked at him without any expression, wondering why he was calling him ‘Master. "I know you can’t recognize me, Louis, or Spike." The vampires behind Magnus bowed their heads in front of Eleazer.

"But please hear me out! The lady whom you’re considering as your mother is the one who...

"Human," Louis said, stopping Magnus from telling Eleazer about his past life and reminding him of who he was before taking him with them because they just couldn’t kidnap Eleazer.

As they weren’t sure how strong Eleazer was, the last thing any of them wanted was to get killed by her.

Eleazer recognized that human scent as well.

Raven.

Since her witch’s powers were locked up until she turned twelve, she was going to smell like a human. Louis ran towards her, and Eleazer ran behind him to stop him. Spike wanted to run behind them when Magnus stopped him because he already knew what was going to happen in the next few seconds.

They watched Eleazer hit the ground and jump in the air, only to land on Louis’s shoulder. In the next moment, Eleazer ripped Louis’s head from his body and threw it away before he would have reached anywhere near Raven.

"Magnus, he…"

"Let’s leave," Magnus ordered when he sensed Cassius. They knew Cassius wouldn’t attack them first because the land where they were standing belonged to no one and neither of them had committed any crimes.

Cassius was silently watching everything. He was surprised that Eleazer sneaked out, and no one realized, including him. He didn't feel anyone crossing the shield that until Raven did the same, running here and there while playing with her siblings.

When he was out in search of Raven, whom he found in no time, that was when he caught Eleazer’s scent.

He witnessed how Eleazer ran to save Raven and even killed a vampire’s friend for it. He wasn’t sure, but he felt that maybe... maybe Eleazer wasn’t completely Lestat.

Cassius reached near him and used his magic to clean his clothes, which were covered in blood.

"I didn’t ask for help." Eleazer hissed.

"But you looked worried that watching you like this, your mother’s big day will be ruined." Cassius pointed this out.

"Fffttt… Me? Worried? Nah." Eleazer said, sighing in relief that now he looked clean.

"Your mother was looking for you for the family pictures," Cassius informed him, not arguing with a kid to prove his point.

"Oh no!!" He watched Eleazer run towards the entrance in the next second. He chuckled at how Eleazer's butt was on fire knowing that his mother was looking for him.

It looked like every kid was scared of their mother's wrath.
