Chapter 22: Chapter 22

Belinda got back to the hall and saw Reggie standing at a corner. He seemed quite lonely.

‘I shouldn’t go to him. Prince Damon will be pissed. I should keep my distance.’ She thought, and hastily ignored him. She walked to where the table was set and picked up a biscuit.

She took a bite and chewed on it, ready to get carried away in its taste, when she heard some women discussing.

“Why is she dressed like Princess Megan? I heard she is just a stranger in the land… a slave to be precise!”

“If that is true, why does she deserve such nice treatment? Or is she a lost child of the King?”

Belinda gulped hard as she listened to their conversation. She looked back and saw them staring at her with disgust written over their faces.

Belinda let out a feeble smile and looked away. She hastily walked away and stopped when she got to a corner in the hall.

After she heard what those women were discussing, all she wanted was to be alone. She looked around the hall, trying to lay her eyes on Prince Damon.

Soon, she sighted him sitting at the dining table prepared for the King, Queen and their children. Right next to him was Maisie.

She was smiling and stealing glances of Damon every now and then. Belinda sighed and ignored her. Instead, she focused on Prince Damon.

Megan was also seated at the table, and it seemed she had no one to talk to. The King and Queen were busy discussing, Maisie was trying to force Damon into a conversation, and Megan was just there.

‘I wish Belinda was here with me. I wouldn’t be this bored. Where is she anyway?’ Megan thought and began to look for her with her eyes.

She kept moving her head and twisting her neck in search of her, which Damon and Maisie noticed.

“Who are you looking for? You’ve been turning your head for more than two minutes.”

“I’m looking for Belinda. I’m bored and I need someone to keep me company.” Megan muttered, still looking for her.

“Belinda? Who is that?” Maisie asked, but she got no response from either of them. “I can keep you company, you know?” Maisie asked with a smile.

All of a sudden, her eyes fell on Belinda, who was standing at a corner, eating a biscuit.

“Got ya!” Megan uttered and stood up abruptly.

“Where are you going? This is a family dinner, Megan.” Queen Marlena uttered.

“I’m bored, mum. I want to go and hang out with Belinda.” She answered and walked away. Maisie stared at her as she walked off.

‘Who the f**k is Belinda? I should be the one keeping her company. Does she even like me at all?’ Maisie thought in anger.

As Belinda approached Belinda, she kept her eyes on her when all of a sudden, someone stopped in front of her. It was Yolanda.

“Aren’t you supposed to be at that table?” She asked, and Megan rolled her eyes.

“The table is so boring. My parents are discussing kingdom issues, Maisie is trying so hard to start a conversation with my brother who isn’t giving her any attention. I had to run away.”

Yolanda chuckled and nodded. “I know, but where were you going?”

“I was going to meet Belinda. She’s at that…” Megan looked over Yolanda’s shoulder and hesitated when she saw that Belinda was gone.

Yolanda looked back and didn’t see any traces of Belinda. “She left.” She muttered, and Megan nodded sadly.

“I wanted her to keep me company. I guessed you may be busy, and I didn’t want to disturb you.”

“Busy? I’m not doing anything. I’ve had my eyes on you all through. You look so beautiful and I would never let any man near you. Not in my lifetime.”

Belinda chuckled and lowered her face shyly. “You’re something else.”

Yolanda let out a smirk and said; “I can’t deny that. I’m something else for you.” Her eyes seductively fell on Megan’s breasts, and she slowly bit her lower lip.

“Yolanda!” Megan whispered and looked around nervously as she hit her arm softly. “People are around.”

“I didn’t do anything. I didn’t touch you. Only both of us understand what I mean when I stare at you like that. I want you. Now.”

“Now?” Megan asked in awe.

“Yes! Don’t you see how hot you look Megan? You are driving me crazy! Your dress, your hair and your makeup.”

“But what about the feast?”

“Oh please… People are distracted. They will never know we’re gone. Your parents have other things on their plate, we’ll be back before anyone notices.” Yolanda insisted.

Megan smiled softly and looked around again. She looked at the dining table where her parents were, and she saw they were still talking, and they looked serious.

“Okay. Let’s do this.” Megan uttered, and Yolanda grinned.

“Yes!” She spoke within gritted teeth. “Let’s go.” Yolanda turned to leave and Megan followed behind her.

They got out of the hall and looked around. There was no one around. They were about to hold hands and run off when someone interrupted.

“Princess Megan! Yolanda! Wait!” Isla yelled and waved as she ran up to them. Yolanda clenched her jaw and shut her eyes in frustration.

