‘A goddess.’ Theodore responded, knowing that even Selene had a white wolf but with blue eyes. Something that he had just read in books.

‘An Iceball?’ Inigo said next, on which Destiny growled at him, demanding an explanation. ‘What? You were red; that’s why you’re fireball. Now that you’re white, an iceball or snowball will be better.’ He explained.

‘I didn’t like this name.’ Destiny complained, and Inigo swore to call her snowball to tease her. Theodore softly ran his hand on her coat, admiring her beauty. She looked beautiful even with the red coat. It was just that he didn’t want to miss the moment to cherish her. He played with her ear, and she purred in happiness.

“You’re so beautiful.” He mumbled, on which she licked her face. He had to bite his tongue, not stopping her from doing so. It was her way of showing affection. She licked his face multiple times until she spoke.

‘You taste good.’

Theodore chucked and hugged her, wrapping his hand around her and caressing her coat. ‘I will spend time with you another day. For now, I’m giving control to Inigo.’ Theodore's mink linked her before giving control to Inigo, and the moment he did that, he started shifting. He moved back a little to get enough space to shift. Destiny watched him shifting; his hands turned claws, and his mouth started getting bigger and longer like a wolf. Unlike her, he didn’t shift by cracking a lot of bones. Instead, his body changed into Lycan form.

A lot of hairs started popping out all over Theodore’s body.

A few seconds later, Inigo was standing in front of her, standing on his two feet. Destiny had to look up to see him.

‘Hello, my little snowball.’ Inigo mind linked her to teased, on which she growled and lunged at him, resting her paws on his chest; she too tried to stand on her two feet. ‘You’re still short.’

‘Call me short again, and you’re dead.’ Destiny growled at him, on which Inigo wrapped his hand around her body like a human, and she licked her face with love. ‘Stop it. We are here for hunting.’ She muttered, licking him back.

‘Let’s find something.’ With that, she pushed him away and landed on the ground. Inigo grumbled but agreed. Soon, they started running together in search of food. He was surprised to see Destiny’s speed... She was fast, fast enough to compete with Lycan in the run.

They spent the next couple of hours hunting, playing, and loving each other until Destiny sensed darkness and negative energy around.

The same energy when shadow demons were there in her room.

‘Daeva or Daevas are here.’ She mind linked Inigo. Hearing this, he quickly became sat in an alert position, holding her close to her. ‘We need to leave.’ She added, reading to use gate stone which was a part of her body at this moment.

In the next second, a gate appeared in front of them, and they left there as they were not prepared for a demon who had only one weakness, light.

Once they disappeared, three Daevas reached the spot where they were. They wondered where did they go.

“Searching for someone?” They heard a voice and saw a man with a mask on his face and a sword in his hand. Behind him was a girl with a mask and playing with a long whip which was sharp at the end, in her hand. Without giving them a second, she threw her long whip at one of the Daevas, holding its neck in it. She pulled him close to her, dragging him with the whip that was made of iron, something that could hurt them.

While the other two flew away from there. “Follow them.” The owner of the sword said, throwing it toward them and following his sword.

After following them for a good amount of them, when Colton reached near his sword, he found those Daevas dead by iron bullets.

He reached back to his junior, Delilah, who was also a supernatural hunter just like him. She was just eighteen and was great at her work.

“He is of no use, Sir. His mind is in control of someone else.” She said, looking at Daevas, who didn’t look in his right sense.

“Then he didn’t have a reason to live.” Colton didn’t waste a second and cut his head from his body.

“We need to find the person behind this black magic. I think it’s a witch behind that she wolf.’ Delilah shared her input.

“It's a vampire behind all this,” Colton said, sensing a vampire in the forest. Theodore and he had planned this trap for them, but it looked like the mastermind wanted to stay hidden or was smarter than they had thought. "Pack your bag!! We are leaving for the area around Black council."

"To kill rogue?" Delilah questioned him and didn't get any answer from him. "Why didn't you kill that Lycan and she wolf? They were powerful; I could sense that." She questioned next. He was like a mentor to her but was extremely rude.

"Did I ever ask you why you are running from your vampire mate?" Colton snapped, shutting Delilah's mouth. At the same time, her eyes widened, wondering how did he know? And how much did he know? "What? Do you think that I didn't do background research on you?"

"I don't want to talk about that part."

"Same here!!"

Sorry for being late!! I was really tired after today's gym workout. I ended up sleeping for three hours.
