Chapter 54: Chapter 54
Agatha and Clara took Belinda to the cage where they had locked Alpha Cephas. He sat on the floor, his hands over his knees and his head bowed.
The clothes he had on were stained with his dried blood. He tried putting up a fight with Agatha and one of the men in the pack, and he ended up getting brutally wounded.
“There he is.” Agatha uttered, and Cephas raised his head and looked up to see Belinda standing in front of him.
He clenched his jaws angrily as he stared at her. He just wanted to get rid of her once and for all but he kept failing and getting himself humiliated.
He hated her even more because of this. Belinda stared at him speechlessly with lots of thought going through her head.
A part of her wanted to pounce on him and kill him right away, while the other part wanted to make him suffer slowly until he died.
“What should we do about him? If you want us to eliminate him right away, we can, Belinda. He hurt one of us and we don’t take that lightly. He should be dead, but we want you to make the final decision.” Agatha uttered, and Belinda nodded.
She reached for her belly and rubbed it with her hand. “I don’t want to kill him. Not yet. I don’t want to be a murderer to my unborn child.” She uttered, her eyes still locked with Alpha Cephas’.
“If you don’t kill me now, you’re going to regret it, because my pack will hunt you down and kill every single one of you.” He uttered, holding onto the wood of the cage and standing up.
He leaped to the front of the cage, reducing the distance between him and Belinda. Belinda scoffed and shook her head, still holding her gaze with him.
“You don’t make the decisions anymore, Cephas. I call the shots now. I am not scared of you anymore. I don’t want to kill you now because I want you to suffer slowly. I want everyone in your pack to serve me, the same way I did when I was still your slave. I can’t just let you die and forget everything you’ve done to me. It’s not going to happen that way.” She affirmed firmly and turned to look at Agatha.
“Let’s go, Agatha. We need to talk about what I want to do to him.” She said to her, and she nodded, turning to leave.
Clara moved closer to the cage, and with a smirk, she pulled down the blindfold that was folded at the top of the cage. It fell down freely, covering the cage and blocking Cephas’s view of whatever was going on around him.
“What do you want to do about hun, Belinda?” Agatha asked, and she heaved a sigh.
“I don’t want only him to suffer. I want everyone that made my life miserable in that pack to suffer the same way I did. Especially his mate, Maeve.” She answered, and Agatha let out a smirk.
“So you want us to attack his pack?” She asked, and Belinda nodded.
“Yes, but you should spare Maeve. I need her to suffer more, just like her mate is doing presently. Will this be possible? Can we take down a whole pack?” Belinda asked with doubts on her, and Agatha broke into laughter.
“Seriously?? You really don’t know the kind of power you possess, Belinda. If you knew, you'd have optimized it. Only one of us can take down a pack, talkless of us going as a family. No soul will be spared.” She answered boldly.
Belinda let out a faint smile and bobbed her head. She got to understand why King Talos and his wife hated her stay in the kingdom. They were scared that she could destroy them overnight.
“When should we attack?” Agatha further inquired, jolting Belinda out of her thoughts.
“I… I am not sure. Aren’t you all busy? And as for me, I…”
“You wouldn’t be going with us, Belinda. I wouldn’t advise you right with the child inside of you. We’ll go there tonight, and we’ll bring back Maeve. You can do anything you like to her. We care less about our enemies.” Agatha answered, and Belinda nodded, touching her belly through her clothes again.
‘I miss him.’ She thought.
Agatha realized she was getting lost in thoughts and she hastily called her back again.
“You have to tell me what exactly happened at the palace, and why we had to find you in such a horrible situation when you’re carrying the Prince’s child.” She uttered, holding Belinda’s hand and walking her into the house.

While Maisie was with Damian on the field, she saw Maeve approaching them from afar, causing her eyes to widen in shock.
It was the first time Maeve was ever going to step her feet into the palace.
“How could you?!” Maeve smacked, catching Maisie off guard.
“Sister, what’s going on?” She asked, moving closer to her. Before Maeve could talk, Maisie grabbed her hand and wanted to pull her away from Damian, but Maeve was too angry to concur.
“Don’t touch me.” She snatched her hands from Maisie, anger evident in her eyes and tone.
“You said she was without help! You said it was very safe to go after her now and get rid of her once and for all. Well guess what?! Cephas left to deal with her for two days now and I can’t find him anywhere! The only thing I found was his blood spilled on a rock!” Maeve yelled as hot tears streamed down her cheeks.
“What? Oh my… I swear to you Maeve, I was told she was without harm. I never…”
“Enough, Maisie! We were doing fine until you brought up that girl’s name again. I hate you for this! If I don’t find Cephas, then you should forget you have a sister anywhere. And I promise you that you wouldn’t know peace in this stupid marriage you think you are going through with!” Maeve smacked, and without hesitation, she turned to leave.
Damon creased his brows and remained silent throughout their conversation. He tried to figure out what was going on, but it seemed too complex for him.
“What was that?” He asked, and Maisie turned to look at him, putting on a fake smile.
“It was nothing. Just a sister's fight.” She answered, holding him by the arm. He nodded slowly, thinking about the words Maeve said again.
He didn’t want to believe that it was nothing. There was definitely something going on, and for some reasons, he wanted to find out.
‘Who is the woman without help? And why did they try to attack her?’ He pondered as they continued their stroll in silence.
