Three days later

"Now you get the equation, Justin"

Jenny asked Justin after explaining to him like a million times

"Yep, I finally got it, am gonna A's maths"

"Oh thank God, am tired of tutoring you, you are impossible, I need a break"

"You are right, I need a break"

"No, I said I need a break"

"Did you? It's kinda sound like you said I need a break"

"No no no, I said I need a break, I've been tutoring you for the past four hours and I need a break, am so stressed out"

"No, I've been listening to you tutoring me for the past four hours, so I have done more than you"

"What have you done? All you did was to sit there and watch"

"Yeah, that's so stressful, I wonder the work you did that made you complain about being tired"

"Ughhh, I'm done with you Justin, you are so annoying"

Jenny groaned

"Am I? Am I?"

"Yes you are, you are way more annoying than the devil, gosh, I wonder how your mother had to keep up with you all your life, she must be complaining every second"

Justin stared at her for a while

"You know my mother passed away"

Justin blurted

Jenny sat upright and gasped, she forgot about that

She stared at Justin who had his face on the floor

"Oh Justin, I'm so sorry I forgot about that......

"It's okay, you were just frustrated"

Justin smiled

He does get better so easily

"Am sorry Justin, it's just came out of my mouth"

"I said it's okay pumpkin"

Justin smiled

They both were silent for a while until jenny decided to break it

"Justin, if you don't mind me asking, how did your mother die again?"

Jenny asked and thought he would just ignore the question

Justin didn't hesitate to answer

"It was on a rainy day, I was just three years old, my dad came back home from a business trip after two years"

Justin paused for a while

"After that, my mom put me to sleep so I didn't quite know what was going on, but I woke up from a loud noise, immediately I tried to walk and see where the noise was coming from, but unfortunately I saw my parents arguing right in front of me, I tried to call them but they weren't listening to me"

"And I don't know what I was thinking I foolishly went out and I fell, I couldn't move an inch, I tried crying for help but my parents still were arguing and all that I could see what nothing"

"I woke up in the hospital and then I realized that my mom save my life from a moving truck"

Justin said and tried to control his tears

"Am so sorry"

"After two years, my dad married a scumbag"

"A scumbag?"

"My dad married another woman immediately"

"Oh"

"Yeah, she is a scumbag, she didn't like Jessica and I ever since she met us, she was like the opposite of my mother; mean, dumb, ugly, selfish, witch-like...

Jenny chuckled....."wow all that for her, she must be a nightmare"

"She is a nightmare, the worst part is that she had a son, another scumbag"

Justin said and Jenny giggled

"But eventually she changed her attitude, she said she wants to act like a mother to us, but I still don't like her"

Justin said

"Wow, I never knew all these happened to you"

"Nah, I forgot about it anyway"

Justin said and Jenny smiled

"So tell me about your story"

"My story?"

Jenny arched her brow

"Yeah, I told you to mine so tell me yours"

"My story is complicated, but I guess you will understand"

Jenny said and Justin moved closer to show more interest

"My family is upside down, I don't understand it, especially my parents, I grew up confusingly"

"My life used to be perfect, my parents used to be in love with each other more than anything, I thought that they were happy with their relationship, I thought they loved each other but it was all a pretense, after a while, I started noticing my parents were acting unusual"

"They were always arguing, but anytime I walked in their conversation, they change the subject and pretended as nothing happened, sometimes I see my mother crying and anytime I asked her what's wrong, she will always tell me that is nothing"

"All these have been happening for the past two years until one day"..... jenny paused for a while....."I was just four years old when I saw my parents arguing, as usual, my mom complained why my dad always doubt her true intentions, so one day they fight got intense and I witnessed how my dad......how my dad......how he slapped my mother in the face"

Jenny said her words got soft

"My mother placed a charge on my dad for battering, but with the help of wealth and a very good lawyer, he got released immediately, then my parents just decided to get divorced, my dad took my custody while my mother took Jake's custody, we never saw each again"

Jenny said and sighed

"It's been fifteen years, I've forgotten about it just like you did"

Jenny smiled and Justin responded

"My dad loves my mother very much, but it's just his ego, I just wish I could see my mother just once"

Jenny said and sighed

"Am sorry"

Justin said

"It's okay"

Jenny smiled

"Since we've heard both of our stories, I guess we've known each other very well"

"Yep that's right"

"What's the time"

"Um.. 2 pm"

Jenny said after checking her phone

"I guess you know what that means"

"What does it mean?"

Justin secretly took one of his pillows and yelled

"PILLOW FIGHT!!!"

He hit jenny with the pillow

Jessica on her own was also studying for her exams, everyone was busy these days

She was on her studying in the library, without any interruption

She studied for two days and she was getting a headache

"Gosh, am so tired of studying"

Jessica muttered

"I should read a novel"

Jessica stood and picked a novel from the shelf

She stared at the back of the novel

"Tales of his majesty"

She muttered

She sat down and flipped on the pages

Her eyes searched every word of the novel and she found it amusing

At that time, Jake entered the library not to study but to look for his favorite novel he has been reading for the past two days

He search the entire shelf but didn't find anything

"Where is it? I left it here earlier"

Jake said but Jessica heard him

"Hey Jake"

Jessica whispered

Jake turned around and saw Jessica......"hey Jessica"

"Shhh, we are in the library"

Jessica said and smiled

"Oh my bad"

He sat next to her

"What are you doing here?"

Jake asked

"I came here to study"

"Oh that's cool"

"What are you doing here?"

Jessica asked

"Well, I come here whenever am bored to read a novel, and it looks like you are reading mine"

"Oh sorry, this novel is so interesting"

Jessica said

"But you can have it anyway"

"No, you seem more interested in this novel than I do, I think you should read it"

"No, you were reading this before, so you should continue"

"I insist, ladies first"

"No, I can't...fine let's just read together"

"Oh okay, sure"

Jake nervously said and they both drafted to the novel

Jake really can't concentrate on the novel when his love is sitting right next to him

He tried so hard to concentrate but he couldn't, Jessica's beauty is like a spell to him

He just decides to leave and get his mind off her, but he needs to inform Jessica first

"Jessica?"

He called

"Yeah"

Jessica looked up and stared at him, and they both caught each other sights

They couldn't concentrate on anything else but their eyes

They stared at each other for a long time which made Jake even more nervous

"Jessica, I have something to tell you"

Jake said softly

"Yeah?"

Jessica said still staring

"I....I.... love you"

He said and quickly branched his lips to hers

He made sure he got contact with it, Jessica didn't quite respond to it, her facial expression was different

Jake inserted his lips deeper into hers, but Jessica still didn't respond

Jake finally noticed it and decided to release the kiss

He slowly removed his lips but Jessica pulled him and kissed him passionately

So she did want the kiss?

They both hungrily kiss roughly tasting their lips and catching their breath
