As time passed, Eleazer didn’t miss noticing how Liara was great with Griffin and all the other pups in the pack except him. His father was always there for him, but not his mother. It wasn’t that she didn’t care for him or was rude toward him, but he didn’t feel her showing affection to him just like she did toward Griffin.

"Eleazer, time to get ready," Theodore's voice diverted his attention, and he removed his gaze from Griffin to Theodore. He was told that his parents were getting married again; that was why he was sitting in Theodore’s bedroom because it was Theodore’s duty to get both boys ready. Liara was on break from mother duty for two days, enjoying her bachelor party and time with her family members.

While Griffin was four months old now, Eleazer looked like a pup of around three to four years.

"You okay?" Theodore asked, cupping his face.

"Did I do something wrong, dad?"

Theodore chuckled at his question, "from the last two days? Nope. Nothing, but whenever Lia is around, you don’t do a single thing right and always do something to get into her nerve."

"Well, that’s a way to get her attention," Eleazer responded, shrugging his shoulders. "I tried to behave well, but that didn’t work, so I tortured Griff to get her reaction."

Theodore shook his head. He wanted to tell Eleazer that what he was doing wasn’t right, but he also knew that he wouldn’t listen. He had now made it a habit to disobey everyone.

"Do you enjoy it? Hitting others?" Theodore asked, trying to remove the t-shirt that he was wearing to change his clothes. "Do you like when Griffin cries in pain?"

"We brothers have a secret." Right, Griff?"

"Aayaaa…" Griffin blabbered, throwing his legs and hands in the air, then rolled 180 degrees on the bed and lifted his head, looking at Theodore and Eleazer.

"That fucker is strong," Eleazer said.

"Wait! Where did you learn that word? That is something that only good people say. And you aren't a good boy, right?"

Eleazer smirked before responding, "I know the truth, daddy. And this is a new way to tease mom."

"She will be upset to hear that."

"When is she not upset? That’s why I asked you, Did I do something wrong because of which she behaved like this?"

"If you will behave until you’re ten years old. Then I will tell you the truth. And don’t try to over-smart me because no one knows the truth except me and your mother."

"Cool. I’m already 4, I guess."

"You’re just three and a half months old, two weeks younger than Griffin." Theodore corrected, to which Eleazer groaned and Griffin showed his toothless grin. Eleazer glared at Griffin, and his grin widened.

‘I wish I could break your teeth, but unfortunately, you don’t have one.' He mind-linked Griffin.

‘Can't you digest the truth that I’m two weeks older, little brother?' Griffin mocked him and clapped his hands in excitement.

'When I will kick your ass again, you will realize who is the boss here.' Eleanor responded and his eyes blazed red.

'I will do the same after I turn eighteen.' Griffin's eyes blazed blue. Theodore felt Eleazer and Griffin's aura. He lifted his head and saw Eleazer standing as if nothing happened and then he turned around to see him blabbering and rolling on the bed.

He felt that something happening between them that he couldn't understand.
