The next day

Justin woke up by a continuous ring at his doorbell

"Come on,let me sleep in peace"

Justin lazily turned to the other side of his bed putting his pillow on his head

The door bell became even louder than before,as if it trying to tell him to wake up

"Ughhh,who is it?"

Justin yelled and later realised

"Oh God,am so tired that I forgotten that I have a soundproof room"

Justin sheepishly stood up from his bed and dragged his lazy body to the door

He opened it and his eyes immediately caught Jenny

"What happened to you?"

Jenny asked

"Oh hey babe"

Justin said resting on the door

"Hey to you too"

"Why did you come here so early?"

Justin eyes became even heavier

"I need your opinion"

"On what?"

Justin whined

"On my speech"

"What speech?"

"My speech for the election tomorrow, since you told me not to back out,I have a lot to do,so I need your help"

"Please babe,let me sleep for some hours, then I will listen to your speech"

"No Justin, listen to it now"

"Why are you bothering me? Can't you bother Stella instead?

"I already tried that,but she is a sound sleeper"

"Ughhh, Jenny, there is absolutely no way am..........

"Please boo"

Jenny quickly wrap her arms around him

"Please, it's not even that early, it's just six o' clock"

"Jenny, it's not that I don't want to listen to you, but I can't, you woke me up so early in the morning, and I get cranky if I don't get enough sleep"

"But it will only take a minute, please...

"But Jenny.....

"Please Justin"

Jenny pleaded

"Jenny,let me tell you this.....

"Please baby"

Jenny said with an adorable puppy dog eyes

Justin stared at her beautiful eyes for a while

"Ugh.... how can I say no to those beautiful eyes"

"Yay"

Jenny pecked him on his lips and sat on his bed

Justin lazily layed down on his bed and hoped he doesn't fall asleep

"Justin,I need your full attention"

"Sure"

Justin said

"Please sit up"

"Ughhh"

Justin sat up with frustration

"So,I spent so much time writing this speech,and I hope you like it"

"Yeah"

Justin said softly trying to be awake

"So here it goes.......... Good day ladies and gentlemen, I am Jenny Maxwell, here to fulfill my duties and become the class president this school has ever seen.......... Justin.....how is that?"

Justin closed his eyes and fell in a deep sleep immediately on his palms

"Justin....are you even listening to me?"

Jenny yelled

Without even listening, Justin freely let go of his body and it's landed on Jenny's shoulder

"Justin..... wake up"

Jenny whispered to his ear

"Justin.... sweetheart,wake up"

Jenny whispered again

"Justin, you can't sleep here, if you want to sleep, sleep on the bed...... after listening to my speech"

Jenny said

When she realised that Justin isn't going to wake up, she just decided to let him rest

She sighed and placed Justin on the bed

"Fine sleep,but tomorrow I won't take it easy with you"

Jenny said and watched Justin sleep

Maddie waited impatiently for Katie to come back and give her the information,but it's taking longer than usual

"Gosh, where is this girl,she ought to be here, she is taking forever"

"Sorry,am late"

Katie said running inside the room

"What took you so long?"

"Oh nothing"

She replied nervously

"Here is the book Maddie"

Maddie collected the book from her, and opened it

"Are you sure it's the one?"

Maddie asked

"Of course, I've never failed you, these are exactly the question that will come out in the exam"

"Oh good, if this turns out to be correct,I will pass the exams"

"Yes Maddie"

Katie replied and waited for Maddie

"What are you waiting for?"

Maddie asked after realising it

"Um.... Maddie, you promised me something after giving you this"

"Oh right!!, hold on"

Maddie went to her closet and brought out a box

"Here you go"

Maddie gave her the box

"Thank you Maddie"

Katie happily collected the box from her

She opened the box and checked herself,a smile formed on her face after seeing it

"Thank you again, Maddie"

"Yeah yeah, it's not a big deal,if there's money, you can do anything"

Maddie sat down on the bed

"I just wish I could do the same for the election tomorrow"

"What do you mean Maddie? Just like every year you are going to win"

"No am not,I didn't prepare for this, I'm sure Jenny did, and it's a must I become president"

Maddie said studying her well polished nails and immediately thought of an idea

"Katie?"

"Yes Maddie"

"Are you the one asking questions for the campaign this year?"

"Well, I'm not sure,last year I did it,but it's not my turn this year''

"Oh shït!!"

Maddie muttered

"But.......if the person asking the questions got hurt or sick this year,I can be of replacement "

"Replacement?"

Maddie thought

"But that can happen.....

"Yes it will"

Katie stared at her confusedly

"How?"

"We just have to make you the replacement,then after that,face one of my plan will be completed"

"Face one? Are you planning something?"

"Yes I am, but I will need your help with it"

Katie beamed a smile

"Okay, what should I do?"

"You just have to do one simple thing"

"And that is?"

"You have to steal Jenny's diary"

Maddie smirked

"Diary?"

Katie arched

"Yes, Jenny has offended me, first she took Justin away from me,now she wants to be the president, impossible,I will have to get her out of the way first"

"But what about Justin? Won't he get in the way"

"Absolutely not, this election is about Jenny not Justin,so he won't get in my way"

"Okay, but why do you need Jenny's diary?"

Katie asked

"Gosh Katie, you ask so many questions.....if you must know,that diary contains all the darkest secrets of her and she also writes all her ideas in there, so I will have to steal that book"

"Okay,but if you don't mind me asking,how did you know all this?"

"Are you really surprised Katie? You are not the only giving me information, I have ears everywhere"

Maddie smiled deviously

"Wow Maddie, that's impressive"

"I know as always, Jenny will lose again"

Maddie laughed evilly and remembered something

"But who will help me steal it?"

She asked

Maddie stared at Katie who held the box in her hand tightly

She walked towards her and held her shoulders

"You are going help me steal it"

Maddie said

Katie stared at the floor nervously,she doesn't want to steal it

"Don't worry you won't get caught,I promise you"

"I don't know Maddie"

"Come on,I trust you way more than anybody,I want you to do it, and I will give you anything you ask"

Katie rose up her head

"Anything?"

"Yes anything"

Maddie took the box from her and stared at it

"This phone I bought for you won't be as amazing as the one that I will give you"

Maddie said gazing at the iPhone 12 pro max

"Just think of anything you want and I will do it for you"

"You sure?"

"Have I ever failed you?"

Maddie said tossing the phone from one hand to another

"If you like this phone, you will like the one I will do next if you steal Jenny's diary"

Katie smiled and thought of the things she could ask from Maddie apart from the phone she bought for her

"Alright Maddie, I'll do it"

"Good you've made the right choice"

Maddie beamed

"Good, now watch out Jenny, you won't like What's coming in your way"

She laughed happily

Justin woke up and saw Jenny staring at him while asleep

They smiled at each other right immediately they caught their sights

"I knew I saw something beautiful"

Justin said

"Good morning"

"Good morning babe"

Justin said

"What are you doing here?"

"Don't you remember,I came here this morning and.....

"Oh yes"

Justin remembered

"Well, now that you are here"

Justin pulled her closer to himself and hugged her

They both embraced each other still on the bed

"I love you"

Justin said still hugging her

"Love you more"

Jenny smiled and Justin kissed her on her forehead

They both stayed in their arms for some while
