NAINA KUMARI

I heard my intercom ring, so I picked it up.

"Hello!"

"Naina, come to my office."

"Okey, sir."

Kunwar sa asked me to present at his cabin. I'm hella scared. Why's he calling me? What brother Puneet has told him? I gathered my all courage to face him. In some moments I make my way to his cabin.

I knocked on his door and I heard his voice so I get in. Puneet sir was sitting at Kunwar Sa's opposite chair. He neither moves nor looks back. I mustered my all courage and spoke.

"Sir. You called out to me?" I asked.

"Puneet, you can leave now." I heard him kicking brother Puneet out of his cabin. but, Why? He is my one and only lifesaver of mine. And Kunwar Sa wants him to go.

I made a sad face but instantly wipe it when Kunwar Sa's eye's met mine.

"Why? If I stay here, then what will go wrong?" He opposed.

"I said go. Don't argue with me." He said in his as always cold tone.

"GO." Emphasis on the word Kunwar Sa showed him the door and said a little bit loud from earlier.

Reluctantly brother Puneet get up and our eyes met. I pleaded with him with my eye's not to go but he just looked down showing that he is helpless. He left closing the door behind him leaving me all alone in the lion's den.

"Hmm. So I heard that you want half a day's leave. Why do you go to Puneet to ask for leave instead of me?"

He asked me leaning more into his chair. And I gulped hard lacking words. I'm doomed. What shall I say now?

Naina, you are trapped very well today, now no one can save you from this trouble.

"Sir, as you know that I'm afraid of you. So I couldn't dare to ask you for a leave." I said looking down and playing with my fingers.

"Okey! Then tell me the reason for your leave?" He clasped his palms together placing his elbow on the table. And then placed his chin on that.

"Sir, I can't tell you the reason. Please don't ask." I stressed the word Please with a pleading look.

"Okey, I'll respect your privacy. But what about your project? You have to submit it today. Do you remember that?" He asked raising his left brow.

"Yes, sir. I remember well. You don't have to worry about that, I'll mail that to you, from home." I told him.

"From your home?" He sighed after asking.

"Is this leave really important." I nodded looking down.

And I heard him groan. So I lift my gaze to look at him. And I found him looking at his laptop.

"Okey, you can take a half day's leave. But don't forget to mail me." He said still looking at his laptop screen.

What? Does he really agree to give me leave? Wow!! It's really hard to digest. But, still, I'm happy that he agreed.

Thanking him, I made my way to my desk and called brother Puneet to inform him that I get succeeded in my mission.

Kunwar sa had called me before the mechanic came. I'm worried thinking about just one thing that Kunwar sa would not have seen me in the camera. Would he?

That Devil had assured me saying that he would take care of everything. He won't let him know about my secret until I want. But how can I believe in his words? As he's not my friend but my foe. Why on the earth does he want to help me?

After sending the mail to Kuwar Sa with Sam's Laptop I lay down to take a nap.

The continuous sound of my phone ringtone disturbed me. I blinked my eyes and searched for my phone. When I get it I looked at the Screen.

And it shows Kunwar Sa is calling me.

I'm doomed....

Why he is calling me at this time? Is everything fine or did he find out something about me??

I put the phone near my ear after swiping the answer button. At first, I greeted him in our traditional way.

"Naina, don't cook dinner today"

Why? Is he again going to have dinner from outside? With whom???Rasiya???

"Why so?" I asked.

"I will bring food from outside while coming back. I'm craving it for a long time." He said.

"If you're craving so terribly, you may go and have something from outside. I won't mind." I said.

"No, I want to enjoy the meal with you only. Leave this useless conversation and wait for me. I believe you're gonna love that too." He said in a cheerful tone.

"Okey, I'm waiting for you," I said with a smile even knowing that he can not see me.

"Okey bye!" Saying that he cut the call.

What happened to him all of a sudden? Why does he want to have dinner with me that too outside food? I know why he's bringing it home instead of taking me there. As he thinks, I'm not worth visiting there. Huhh! And what can I expect from him?

In his eyes, I'm not worthy of being his wife. He's tolerating me only because of Pitaji and Maa sa. Otherwise, he would not have let me live with him under the same roof.

At 9 o'clock he came back from the office with some parcels. And I have served the all food on the table. After freshening up he joined me.

"Have some, and tell me how's it?

He said smiling widely.

I tried and put one spoon of food inside my mouth. I chewed it and yeah it taste Amazing.

"How's it?" He asked me curiously as if he made all this.

"Yeah, it's good," I said simply.

"Only good?" He made a sad face and asked.

I smiled but he can't see my smile so I said. "It's very tasty."

"Exactly, I wanted to hear something like this." With a wide smile, he said gleefully.

"Naina, what do you do here all day alone?"

His sudden question caught me off guard.

I feel like lack words. What should I say now??

"Why're you asking this all of a sudden?" I asked instead of answering his question.

"Just like that. Then tell, what do you do all day?" He again asked me.

"What do I do?" I look up, "Cleaning the whole house, washing your clothes and mine, cooking for me as well as for you. And then the rest of the time I watch TV and sometimes have some rest." I look down at him after finishing.

"Ohh!!" He exclaimed.

"Then you must be getting bored being alone? Right?" He again asked. What's wrong with him? Why he is behaving so weirdly today?

"Huhh!!! Yeah. Yeah. Sometimes I feel like this." I said.

"So you can do one thing. Why don't you go on a tour? Go to your village. It's a long time since you haven't met with them. Pay a visit to them. They will also become happy seeing you. And you'll also feel good meeting with them after a long time."

Huhh!!

What does he want now? What the hell is playing in his brain? What he's up to doing? Why does he want to send me to my hometown?

"I don't understand one thing, why do you want to send me to my hometown all of a sudden?" I asked suspiciously.

"No, no. You misunderstand me. I'm just simply saying that It's been a long time since you came here. So I was thinking that, if you stay someday at your place then you feel better." He said.

"I don't want to go anywhere. I want to stay here only."

I said clearly that I don't want to go anywhere so that he won't insist on me further.

"Okey, if you don't wanna go then I won't insist on you." He said simply having his food.

"Then??"

"Then??" I also repeated.

"How's the lock? Is this okay?" He asked.

"Yeah." I gave him a short reply.

After finishing our dinner he headed toward his room and I went to wash the used plates.

After cleaning the kitchen I tip-toed to his room and peeped inside lifting my veil to my head. I roamed my eye's in every corner and found the room empty. Maybe he's in the restroom.

I stealthily entered his room and searched for his phone.

I want to know if the devil has really done something, or if he has fooled me. I want to know did I get caught in the camera. Has my truth been exposed to him already? Ohho!

I'm so scared now.

Finally, I found it on his study table. I took it and there he has a security lock on it. Fingerprint lock.

Ughh!!!

Suddenly I heard the sound of unlocking the door knob. And I froze in my place.
