Liara watched her mate in awe and was so proud of him. Theodore also told her what exactly was going on in the Black Council. It wasn’t easy to manage the rogue who didn’t want to change at all. Until then, those were still alive because they wanted to kill Theodore, and he didn’t mind that, but if Liara would go there and they would try to hurt her, then that would be the last day of their life for sure.

“Look at me when I talk to you.” He ordered when she started, looking in all directions.

“You should have told me about it, Theo!!” Liara still complained, looking at him.

“I wanted to surprise you and you told me once that you like surprises.” Theodore responded before adding, “I wanted to achieve something so that I could be more deserving of having you. Though I already have you but still, I wanted to give you a similar lifestyle that you had at your parent’s house, if not less.”

“My one and only goal is to give a princess a state where she can rule like a queen.” He leaned toward her and kissed her passionately. Tears dwelled in Liara’s eyes hearing Theodore’s confession. All this time, she thought about fulfilling her dream while he was busy building a beautiful future for both of them on his own.

“You’re everything to me, Lia. My only family. I never thought that I was capable of loving anyone, but then you entered my life. I tried my best to stay away from you, but you didn’t hear me, and the moment you did…” he paused before continuing, “My life wasn’t like before anyone. I had started to love you without my knowledge. I love you, Doctor Liara Haysbert Wayne.”

‘Wait! What?’

Theodore kept his blazer aside on the bed and went on his knee, NAKED, holding a ring in his hand, Liara didn’t have more knowledge about rings, but it was a beautiful triangular cut red stone ring. She didn’t know whether it was a diamond or some normal stone; all that mattered was Theodore’s feelings. It was hard to focus on the ring when a sexy greek god was sitting on his knee without any clothes. Well, could she blame him when she herself was sitting naked with her legs crossed?

Would this be the story that she would tell to her pups about their father proposing to their mother?

“Lia, I chose red because it reminded me of your red hair and also your red blood.” Liara chuckled at his last word. “I don’t know what to say next because you’re already mine. ” He muttered with a frown. “Ah, yeah!! One day, I will stand like a gentleman, which I’m not, and that fucker Alaric will be standing beside me as my best man. I will be waiting for you, who will walk down the aisle as my bride.”

Liara started crying, hearing him. Now she understood why he never confessed his feelings to her because it would make her cry.

“Is my proposal that unromantic?” Theodore asked her.

“No!! No!!” Liara shook her head.

“Then give me your hand.” Liara cried and giggled and forwarded her hand toward him. Theodore put the ring on her finger and stood up on his feet, only to slam his lips against her. They poured all their emotions into that kiss. They looked like a hungry animals ready to eat each other

“I… will… take… the… control.” Liara breathed between the kiss.
