Chapter 51: Chapter 51
"Arrrghhh!" Belinda clutched her chest, experiencing an intense pain unlike any she had felt before. It felt as though she had become disconnected from something or someone she cherished deeply, causing her heart to fracture within her chest.
Her face flushed red, and her eyes rolled back as she collapsed onto the bed, desperately attempting to alleviate the overwhelming pain.
Standing by the bed, the maids observed her struggle, hesitant to approach due to the head maid's warning not to intervene.
"Leave her be until the arrival of the King and Queen," the head maid instructed, and the others nodded in agreement.
As Belinda grappled with the excruciating pain coursing through her body, the chamber door swung open. King Talos and Marlena entered, their attention immediately drawn to the tearful Belinda. "Is everything prepared now?" inquired Marlena, and the maids nodded in response.
"Yes," replied the head maid, and they all bowed. "Excellent. Now, summon the guards to remove her from here before things worsen," King Talos added, prompting the maids to exit the room, leaving only the King and Queen.
Just as the guards were about to apprehend Belinda, Megan burst into the room, breathless. "What are you doing?!" she shouted upon witnessing the guards' rough treatment of Belinda.
"Do not interfere, Megan. Return to your room," commanded King Talos, but Megan remained defiant.
"No, Father! This isn't fair! Where is Damon? Why are you banishing her from the kingdom? Is it a crime for them to be in love?" Tears welled up in Megan's eyes as she expressed her distress.
Her parents' lack of understanding pained her deeply. "It's wrong! Damon should be with Maisie, a woman accepted by all, not some servant or monster! Damon has rejected her, and they will never be together, ever again!" Marlena declared vehemently, leaving Megan stunned.
"Damon rejected her?" she asked, her voice filled with shock and sadness, but her question went unanswered. Megan swallowed hard, storming out of the room, angrily calling Damon's name through her tears.
Granting the guards permission to proceed with removing Belinda from the chamber and the kingdom, King Talos authorized their actions.
"Damon! Where are you?!" Megan cried out, rushing towards his quarters. Everyone she passed stared at her as if she had lost her mind.
Upon reaching Damon's room, she forcefully pushed the door open, finding him lying on his bed.
"What have you done?! How could you reject her after all the promises you made? Tell me, who influenced you to do this? Who convinced you?!" she screamed, demanding answers to each of her questions.
Damon let out a deep sigh and sat up, gazing at her with an impassive expression. "What are you talking about? And why have you disrupted my peace, my dear?" he asked, clearly frustrated.
"Disrupted your peace? How can you be at peace after committing such a terrible act against Belinda?!" she yelled, struggling to contain her desire to confront him physically.
"Belinda?" he scoffed. "Who the f**k is Belinda? Megan, if you're playing a prank on me, I'm really not in the mood. I have to be at the barracks early tomorrow, okay?" Damon responded dismissively, then lay back down on the bed.
Megan's eyes widened, and her jaw dropped in shock as she stared at Damon, struggling to comprehend his nonchalant attitude. "What did they do to you? What did they say to you?" Megan asked, feeling utterly helpless.
"Belinda is your mate! She's carrying your baby! You made promises to her, Damon!" she yelled, but Damon shook his head in frustration. "Get out, Megan!" he shouted, causing Megan to jump in fear.
Megan's eyes filled with terror as she gazed at her brother. She couldn't make sense of what was happening, but one thing she knew for certain was that he wasn't himself anymore. She was aware of how much he cared for her and that he would never intentionally hurt her.
"This isn't right," she muttered repeatedly, shaking her head as she rushed out of his chamber, determined to leave the palace and persuade her parents alone to let Belinda stay.

Belinda felt so weak that she couldn't even put up a struggle against the guards who were carrying her. The King and Queen, along with several elders, followed closely behind until they reached the gates of the kingdom.
"Take her as far away from here as possible," Queen Marlena commanded, and the guards bowed in acknowledgment.
"What... what have I done to deserve this?" Belinda whispered, trying to ignore the intense agony coursing through her.
"Father... Please! Please!" Megan cried out from within the gates. She ran out and collapsed in front of King Talos.
"Don't banish her, Father! She hasn't done anything wrong. She doesn't deserve this. It's not fair," Megan pleaded with every ounce of strength she had left, but everyone appeared resolute.
She scanned the area, hoping to find Mr. Talos, seeking his assistance, but he was nowhere to be found.
One of the maids emerged with a large bag and threw it in front of the guards holding Belinda. "These are the few things I managed to gather for her," the maid stated, bowing to the king.
"What? Talos, we weren't supposed to send her away with anything. She could die out there for all I care," Marlena uttered, and Megan's eyes widened in disbelief and disgust as she listened to her mother speak devoid of any compassion.
"No, that's too extreme. I just want her gone, far away from here. I don't want her dead, at least not yet. But if she ever returns, I swear I'll behead her myself," Talos declared, casting Belinda a venomous glance before turning to leave.
"Father!" Megan cried out, but no one paid her any attention. They all turned to depart, and the guards proceeded to drag Belinda away with her belongings.
Megan desperately struggled against the soldiers restraining her, her voice echoing with frustration. "Let me go!" she yelled, attempting to free herself from their firm grip, but their hold was unyielding. Her teary eyes remained fixed on Belinda as they forcefully dragged her away.
"Belinda! I'll find you, I swear! I'm sorry!" Megan cried out, collapsing to her knees and succumbing to a flood of tears.
Tears streamed down Belinda's face as they forcefully pulled her away. She experienced a pain more agonizing than anything she had endured during her mistreatment in Alpha Cephas' territory.
"They should have just killed me. I have nothing left to live for. Kill me!" she screamed, her words filled with despair. Suddenly, a force struck the back of her head like a solid rock, and that was the last thing she remembered.
Her consciousness faded, and she slipped into unconsciousness.
