‘Oh, my moon Goddess! It is so hard to wrap in my mind around all this information.’ Liara thought in tension. She didn’t want this. This wasn’t her calling. She wanted to help others, and that was why she became a healer but this… this was out of expectation.

‘Maybe Moon Goddess chose us to help her?’ Destiny suggested.

“Can’t that lady leave the realm with her powers? Is it important to transfer her position to my mate?” Theodore questioned because Liara’s power meant unnecessary tension.

“No. There is something called a vacation. I bet Lee will leave her hospital duty for a while during vacation. In the same way, when Selene will take vacations, her powers will be left behind.” Scarlett replied in a sarcastic way.

“Anything else with which you can help us?” Liara asked, pinching Theodore’s hand again, silently asking him to calm down because he looked red after Scarlett’s comment. “Like, when will he attack us again? Or something?”

“No. I can’t see the future.” Scarlett replied. “But I have seen the past and the amount of damage that you have done to his army. It will take months to cover from that damage but remember, the next time, he will attack with greater power and force. At that moment, remember me, I will be happy to help.”

“And how can you be so sure about all the information that you have given us is true?” Theodore again asked.

“One, I’m the first witch of my kind, and second, Steve and I share the same grandparents, who used to be Werewolf King and Queen two generations back. So, if you don’t trust me, you can ask them.” Scarlett replied and looked at Liara, “And there I thought only I have an annoying husband.”

‘Husband? She is not his fated?’

‘I don’t know the full story, but NO.’ Liara mind linked him back.

“And do you know one of the interesting things about my power? Hmm? I can hear thoughts.” Scarlett smiled innocently.

“We were not…”

“It’s okay. I didn’t care to hear, Lee!! Scarlett brushed off the topic. “You can stay here tonight if you want.”

“No. Thank you. We will have to leave. Maybe some other day.” Liara responded.

“Okay. I won’t stop, but I know that you like having food at midnight. So, tell me, what do you want to have?”

“No. It’s okay. Some other day, I promise. And I’m sure that your husband will be waiting for you.” Liara said, after all, it was night.

“Possessive dogs,” Scarlett muttered, shaking her head. “But wait, at least meet him for once. You didn’t attend my dramatic wedding.”

‘Did she just insults us?’ Inigo asked.

‘Ignore her. She can hear us if she wants.’ Theodore responded.

A moment later, a man entered, wearing all black. He had five to six bracelets in his hand. All his fingers had rings. One of his hands was covered with tattoos. He had three ear piercing in his right ear and a single piercing at his left eyebrow. He had a big fake grin on his face.

‘He looks like a cartoon to me.’ Theodore mind linked Liara.

‘And you look like an old uncle. Now shut up.’

“She is also a family?” That man asked before adding, “And there I thought my dick is longer than your family member list.” he laughed at his own joke.

“Don’t mind him. I married a kid who has no filter on his tongue.” Scarlett said before introducing each other. “Maverick Wright, my husband.” She said, pointing toward the man who looked serious now. “And they are Doctor Liara Wayne and Theodore Wayne.”

“Hello to both of you!!” Maverick spoke, grinning like a fool again, and reached near Liara to hug her and then hugged Theodore. “Damn! They both are boring like you. They didn’t even hug me back.”

“Stop annoying, Rick. I think calling you was a big mistake.” Scarlett said, on which he grinned a more to tease her and left the study room. “Sorry! He never gets serious until that is related to me.”

“It’s okay.” Liara said, brushing the topic. After all, everyone was different in nature. “I was wondering if you could see a little more detail about that Dhampir. Anything that you have missed. I mean if he is a wizard then you too are a witch that too an older old.”

“His name is Lestat.” Scarlett replied and looked at Theodore. “And Lestat is your father.”
