Liara was thankful that she didn’t have to stand or walk otherwise after Theodore’s punishment. She doubted that she was in that condition to even a step. He was a beast, and there was no doubt about that. As much as he wanted to take her in front of everyone, he didn’t want others to listen, see and enjoy the scene, so he took her a little away from there.
‘I’m working with Alaric and, of course, a couple of people from here. And for now, I have increased the security of this place.’ Theodore mind linked her.
‘Do you think that this is right to risk everyone’s lives for me?’ Liara asked softly. She didn’t want anyone to die because of her.
‘Everyone was to take advantage of the part that you’re a healer, but now that it’s time to protect you, they just can’t run away from this.’ Theodore growled in her mind. ‘Moreover, I’m not forcing anyone into this. They know what they’re doing. Don’t forget that you saved that fucker’s life. It’s his duty to pay back the debt.’
‘I didn’t save his life with this intention, Odo. I don’t do things with the hope of getting anything in return. I do that because I want to do that.’
‘Liar!’ Theodore scoffed. ‘At some stage, you loved me with the hope of getting loved by me in return.’ He pointed out, caressing her cheek, which had turned red. He enjoyed the change in her heartbeat when he mentioned that part. Her heart was hammering loudly, and not a word came from her mouth, signaling that he was right about that part.
She didn’t start loving him with the expectation of getting loved by him in return, but she also had a feeling, and she didn’t realize the phase when her expectation started building in her heart without her control.
‘What happened? Cat got your tongue.’ He teased her.
‘Umm.. I think we both break our own rules when it comes to one another.’ Liara replied and hid her head in her chest, enjoying his smell and preparing herself to sleep. ‘What happened? Why can I sense that you’re feeling guilty about something?’
‘I’m sorry for hurting you, Lia. I’m sorry for using you. I’m sorry for hating you. Because of me, you went through all those things.’ He apologized, planting a kiss on her hair.
‘What happened? Why are you talking about the past?’ Liara asked, lifting her head to see his head.
‘Nothing. It’s just that I recalled what are the things that I did with you while thinking how much I changed from the night my eyes landed on you till tonight.’ He responded.
‘Leave thinking about that then.’ Liara muttered and thought to ask something that was different in Theodore compared to others. ‘I have read that any Alpha rank or Lycan has a strong sex drive. Then how is this possible that you stayed away from us for this long without… without intimating with us, even for us?’ She asked, recalling how Tiara and Calvin couldn’t control their sex drive. It was for her as well, but with time, she learned to control her wolf’s desire. It was just like training pets.
‘Because I was disgusted with the feeling of getting intimate with anyone until I tasted you. And all I used to see was all RED while having fucking anyone. Most of the time, I used to end up killing the female under me. I wanted to do the same with you but fuck, you were strong enough to handle me.’
‘Lia, I…. I was raped multiple times and for years when I was weak.’ Theodore confessed something about his past. Something that they never did before. It wasn’t that Liara didn’t try to but Theodore used to brush that topic, saying those were not happy moments for him.
Liara’s eyes widened in shock.
‘My childhood is no less than a nightmare. That’s why I want all the pups staying here to be strong enough to protect themselves.’ Theodore explained. The way he was talking about his past, it looked like he had healed from those memories.
‘You never told me about it before.’ Liara pointed out, playing with his earlobe.
‘At that moment, I wasn’t ready for it.” A small smile tugged on Liara’s lips, hearing this.
‘Glad to know that you are healed now, Odo.’ She mind-linked, kissing his chest.
