Chapter 102: Chapter 102
“Dad, I have to tell you something about Theodore Wayne?” Liara said in a low tone, entering Brandon’s bedroom, where he was searching for something in his wardrobe.
“Hmm. Go ahead, Princess!!” Brandon said, without looking at her, and kept searching for something in the wardrobe. “God!! Your mother has spoiled me. I don’t know a thing about my belongings. I can’t find my black t-shirt.”
“Dad, it’s urgent.” Brandon immediately stopped what he was doing and looked at her.
“Did he hurt you? Did he reject you already?” These were Brandon’s first questions when he reached Laira, holding her shoulder in concern. “Hmm?” He asked again softly.
Tears welled in Liara’s eyes, and her lips trembled. “Say something, Princess. You’re scaring me.” Brandon said with tension. When Liara didn’t say anything even in the next few minutes, he made her sit on the bed. “What happened, Lee? What do you have to tell me about Theodore?”
“Dad… I…I have hidden something from you… actually I.. I have known him since my college days. He….” Liara started telling her father each and everything, including the part about how she helped him in one way or another like a fool. “He is the one who almost killed you. I’m sorry. Dad. I’m sorry. I didn’t want him to get killed, so I….”
“How dare he hurt you again and again?” Brandon roared loudly. “I won’t leave him.” Liara was shocked to see that his father was mad at Theodore for hurting his daughter, not because he had almost killed him. Brandon dashed out of the room in anger.
“Dadd… dadd…” Liara ran behind him in the direction of the guest room, and blood ran away from her face when she saw Theodore holding Sophia’s neck.
“Take a step closer, and I will kill your wife.” He warned Brandon and looked at Liara. “You shouldn’t have opened your mouth, Lia,” he said dangerously, and in the next second, he ripped her neck from her body.
“Mommmmm!!!! Mommmmmmm!!!! Moommmmm!!” Liara cried in shock and fell on the floor with a thud. She looked around and found herself in her room, on the floor of her room, to be exact. She was crying and sweating badly.
There was no one else in her room.
‘Was that a dream?’ She wondered and recalled how she returned back to her room when she watched Sophia taking Theodore into the guest room. At the same time, she was battling in her mind by lying on the bed where she should tell her dad about Theodore’s truth and not.
Looked like she ended up falling asleep.
Liara quickly stood up on her feet and walked out of her room to check on her mother. She looked at the time and realized that she had slept for around two hours. She sighed in relief when she saw Sophia instructing the helpers in arranging the dinner table.
“Ask everyone to join the dinner,” Sophia ordered one of the helpers before walking toward her bedroom.
