Liara was working on paper works of the patients who were newly admitted to the hospital and who had to discharge in a day or two, along with their medicines!!

'Two years more!! After that, my juniors will be doing these works.' She thought and smiled, thinking about her future, but immediately her smile vanished when she realized that she didn't know what her future held for her life with her mate.

Immediately her mind diverted toward the coach in the hospital. She quickly ran toward the entrance of the hospital and was shocked to see the same boy from the evening who had completed his dare by making fun of her in the arms of Beta Tobey Gilbert, and he was bleeding badly.

"Moon Goddess!!" She got scared when she saw his status. She could tell from her experience that… that boy couldn't make it before his breathing and pulse were dropping with each passing second.

And the same thing happened before the doctor could have got a chance to treat him; his soul left his body.

Liara's eyes moistened at his death. 'He..he died because he hurt me for barely three to four minutes.' She talked with Destiny, blaming herself for his death.

'Think calmly, Lee!! I doubt this is our brother's work. They can never think of killing a student even though they can be mean sometimes. Think calmly before assuming anything.' Destiny said, knowing very well about the weakness of her human. She took control of Liara's body and dialed Calvin's number. She really hoped that he would be awake at this moment.

"Hello, Calvin."

"Destiny? Is everything all right?" She heard his sleepy voice.

"No. Nothing is right. My human is feeling guilty with the thought that your men killed one of the students who kind of played a prank on her."

"Killed someone? Seriously? I'm her protective brother, not her psycho brother." Calvin said in shock and anger. Because he really hoped that his beta wouldn't have done this. "Still, hold on!! Let me tell you the update from my end."

He kept her phone on and called his ex-beta, Jarlen Collin, who was appointed as a canteen in charge of the pack in which Liara was staying, and then connected both the call so that even Destiny could hear them.

"What did you do, J?" Calvin asked directly, coming to the point.

"I swear, Alpha. I have no idea about it. I had just broken both his hands and his legs multiple times…but I swear to Mom that I didn't hit on his head because of which he died." Jarlen said with tension.

'There he is… Catch him.' Both Destiny and Calvin heard this from Jarlen's side.

'I haven't done anything.' Jarlen said, and at that moment phone dropped from his hand when the guard attacked him to capture him.

"Hey!! Who is there? It's Alpha Calvin Haysbert, this side. Leave him. It's my orde…." Calvin yelled on the phone, but the call got disconnected. "Destiny? You there?" he asked.

"Who's this 'J'?" Liara asked in a weak tone. "And where can I find him?" She asked next.

"He is head of the canteen in charge. His fake name is..."

"James Virgo."

"Yes!! Keep him alive. I will be there by the next morning. If he is saying that he didn't do anything, then I'm positive that he wouldn't have done anything. I trust him."

"And why do you trust him?" Liara asked, running toward the quarter of the staff when she could find this guy.

"Because he is Jarlen. You mightn't have met him, but you know Uncle Bruce, right?"

"Oh no!!" Liara started running now after recognizing this 'J.' He was his dad's best friend's son. She felt that person was familiar but didn't use her kind to recall who he was because they had barely met face to face. At the same time, she had no idea how she was going to keep him safe. She couldn't even keep him safe by the next morning, but all she hoped was for him to be fine.

Because the boy who was killed was the younger son of some Alpha, it was clear that any Alpha wouldn't let him go this easily.

She gasped when she saw the scene in front of her.

"Jarlen?" She whispered, hoping to see any movement in his body.

"Ms. Haysbert!! Back to your hostel." Alpha Kane ordered when she tried to reach the dead body of Jarlen.

"Al...Alpha Kane." Tears dwelled in her eyes. She couldn't even speak.