‘Why now of all times, Isla?!’

“What is it this time, Isla? And where are you coming from? Aren’t you supposed to be in the hall?” Yolanda bombarded her with questions.

“Can you just let me speak first?” Isla managed to ask, as she tried to catch her breath.

“What’s going on?” Megan asked.

“I saw something!” Isla uttered, and they both exchanged looks.

“What did you see?!” Yolanda was trying to hasten her talk. She couldn’t want to get down on Megan.

“I saw Prince Damon, coming out of Belinda’s chamber. And after a few minutes, she came out too!”

Yolanda and Megan creased their brows and looked at each other.

“Are you sure?” Yolanda asked, and Isla sighed. “Do I look like someone that would just make up something like that?” She asked, and Yolanda smirked.

“Well, you do, considering how you feel about her.”

“Yolanda, c’mon! I’m very serious! What is that lady playing at? Why is she trying to get close to everyone? It was Reggie, and now the Prince? Princess Megan, don’t you see something is fishy about this lady?”

‘Damon was in Belinda’s room? That means they got the chance to talk? But what should I say to Isla?’

“I don’t see anything fishy, Isla. I sent my brother to help me check her in her chamber because she told me she had this pain in her stomach.” Megan lied.

“Oh… are you sure?” Isla asked, and Yolanda looked at Megan.

“Yes, of course, I am sure. Isla, I was the one that made him go to her. Why are you making this a big deal anyway? This lady doesn’t even have anything against you. Don’t go around saying things that are not true. She isn’t trying to do anything bad here.”

Isla exhaled aloud and put her hands on her waist. “Well, don’t blame me, Princess Megan. I hate that Reggie has eyes for her and not me.”

“Then that is a problem between you and Reggie. Sort it out among yourselves. Belinda doesn’t even like him. Let’s go, Yolanda.” Megan uttered and walked past Isla.

“Where are you going?” Isla asked Yolanda.

“Just get back into the hall, will you?” Yolanda answered and shook her head as she ran off to catch up with Megan.

‘What is going on between those two? I smell something fishy. Why is Yolanda pretending not to have anything against that girl when we both feel the same way about her?’

Megan pulled Yolanda into her chamber and shut the door behind them. She turned back to kiss her, but Yolanda stopped her.

“What’s wrong?”

“Nothing. I just want to ask you something.” Yolanda answered, and Megan nodded anxiously.

“Okay?”

“What you told Isla about sending Prince Damon to check on Belinda in her room, was it true?” She inquired.

‘Why are you asking me about this now, Yolanda?’

“Yes, why do you think otherwise?”

“I don’t know, but I felt you were just trying to cover up for her. I know you’re very protective when it comes to her, but you wouldn’t lie to me too, right?”

Megan exhaled softly and touched Yolanda’s face. “I can’t lie to you, Yolanda because I have no reason to. That is the truth. And do you want to hear another truth?”

“What?”

“I want you to have me now.” Megan whispered in her ear, and Yolanda chuckled.

“At your service, my Princess.” Yolanda lifted her and threw her on the bed. She knelt above her and began to remove her clothes, while Megan stared at her.

‘I’m sorry, Yolanda. I’m sorry I have to lie to you. I know you don’t like Belinda, and you’re just trying to act cool because of me. I can’t tell you the truth… not until I find out what Damon went into her chamber to do. I need to protect Belinda.’

Yolanda grabbed her softly by the neck and kissed her affectionately. “What’s on your mind? You seem lost.” Yolanda whispered, and her lips brushed Megan’s.

“You are on my mind.” Megan answered and locked her lips with hers again. She wrapped her arms and legs around Yolanda, pulling her closer so that their skin could touch.

As they kissed, Yolanda’s hand found her way in between Megan’s legs and as she touched the apex of her leg, Megan let out a soft yet yearning moan.

Yolanda began to give her most tender flesh a good rub that made her breathing grow intense.

“Put your fingers in.” Megan moaned in labored breathing. Yolanda moved down and found the way into her juicy center with her middle fingers.

“Yes…” Megan cried.

She dived her fingers in, and Megan arched her back in response to the sensation she felt. She grabbed the pillow under her head and moaned loudly. “Ahhh!”

“Shh! Quiet!” Yolanda cautioned her, and Megan covered her mouth with her hand.

“So..oo..rryy…” She fought for more oxygen as Yolanda’s fingers began to flick her most sensitive spot.
