Chapter 220: Chapter 220

“And that man has a habit of holding a mysterious type of staff in his hand.”

“Staff in his hand? What is he? A Wizard?” Liara questioned. “Because only they wear the type of clothes that you described and use their staff for any type of magic.” She muttered. “So, this person… whoever he is, a vampire or a wizard?”

“Or Both?” Theodore questioned, and immediately Liara’s eyes widened when she realized who could help her in this situation.

“I know who can answer this question. Why didn’t I think about her before?” With this, she quickly stood up to wear some decent clothes. She threw a polo t-shirt at Theodore who wore it without questioning her as long as she was taking him with her. “We are going to meet one of my family members. I mean, she is Steve’s cousin. So, we are not really related.”

“Okay. But who is she?” Theodore asked.

“I have to visit Scarlett Hecate Wright.” Liara told her ring. “She is one of the strongest witches in the whole world, also, she is the reincarnation of the first witch of the world.” With that both of them, reached at the border of the Shadow Pack.

“Holy fuck!!” The guards on the border screamed in shock.

“We’re here to meet Scar,” Liara said politely to the guard.

“You mean Luna Hecate!!”

“Yes!! I’m her cousin’s cousin, Liara Haysbert.” Liara used her previous surname so that Scarlett could recognize her because they were not that close while Theodore silently observed everything. In the very next moment, Liara and Theodore found themselves in the study room.

‘Fuck! I had this type of teleporting system.’ Theodore complained and in the next moment, a lady looking like a model walked in, tying the belt of her night gown.

“Lee, right?” She spoke on which Liara nodded her head. “It’s been nine years since I last saw you.” She said, recalling Caroline’s wedding when Liara used to start studying in her free time. Scarlett hugged Liara and asked her and Theodore to settle down.

“So, what brought you here?” Scarlet asked directly because no one arrive at anyone’s pack at this moment.

“I think a wizard is behind me. So, I was thinking if you can help me in finding out who he is. And what does he want from me?” Liara asked softly.

“And what is I get in return for the information you’re looking for?” Scarlett asked with a smile that didn’t look like an evil one, but Theodore got pissed at her and released his aura. Couldn’t she do this for free? After all, they were a family, right? Liara held his arms, calming him down.

“What do you want?” Liara asked calmly.

“A call from you at least once a month. I know we are not really close, but nothing goes wrong trying to start something new,” Scarlett said with a chuckle.

“Yeah, sure. Deal.” Liara responded.

Scarlett looked at Theodore before speaking, “Griffin Wayne.”

“Theodore. My name is Theodore.” He corrected her.

“No! I’m calling you by the name which your mother wanted to name you when her eyes landed on you for the first time. She wanted to give the name of her fated mate to her pups, but before she could have got that chance, her soul left her body.” Theodore didn’t want to get emotional, but after hearing this, a lot of emotions started going on in his body. He had now finalized the name of his son already. Though the witch sitting in front of him didn’t look old, but she was knowledgeable and powerful.

‘Does she know about my father as well?’ Theodore wondered, but then he shook his head because he didn’t want to know about that man who raped his mother. However, there were many vampires who did that to her mother, but still, he didn’t want to know the path where he didn’t want to walk.

“Coming back to the question, who is that wizard?” Scarlett spoke before using her power. The air around them became thick and hard to breath which she chanted the spell, which neither of them could understand. Theodore tried to divert his mind to think, who could be mated with this witch?

Because whoever he was must be strong enough to handle her power.

“He is not just a wizard but also a vampire.” She spoke, and her voice sounded foreign to both of them. Maybe because she was using her power, it wasn’t calm, sweet, and composure, but it was laced with power, dominance, and authority.

‘I was right.’ Theodore thought.
