Chapter 86: Chapter 86

As they continued northward, Du You was still in no rush, always on the lookout for powerful dinosaur groups on the road.

However, Du You hadn’t seen a Tyrannosaurus Rex on his journey. He didn’t know if they simply weren’t in the area or if his luck was just bad. Regardless, the gains from this journey were quite substantial.

Apart from a large amount of material, Du You had amassed over six hundred Crystal Coins.

On their journey, the biggest gain was from the nearby lake which required a full three days to clear. After those three days, Du You finally reached the northern Wing Dragon Mountain Range, a name he personally coined.

Just upon his arrival, Du You immediately spotted Pterosaurs flying back and forth. There were large ones, small ones, a variety of kinds, familiar and unfamiliar - there were simply too many of them.

Even Xiaozi didn’t dare fly at high altitude anymore, choosing to fly close to the tops of the forest. Once she encountered a large group of Pterosaurs, Xiaozi would instantly descend to hide in the forest below.

Most of the Pterosaurs here were of Level 2, and Level 1 Pterosaurs were rare - most of these had not yet reached adulthood.

Similarly, there were not many Level 3 Pterosaurs here, which suggests a rather balanced distribution.

These Pterosaurs were not always peaceful with each other, often fighting for various reasons - perhaps over food, territory, or seemingly just fighting without cause.

During the worst times, Du You saw two Pterosaurs falling from the sky. They hadn’t died from the fall, but the carnivorous dinosaurs on the ground quickly discovered them and devoured them.

The closer they got to the mountains, the denser the population of Pterosaurs became. Upon reaching the foot of the mountain range, Du You observed an overwhelming number of Pterosaurs. "No wonder they said the north is the most dangerous because this is practically a Pterosaur nest."

Du You felt as though he had stumbled upon a beehive, the dense swarm of bees very similar to the current situation. Someone who suffered from agoraphobia entering this place would certainly faint on the spot.

"Some people are really fearless." Du You looked up to find somebody already in action.

In the air, a ripple flashed and several Pterosaurs crashed down, seemingly attacked by something. Du You noticed that the person who had started the fight used some sort of camouflage technique to avoid the Pterosaurs’ detection.

In such a Pterosaur nest, there had to be at least twenty to thirty Pterosaur eggs. At this rate, the rented spatial pocket would be filled after a few rounds. Easy earnings with Crystal Coins, Du You thought, shaking his head.

Looking to the other side, a summoning-type individual was waving their hands nonstop, summoning a vast amount of flying birds.

Even though they were no match for the Pterosaurs, they could constantly replenish their numbers and engage in a deadly battle with the Pterosaurs. They managed to wipe out a nest of Pterosaurs after countless birds died, which lined up with Du You’s approach—bold and relentless.

However, when it came to dealing with the numerous airborne Pterosaurs, Du You wasn’t particularly skilled and couldn’t learn to do so either.

"Let’s first find a suitable place. This place is too dense. If there’s too much commotion, it might provoke the attack from other nearby Pterosaurs." After some thought, Du You decided not to initiate anything here. Tʜe sourcᴇ of thɪs content ɪs 𝓷𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵•𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮•𝓷𝓮𝓽

Seeing Du You leaving relieved the others significantly. However, they still remained suspicious of one another.

After searching for a while, Du You finally found a suitable spot.

"This should be it. There are quite a few Pterosaurs here, but it’s isolated from the outside, so any big commotions shouldn’t matter. Eliminating some Pterosaurs here should be enough."

This place was a canyon and only on the outer part of it, so there weren’t too many powerful Pterosaurs.

Perhaps due to the safety of this location, the Pterosaurs lazing around here didn’t show much resistance. In the air, their numbers were small while the majority stayed in their nests.

Just then, Du You noticed that several people seemed interested in the canyon, as many were peeking around the area. Some were hiding in the grass, others behind rocks.

Du You too was hiding amongst a pile of rocks. Seeing those people, an idea sparked in Du You’s mind.

"Individual power is limited. If we cooperate, it’ll be easier to reach our goal."

With that thought, Du You took out his Plesiosaurus Throat Horn. "Didn’t expect it to come in handy."

Equipping his Plesiosaurus Throat Horn, Du You decided to use it. "Ladies and gentlemen, we are all here for the Pterosaurs in the canyon, aren’t we? Individual strength is weak. Why not unite? As long as we eliminate some Pterosaurs, I believe everyone can benefit greatly."

As soon as Du You spoke, everyone within a kilometer’s range heard his voice. Even though the voice wasn’t loud, everyone heard it clearly, which surprised many. Du You also chose not to hide his position, so upon hearing his voice, everyone found Du You’s location accurately.

Du You smiled and continued, "You all should know where I am. If you are interested in cooperating, come gather here." Du You decided to just organize everyone for the task.

Among the crowd, there were hesitant expressions, whereas a few quietly started to approach. Some, however, left the scene without intending to stay.

More people were still in wait-and-see mode. "What are you waiting for? This is a one-time opportunity."

Du You called out again, and fewer people were observing. They were starting to gather around Du You.

Before long, over thirty people had gathered around Du You. Everyone was on guard with each other, but there was no commotion. Seeing this, Du You finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"If you don’t wish to participate, please leave. We are about to begin the fight."

Du You said again. The people who were still observing immediately divided into two groups—one approached Du You, and the other left. They couldn’t help it; there were too many people gathered here.

If a fight broke out, they wouldn’t stand a chance. It would become dangerous then. Du You saw their choice and didn’t mind; after all, these people were more than enough. Among the three hundred who had come, he already had a tenth of them. His megaphone surprisingly worked well, attracting so many people instantly.

But to Du You’s surprise, he had still underestimated the place. In the end, he ended up with fifty people surrounding him, exceeding his expectations.
