Extreme Almightiest Young Master Chapter 28

Driving his new car, Lin Feng looked at Ding Wan’er’s residence through the rearview mirror, and couldn’t help but reveal a faint smile. Before, he had thought about buying a car, but he no longer had the same interest in cars as he once did. The island was a magical place; on one occasion, a few off-road vehicles rolled in, and he ended up being chased and fought until he managed to snatch a car and chase after them to kill. That experience was a hundred times more thrilling than any so-called street racing.

He hadn’t expected to buy a car just like that today, but it was good nonetheless, more convenient to get around.

Just then, Lin Feng’s phone rang. It was a call from Leng Mei, surprisingly telling him that there’d be another French class tomorrow afternoon and that he should prepare for it...

Lin Feng readily agreed. Being a teacher, especially a university teacher, felt pretty good.

The car wasn’t going very fast as Lin Feng drove along, and when he reached the one-third mark of his journey, he suddenly noticed a group of people chasing another person who was sprinting wildly. As he drove past in a flash, he unexpectedly recognized the person being pursued, someone no one else could have possibly recognized so clearly—it was Li Yong, the student he had asked to stand up during his class.

Run, run fast, run like hell.

Li Yong was using all his strength to run. Today was incredibly frustrating; he had gone out to buy some stuff and ended up being chased through several streets by more than twenty hoodlums. He was running until he ended up trapped in an alley. Usually, he wouldn’t bat an eye at a few hoodlums, but more than twenty was a different concept altogether. With so many hands, someone might sneakily stab him. These gangsters, who doesn’t carry a knife?

"Friends, we have no past grudges, and no recent quarrels. You must have mistaken me for someone else," said Li Yong as he found himself trapped in the alley with no way to continue running. He was panting heavily, looking at the twenty-plus thugs opposite him. He was nervous, that was for sure, but he put on a tough front and asked as if he were a veteran street fighter.

"Damn, you... you can really run... huh, you... go on... run, run. Keep running and I’ll break your legs, see how you ******* run then," panted a young man with dyed yellow hair, speaking viciously. He was the little leader of this group, known as Brother Huangmao.

"Boss, take a sip of water first. He can’t get away today anyway, we can slowly deal with him. It’d be a pity to strain ourselves because of him," Xiao Mao, Huangmao’s lackey, produced a bottle of water from his bag and handed it to Huangmao, delivering a small flattery. Then, he also lit a cigarette for Huangmao.

After drinking the water and smoking the cigarette, Huangmao felt his strength returning slightly. He exhaled long rings of smoke while looking at Li Yong, now cornered.

"Li Yong, right? You wouldn’t be unaware of why we’re looking for you, would you?"

Li Yong shook his head without speaking. He was also at a loss, thinking to himself how he ended up being chased by a bunch of people for no apparent reason.

"You ******* playing dumb with me? Let me remind you, you hit our people a few days ago. Today, the Boss personally brought us here to find you. You get it now?" Huangmao snapped, holding an iron pipe in his hand, pointing and cursing at Li Yong.

"Friends, isn’t there some kind of misunderstanding here?" Li Yong replied, though by now he understood—it was the incident from a couple of days ago. Damn, this was bad news.

"Misunderstanding my ass. Who the **** has a misunderstanding with you?" Huangmao spat out a puff of smoke at Li Yong, cursing, "Would we be confronting you directly, calling you out by name, if it were just a misunderstanding? Are you ******* brain-dead?"

"Did you hear what our Boss just said? Who the **** would bother misunderstanding with you? Apologize to our Boss, Brother Huangmao, right now, and thank him while you’re at it. You’re still ******* standing there like an idiot; who the hell do you think you are?" Huangmao’s lackey was yelling, barking at Li Yong with borrowed power.

"The situation that day was like this: your guy was harassing my classmate Wang Kai’s girlfriend. I went over to help mediate, and then your guy started getting physical, and the situation escalated out of control..." Li Yong’s only hope now was to explain things as best as he could, to lessen the severity of their treatment towards him.

Hearing Li Yong’s words made Huangmao even angrier. He opened his mouth and cursed, "You *******, do you even know who you beat up? You attacked Brother Bao’s nephew. Even if he really dragged her to bed, you could only stand by and watch. But you had the nerve to raise your hand, and you even hit Brother Bao’s nephew. Are you asking for a death wish?"

"Look at you, big and bulky, and yet so brainless. If it wasn’t for knowing you can fight, Brother Huangmao wouldn’t have needed to bring over twenty brothers to deal with you today; giving you this much face is already very generous, get it?" One of the guys, with obvious injuries on his face and a hostile look towards Li Yong, was indeed one of the people who got beaten up by Li Yong that day.

Damn, show weakness and people bully you. With things having reached this point, Li Yong knew there was no way for a peaceful resolution. Escaping was impossible, and the way the other side was talking was intolerable, as if he deserved to be mistreated by them. Who is afraid of whom? Even a clay Buddha gets angry sometimes; and besides, he was a man through and through.

Now angered, he glared and shouted, "Damn it, I was the one who hit them, so what? Everyone got what they deserved, and it was only right that they got hit."

