"What?"I asked

I wanted to be sure of what she said

"I want to know when we will start building and organizing the school" she asked

"We'll start when mom and dad comes back from their trip" I said cheerfully

"Why don't you start tomorrow" dad said

"Yes Jake can help you st..."

"No way" Jake and I said

"See" I said looking at Jake

"She'll start when you guys are back, well, you pay for the building and stuffs so.." He said and I strolled down to my seat and gulped down some food.

We ate in silence after Jake's statement, I was kinda hoping for me and Alice to gist but she just focused on her food.

I was the first to finish eating, I don't know how I finished a dish so fast, I think it was hunger.

I patiently waited for others to finish, Jake finished soon and Alice, mom and Dad.

We drove noisily particularly the loud music which by the way was a little cashy.

We soon stopped at the West's house. Jake and Alice came down with their luggage but I was still sitting.

"I'm coming with you guys" I said as my parents were trying to pull me out

"You can't go to America with us" dad said putting more effort in pulling me out which they succeeded

"I just want yo excor..."

"No way young lady" dad said as the driver pulled out my luggage

"But.."

"No buts" mom said

"We want to ensure your safety that's why we can't let you" dad said

"I know" I said almost in a whisper

"Bye honey" they pecked me on both cheeks and left

I carried my luggage and Kate, I turned around and saw Alice trying to talk to Dave, who was looking hot in a black shirt covered with black jacket.

Wait what the hell am I saying.

I was walking slowly and admiring him at the same time, I was about looking away when he turned and our eyes locked, I felt funny inside but shrugged it off.

I have to keep my distance from him, I have to make him like Alice because Alice likes him.

Dave's parents welcomed us happily, I have never met people as nice as they are, now I know where fave got his sm....

What the hell is wrong with me

I noticed Nikki was avoiding me and Alice and I intend on knowing why after I unpack.

We were shown to our rooms and I was surprised when I opened mine and saw the mist breathtaking, awesome time ever.

"Everything is blue"I said happily and snuggled Kate

"How is it possible, are they mind readers" I asked Kate

"I told my mum and dad about your objection with blue colour and they decided this..." I heard Dave at behind me

I turned and admired him again, he wasn't wearing his jacket just a black shirt with his hands tucked in his pocket.

"I mean we wanted you guys to be comfortable so I..."

"You decided to go through all this" I cut in and looked around

"Yeah" he smiled

"Thank you" I said

"No problem" he said

We stood there in silence for a few minutes.

Why is it that anytime I'm with him I feel...

"I should go now" he interrupted my thoughts

"Yeah, you should" I said and he left

And my heart felt empty

"What's wrong with me"I whispered and touched my chest

I finished with my stuffs and went out of my room towards Nikki's room.

I knock on her door hastily but I got no reply.

"She's in the garden" Dave said behind me

Why does he do that

"Thanks" I said and was about to leave

He held me back and we bore into each other eyes in silence.

"Why have you been avoiding me" he broke the silence

"I haven't been.."

"Don't lie to me" he said seriously

"Its nothing" I said

"I don't believe you" he said still holding me

"Dave please let go of me" I said

He left mg hand and I felt that empty feeling again

"I'm sorry it was so stupid of..."

"Its okay" I said

"Thanks"he said

I hurriedly walked out, I don't want any awkward moments again.

I walked up to the garden and was glad when I saw Nikki sitting there reading a novel

"Nikki, I have been looking everywhere for you" I said

Instead of answering, she sighed, stood up and was about to leave but I grabbed her

"What now" she said rudely

I was a little bit thrown aback with her rude tone

"I wanted us to talk" I said

"Oh, you wanted us to talk" she said disgusted

"Yeah, I do" I said

Why is she been so rude

Nikki POV

I was reading a cool novel when suddenly one of our guests entered and called me

That made me furious

How dare she and her best friend use me, throw me and come back to me again.

Damn!

She's gonna pay, they're all gonna pay.

