Theodore didn’t want to waste time and informed Cassius about the location of Liara. He had Liara’s gate stone ring, but because Liara had commanded it to listen to him for a night, it was of no use to him. It used to listen to him always before whenever it used to be in Liara’s fingers.

Without the ring on her fingers, it was useless to him.

"How did you know he was here?" Cassius asked in shock when he really caught Lestat’s smell from the coven, which Colton had mentioned.

"Let’s go and get my sister first," Caroline said before Theodore could have replied, and before they would have moved even an inch, the whole mansion of the vampires started shaking as if an earthquake really hit hard only at that mansion.

"Run!!!" Theodore shouted, and everyone ran away from the mansion, only to see it explode like a bomb in the next few seconds. His heart stopped beating inside his chest when he looked at that scene in front of his eyes.

At first, he was scared for Liara. After that, he was in awe looking at the lady in the sky, who was glowing like a moon while her hands were covered with blood. Her hair had turned fully white now, and her eyes were blue.

He had a hard time keeping his eye open and staring at her because of the light oozing out of her body.

"Lia!!" He whispered, observing her. Not just her appearance had changed, but even her smell had changed back to hers. He could sense the vampire’s blood inside her vein. He watched her reach him slowly while she was still flying.

‘Not just that bastard changed her but also claimed her.' Inigo growled in his mind when he sensed the smell of sex from her body. All of a sudden, Liara stopped. An expression of pain and guilt came across her face.

"Lia…" Theodore’s heart thudded when he realized that she read his thoughts. In the next second, she flew away from him.

Fuck!!

‘What was the need of opening your mouth?' Theodore scolded his Lycan, chasing Liara, who was running away from him now.

‘I didn’t mean to say it that way.' Inigo responded with a guilty tone.

"Liara…. Liara!!" Theodore shouted when he lost her because she was faster than any creature that he had seen. "I’m sorry on behalf of my mutt. But can we talk? Please don’t run away from me." He shouted, running his hand through his hair. "Liarrraaa…"

A smile appeared on his lips when he sensed her behind him, but the moment he turned around, he was slammed against the tree with full force. He was positive that she broke his bones, but they would heal. Liara was looking at him hungrily, and her eyes were blazing red.

"Li…"

He hissed in pain when she sank her fangs into his shoulder to drink his blood.

"Fuck!!" He moaned, wrapping his hand around her waist. That was when something clicked in his mind. Selene was the goddess of both werewolves and vampires. The only reason Liara wasn’t able to use her full power before was that she was missing another part of Selene.

He swore not to bring this topic into his life ever, and he would not let her feel guilty about it.
