Chapter 205: Chapter 205
He could have tried hard to adjust to her in the same way Liara did in the beginning, but he didn't. He never worked on the mate bond with his other mate, nor did he give her a chance to do the same. Like a coward, he just chose the easiest way, REJECTION.
If Tiara wasn't as good as Liara, then he, too, wasn't great with her, either.
He couldn't imagine the pain that she would have gone through after he rejected her after marking her. All of what? That was because she ruined Liara's face.
He could have done the same with Tiara, couldn't he?
A person could lie in front of the whole world but not in front of his own face. He knew that he could have handled the situation in a better way, but he didn't because not everyone was as kind and amazing as Liara.
It wasn't that Theodore wanted Tiara in his life.
Nope. Never. He was positive that Liara wouldn't mind that because Tiara was also his fated mate, but because by bringing Tiara into his life meant hurting her more because he knew that he would be partial between both the sisters because Liara was Liara, and Liara would always be his favorite. And holding Tiara in a relationship where she wouldn't feel equally loved as Liara would be unfair.
But he wanted to do one thing, one day, he would apologize to her. For not becoming that mate that she would have wished or hoped for.
At the same time, he prayed to the lady up above there to bless her with someone who would treat her in the same way or better than he was treating his Lia.
With that, his attention shifted back to Liara, watching her innocent face and her breast. Fuck! He was hard again.
He shook his head, brushing those thoughts away, and watched her. There was a time when she used to get scared of him, and now, she was snuggled into his chest, wrapping her hand around him, sleeping in the middle of the forest without any fear. He kissed her hair and slowly removed her hands which were around him.
He stood up on his feet and ran in all the directions around that place to ensure that there was no one around before leaving from there. He didn't want to leave her alone, but he had to do something which he knew wouldn't be possible in Liara's presence.
Once he was confirmed that the whole area was safe, he returned back to the Liara.
'I'm sorry in advance for leaving you like this, Lia.' He apologized before asking the gate stone to open the gate for him to the Black Council. He knew that Liara would follow him after a minute or two the moment she would sense his anger because of the mate bond.
All he hoped was that nothing would go wrong in that one to two minutes.
"Theo!! Son, how is Liara? Is she fine?" Edolie asked in concern, even though she could smell the scent of sex, sweat, and Liara’s scent.
“Where is Moana?” He asked, looking around, searching for that bitch. It was the time of the training when she was nowhere to be found on the ground.
“Don’t tell me you’re here to blame my daughter for the things that happened with your princess.” Ambrose Wayne said, narrowing his eyes. “I know what happened yesterday. Derik told me everything. It was good that Liara was concerned for Lucy, but what was the need to jump into danger when she doesn’t know how to take care of herself?”
“Because of her, Mo and Derik also got trapped in that cursed land when they went to bring her back. After all, if anything would have happened to her, then you would have made everyone’s life hell here. That’s why I have decided that she won’t stay….”
That was it.