I angrily stood up and was about leaving when the brat grabbed me. I swear, I could have slapped her but i don't like to fight and violence

"Please let go of my arm" I said calmly

"Are you mad at me?" She asked

Can't you see that I am

"I'm gonna say this one more time,let go of my arm" I yelled

She left me and I angrily walked out leaving her clueless

She uses me and then disrespects me in my own house. She's lucky am in a good mood right now, such a bitch.

Dave POV

I paced round my room having no real destination.

What I'm feeling for Jean is it real?

Only her name gets me all nervous.

Damn!

What's happened to me

I heard a knock on my door and I didn't want to open t at first but thought otherwise.

"Whose it?" I asked sluggishly

"Its Jean"she said

I ran to my wall mirror,checked my hair, my clothes. I fastly arranged my room and sprayed some perfume and ran towards the door, but I stopped half way and breath in.

Breath Dave, it just Jean.

Like I said just by hearing her name drives me crazy.

I opened the door and saw her standing there with here beautiful long blonde hair, beautiful face, pink love shaped lips....

I'm crazy

"Can I come in?" She asked

I gladly let her in and made her sit on my bed.

I saw how sad she was and it made me sad too

"Why the long face"I said and sat close to her

She didn't reply immediately, I watched how tears gathered up in her eyes and fell softly on her cheek.

"I'm I a bad person, I'm I full of badluck?" She asked in tears

"No you're not, why do you think that" I said trying to console her.

Alice POV

I was admiring the beautiful status, walking pass rooms, when I heard sobbing from one of the rooms which happens to be Dave's.

"I know that voice" I said

I lend, put my ear on the door, practically eavesdropping on them.

I was surprised at what I heard.

"Alice" she said

"What about her" he asked

"She won't even talk to me, when Nikki s angry with me" she said

"That's shockingly strange" he said

"Its bad, am badluck" she said

I didn't realise that I was crying until a tear dropped from my eyes.

Why am I crying, I could have been jealous but am it, am in tears.

I stood there for a few minutes, listening to jean sobbing and consoling her.

She's right and I'm stupid

Damn!

I ran to my room before anyone could see me.

Lunch time

I was up in my room still thinking about jean when the maid called me out for lunch

"I'll be there in a minute" I said, she nodded and left

I got up, checked my reflection on the mirror, I was happy it didn't show that I cried, I applied some powder and left.

I met Jean and Jake already seated on the large silver table with 12 silver chairs.

I sat close to Jean, I saw sadness in her eyes when she stared at me and I smiled.

I missed her company

I'm gonna apologize after dinner.

I couldn't help myself, I was literally drooling on Dave who was occasionally staring at Jean.

Why?

Now's not the time to be jealous

Jean ate faster, finished up and went upstairs I hurriedly finished too and caught up to her

"Jean" I led and ran towards her

"Yeah" she slightly smiled

"Can we talk" I said and she nodded

We walked into her rooms and I got surprised at the colour and size

"All blue, how did you do it" I asked in amazement

"I'm glad that you're talking to me and Dave's the one responsible"She smiled

Dave?

Damn, why her!

"Where's Kate" I asked

"She's with Ben" she said

"A cat and dog together, no way" I said

"I was so surprised too but it was all Jake's idea to teach them how to stay together without fighting"she said

Impossible

" Jean, about, well, am sorry about everything"I said staring at the floor

"No problem, I forgave you before you even asked" she said and that brought a smile to my face

I was trying to resist hugging her but i gave up

I hugged her like never before, almost in tears

"I missed you" I said

"Me too but one more thing"  said

"What is it" I asked

"Please let me go, I can't breath" she said in a funny voice

I quickly left her,I don't want her to die

"I'm sorry" I said

"Its okay with the apologies, gist me" she said

"About what"I asked

"We have been dived for almost a year, so tell me something" she said

"That's a very long time" she said and we laughed

"You're in love" she caught me off guard

"That's not true and how did you know" I said

"I have been your best friend since childhood, I know you more than you know your self and I can see it in your eyes "she said with a wink

No way!

"Who is he?" Asked

"Who?" I asked

"Don't play dumb with me" she said and gave me a light slap on my hand

"OK"I breathed in

"It's Dave"I blurted out

I love Dave,  i know it's not a crush but real love

I saw that he expression on her face changed again

I hope everything is alright.
