“In that way, all humans should blame their dogs for seducing them.” Liara reasoned out and started wearing her clothes.
“Don’t try to be over-smart, Lia. I’m still mad at you.” Theodore said, which was a big fat lie. He couldn’t stay mad for long.
“Stay mad then. I’m not going to apologize to you for not listening to you, nor going to promise that I won’t repeat something like this again.” Liara growled, getting pissed off by his protective nature. They spend a minute in silence. Once Liara was getting, she was ready to leave without saying goodbye, but she knew that she would feel guilty for her behavior later.
She tiptoed and planted a kiss on his cheek because reaching his forehead wasn’t possible for her. “Bye!!” With that, a gate opened near her, taking her to the gate of the academy.

“Ambrose!! You can’t let that woman stay here. This attack was for her. If not for her, this wouldn’t have happened in the first place.”
“I’m sure that you would have lost a couple of your people because of all this mess.”
“Also, she lost the challenge for two weeks staying like a rogue because my pup told me that she told him about having tasty and delicious food at some canteen of the hospital.”
“Exactly. This was decided that she has to live a life like us because she couldn’t live even two weeks without her food.”
“Today, Mo is in this state, that too because of that outsider.”
“Not to forget, your mother died because of her.”
“Ask her to leave by rejecting Theodore or leave with her mate. No one cares.”
“ENOUGH.” Ambrose roared after listening to all the allegations against Liara one by one. He wasn’t a fan of Liara, but it didn’t mean that he was blind or a fool who would blame Liara for everything that was happening around him, at least for what happened with Moana or with his mother.
Okay! He was unaware of the fact that she ate food in the hospital canteen, but he would think it logically; then, from morning till night, she was there, tired and exhausted after sex with Theodore and a lot of her hospital work.

He could sense the smell of sex and sweat from both of them that morning.
But that wasn’t the concern.
Coming back to the topic, all those things wouldn’t have happened if Liara wouldn’t have thought to save Moana’s life. She would have stayed here and would have eaten raw meat by hunting. It was clear that she had broken the rule. But even if she had done that, he didn’t want to throw her out because of that part. It wasn’t written anywhere that rogue couldn’t eat those types of food. In fact, Edolie was there for the last two days; it didn’t mean she would be on a food strike there.
Coming back to the attack that happened today because of Liara. It was the cost of keeping healer between them. But he doubted that was only the case. Rowan and Mateo filled that how vampire’s power wasn’t working on Liara.
A healer didn’t have such type of power. Neither did they have the power to mind-link all the werewolves. At the same time, he didn’t miss how white and beautiful her white coat was… similar to Moon Goddess’s wolf, Luna.
“She will be staying with us, between us,” Ambrose announced his decision.
“But…”
“My decision is final.” He said, not giving anyone a chance to speak. “And mind everyone; she is my niece. I will rip that person’s tongue if I hear anyone talking evil about her.” he threatened, shutting everyone’s mouth.
Everyone was already in shock by the part where Liara was from such a strong background, and the part she was Ambrose’s niece blew everyone’s mind.
Ambrose’s eyes widened when he realized what he ended up speaking, and that was the moment he sensed Liara’s scent with Edolie. He didn’t know she would return this soon. He turned his head to see Edolie, only to catch Liara in his arms, who happily hugged him.
