She opened the door of their VIP room before he would have walked out carrying her.

All their shopped items had already reached Alaric’s penthouse that he had purchased in Gosling’s Hotel in New York as an investment and also for having a place to stay in the human world in case of any emergency.

“Don’t you think that we should also get a place in the human world? I mean, using Alaric’s place just because you have the spare key isn’t right.” Liara mumbled.

“As long as he is single. I don’t mind using everything that he has.” Liara didn’t comment on that part because it was their thing. “He, too, used to do the same until we started staying together,” Theodore added, pointing his finger back and forth between them.

“Well, I can’t say anything then, can I?”

“You sure can, Lolo!! I was also planning to buy a place in the human world but not this soon. For now, our future pack needs all the basic facilities that are in other packs.”

“I will. I could help.” Liara spoke in a low tone.

“You’re Lia. Most of the incomes of the packs are from your patients and their family, who pay for medical expenses, food, hotel, and other things. Hell, a lot of people now know Black Council as the place where Doctor Wayne lives instead of the hub of rogues.”

“Hmm. Now that you have mentioned Doctor Wayne, I was thinking of preparing a report for Ethlyn Smith as soon as possible and sending it to Calvin as soon as possible.” Liara said with a frown.

“I doubt that you can do that work before returning from our vacation. Because we have to reach there tomorrow Morning, and I’m not allowing you to work till late at night.” Theodore pointed out. “Moreover, we have to use this time to pack all the things that we will require there.” he reminded her.

“Why do I feel that you’re planning to use Gate stone instead of using flight?” Liara asked, wrapping her hand around his neck with a grin.

“Well, there is nothing wrong in using it because I can’t risk taking flight, not when you’re in the early days of pregnancy. I read somewhere that flying isn’t safe during pregnancy.”

“You read that wrong. Flying in the early days is safe, but not when your due date is near. But wait, when? Where did you read this? And when?” Liara questioned him. “Don’t tell me that you’re reading all these things in your free time.”

“You can’t blame me if I do that,” Theodore said, smiling sheepishly.

“Who could have thought that you would become this sweet?” Liara chuckled.

The moment they reached their home, they were shocked to see Moana and Alaric making out on their couch while Lucifer was playing in the background. They could bet that both Moana and Alaric had no idea what was going on with Lucifer speaking to Chloe.

"I told you to stay away from her, didn't I?" Both Moana and Alaric fell from the couch, not expecting them to return this soon. After all, Theodore had told Alaric that the movie would end at eleven at night.
