Chapter 287: Chapter 287

"I don’t want to eat anything," Liara whined and walked here and there around the couch in the hall while Theodore followed her with a plate in his hand.

"Just a little, Liara. You need to eat something; you vomited everything that you ate in the morning." Theodore said, recalling how all the fruits that she ate went into the toilet instead of staying in her stomach.

"Please!! "I'm requesting you."

"I’m doing the same." "Come here, love."

Liara shook her head and hid behind Calvin, teasing Theodore.

"Give this plate to me. I will make sure that she will finish everything." Calvin offered his help, to which Theodore agreed, gave him a plate, and left there.

"Come here!!" Calvin said, holding her arms to make her sit on the couch.

"I don’t want to eat."

"All right, just seven spoons," Calvin said, already calculating how he could make her eat all the oats. He had a habit of handling his princess, so he knew how to make her eat the whole meal. "I promise, just seven spoons."

"Okay! Seven spoons." Liara agreed.

"So, you’re happy with him?" He questioned, to which she nodded her head. "But he didn’t want you in the beginning as much as he was interested in Tee." He pointed it out.

"Sometimes things are not exactly what they look like," Liara said before adding. "Sometimes our own eyes and ears can deceive us."

"Ahh!! Maybe you’re right. And how’re you adjusting yourself in this... hellhole?"

"Look around. Do you think that I’m in hell?" Liara questioned. "Dad… I mean, his father started making changes in this place from the moment I came here! Everyone around here is different, but... but not bad, at least not his family members."

"Does that mean others are bad?" Calvin asked with concern. Liara didn’t reply to anything for a while. "Tell me, Lee."

"They are rouges, Calvin, and because of me, dad is making rules and changing ways of living, so yes, I’m trouble in most of the rouge’s eyes. But you don’t have to worry about me. I can take care of myself, and my new family is with me." Liara responded. Calvin clenched his jaw in anger but kept his mouth shut. "By the way, I’m full now." She said, pushing the plate away.

"But two spoons are still left."

"I’m done, please. Or I will vomit all." Liara said, making a face. Calvin didn’t insist on it and finished her remaining oats. "What the? Why are you eating my leftover food? You used to hate doing that."

"Those habits are long gone. My love has a habit of tasting everything and then leaving it, so I now start eating leftovers." Calvin chuckled.

"So, what have you thought about her mother?" Liara asked, smiling.

"That woman, she is a big no." Calvin shook his head in a big NO. With that, Calvin told her everything that had happened years ago.

"Here!! This is the medical report of Ethlyn, as well as her background details as per the file that I received. Destiny had sensed her as Rose’s mother a long time ago, but I didn’t inform you about it because I wanted to wait till she woke from her coma."

"I would like to tell you one thing: Ethlyn was in a coma for the past four years and eight months, so observing her medical history, it’s clear that she never abandoned our Rose. Now, reading the file is all your wish."

"She was in a coma for four years and eight months? What the hell was her wolf doing? Why didn’t she heal her human?" Calvin asked in shock because it was rare to hear any werewolves stay in a coma for that long. And he was positive that she was a werewolf when they met for the first time.

This time, Liara explained Ethlyn’s medical history.

"You have a hospital in this Black Council?" Calvin asked in surprise.
