Chapter 297: Chapter 297
"Of course I am," Sophia responded with a smile, and Theodore looked at her face. He could see wrinkles on her face and hand that she didn’t have earlier, at least not to this extent.
"I'm sorry for that night," Theodore apologized to Brandon, recalling how he had punched him during their previous meeting.
"Don’t say sorry when you’re not at all sorry," Brandon spoke.
"What’s going on? Am I missing something? Sophia asked, looking at both of them.
"Not a big deal, mon amour. It’s OUR secret." Brandon said, knowing that she would get upset with Theodore for raising his hand to him.
"Umm.. here!! Grab the seat." Theodore wondered what he had hidden from his wife, but it was the least of his concerns. He wanted to ask why they were there. But then he shook his head, going against that decision because that might sound rude. "Do you need something? Water, a cold drink, tea, and coffee."
"I had no idea you started working as a waiter taking orders."Brandon mocked him, but deep down, he didn’t miss noticing the change in him.
"That question was for my mom, who considers me a son. I don’t remember asking anything from you." Theodore responded. "By the way, who are you in the werewolf’s world? Are you someone important, huh?"
Brandon gritted his teeth and wanted to hit him for insulting him. "Well, I’m Doctor Liara’s father. And that’s enough for someone to know who I am." Brandon snapped at him.
A small smile appeared on Theodore’s lips when he heard that he stepped aside; that was when Brandon observed that the door of the washroom was open and Liara was standing there. She was wearing black leggings matched with a loose-fitting yellow wrap top, because of which her baby bump was hidden.
"I will get something for you all," Theodore said, giving his mate the privacy that she needed to sort things out. Though he didn’t trust her with Brandon, the fact that Sophia was also there made him sure that she would be fine.
Sophia was the first to leave her chair and rush toward Liara to hug her tightly.
"Be careful not to jump on her in excitement," Brandon said in a concerned tone. After all, he had a habit of carrying her every time she jumped on him. Sophia hugged Liara tightly.
"Be careful, you will crush her and her pup." Sophia couldn’t help but glare at him after breaking the hug. She was just a human; there was no way she could crush a werewolf because of the hug.
"Why don’t you teach me how to hug her?" Sophia asked. "Come on!! I’m waiting to see how to hug our pregnant daughter." She added with a genuine smile on her face. Brandon knew what she was doing. He looked between her and Liara, who was holding him. Her eyes were moist, and she looked scared—scared of getting rejected again.
She was scared that Brandon was here because of Sophia, not because he wanted to. And Brandon knew it; he knew the way his daughter thinks.
He left the chair and walked toward her. He recalled the moment when he had held her for the first time.

‘Hello to you, my youngest pup!' He had whispered in her ear when she was looking at him curiously.
‘Finally, the Moon Goddess blessed me with a pup with all your features." He had told Sophia, who was feeding Tiara.