"Wow, such a temper. No matter how tough you act, it’s useless. Brother Bao has spoken, he wants at least an arm broken, so today we must break one of your arms," Huangmao declared, straight to the point, looking squarely at Li Yong.

"Did you hear that? One arm. Do you want to do it yourself, or shall our Boss help you along with the brothers?" the sycophantic lackey said with a shiver of excitement.

What, hearing their words, Li Yong was shocked, knowing things were definitely not going to end well. But if they were to break his arm, how could that be acceptable? He wasn’t so worried about himself, but if his family found out, there would be hell to pay.

"You think Brother Huangmao is joking with you, huh, kid? Today, you’re going to learn just how tough I am. Beat him up, and if he dares to resist, break his other arm too," said Huangmao, and with a wave of his hand, he signaled his henchmen to move in.

Although Li Yong often got into fights, facing so many people, some of whom had weapons, he was trembling inside, his mind in disarray and not sure what to do.

Just then, he heard the sound of car brakes, followed by a voice saying, "Li Yong, what are you doing here?"

Huh? Who’s that?

The thugs, about to rush forward, all stopped when they heard someone, as Li Yong was in a dead-end alley, and they weren’t afraid of him escaping.

Everyone turned to look back, and Li Yong was also stunned—looking past the crowd, he could vaguely see a car at the entrance of the alley, someone getting out of the car, but he couldn’t see who it was.

Who is it? This voice sounds somewhat familiar...

Lin Feng had just finished talking to Leng Mei on the phone and passed by here, seeing Li Yong being chased. He remembered the tall, big student from his French class, someone had mentioned his name before, Li Yong.

So Lin Feng made a U-turn and drove back, easily finding Li Yong cornered by people here.

"Li Yong, it’s late. Why aren’t you going back to school? What are you doing here?" Lin Feng asked Li Yong as he walked towards him.

"Teacher Lin, you... this... a couple of days ago, I helped Wang Kai deal with a few thugs, and they’ve come looking for trouble today," Li Yong said helplessly, glancing with his eyes at the thugs on Huangmao’s side. Thinking to himself, in such a situation, he wished he could leave, but there was no escape.

"Teacher Lin, you better leave quickly. It’s too dangerous here. I’ll be back soon," Li Yong thought for a moment, a real man should be responsible for his own actions, he didn’t want to implicate an innocent person like Lin Feng. Although he would be at a disadvantage fighting against more than twenty thugs, he felt that if he desperately ran, he could get away with fewer injuries. With his physical capability, there was a chance to break out, and he could figure out what to do afterwards.

"Damn, boss, check it out, that’s a nice car, brand new, isn’t it? It hasn’t even been licensed yet," a lackey pointed at Lin Feng’s car and said to Huangmao.

"Wow, another one showed up, and it’s a ****** teacher. Li Yong, you’re ****** impressive, even bringing your teacher here to protect you, huh? Do you ****** think this is some schoolyard scuffle, that bringing a teacher will do you any good? Haha..."

"This is fine, neither of you is leaving. Both stay here. But that car of your teacher is pretty nice, not even licensed yet—perfect for collateral since you injured our guys and owe compensation for medical expenses. Before the compensation is paid, that car is going to sit here as security," Huangmao eyed Lin Feng, who continued to walk their way, cursing to himself, he wasn’t a student, and here he was, dealing with a ****** teacher.

But the arrival was also good; the car was a nice one, and he thought he might as well borrow it to enjoy for a few days.

"Did you hear what our boss said? That Teacher, or whatever you are, just hand over the car like a good boy, and decide for yourself—break your arm or let us do it," chimed in that lackey, speaking before anyone else could. Huangmao was pleased, suddenly remembering that this lackey was called Xiao Mao. Although he hadn’t been with him for long, he was sharp and sensible, not bad, the guy had prospects.

"I’ll take responsibility for whatever happens. Let my teacher leave, it’s not his business," Li Yong shouted in desperation, hoping Lin Feng would leave before anything started. He didn’t want Lin Feng to be in danger, once again urging him to go.

"Teacher Lin, you need to get out of here quickly, don’t come any closer," Li Yong urged. Why was Teacher Lin still walking this way? Didn’t he see the situation here? Even calling the cops would be better!

"Hmm." Li Yong was doing alright, a boy with a sense of duty, always thinking of others at crucial moments. No wonder he would get into trouble with gangsters for the sake of a classmate.

"F*ck, who the hell do you think you are, thinking you can just tell someone to leave and they’ll leave? Neither of you is going anywhere. Quit the chatter and get a move on, break an arm and leave the car as collateral; then we can call it even for today, and I can go report back," Huangmao flicked away his cigarette butt with a snap, ready to make his move.

"Get out of the way. I need to take my student back to school," said Lin Feng, eyeing the group of petty thugs blocking his way, with a slight frown on his face.

"F*ck, are you really dumb or just pretending to be? You don’t even recognize Brother Huangmao, you looking to die or what?" Xiao Mao, upon hearing this, threw the bottle he was holding down at Lin Feng’s feet and cursed at him.
