The ground transformed instantly, trapping the horses’ legs in place. But the next moment, a wave of white light spread out, instantly clearing Du You’s Mucus Swamp.

"It’s a mage, a high-level one," Du You said. Nonetheless, he proceeded to relentlessly release the Mucus Swamp, launching ten swamps at once. Before they entirely unfolded, Xiaozi ignited them with a Thunder Light Orb.

"Damn it, poison!" These men were unaware of Du You’s tactic and obviously didn’t carry any antidotes with them. Even with high levels and strong resistance, it wouldn’t end well for them in the long run.

"Keep attacking, leave the detoxification process to us," a few of the mages in the rear shouted.

The mages then took out a bottle and began casting magic. Despite the distance, Du You could tell that these mages had the capability of neutralizing his toxin.

"I’ll handle the mages." Xi Qianxue shouted, creating a high-speed rotating wall of ice rings that she launched straight at the mages. The mages were stumped, not expecting Xi Qianxue to be able to cast her spell from such a long range.

With no other choice, they had to stop their magic, conjuring defensive spells instead to block the slicing ice rings. While they waited, their soldiers’ situation worsened.

"Don’t worry, I won’t fear them as long as they are not heavy cavalry." Du You reassured, releasing a Holy Light Arrow Array. Dozens of arrows flew out in succession, directly towards the charging cavalries.

The cavalries wore armor that did not cover their entire bodies, only shielding some vital parts. The elite light cavalry didn’t overly cover themselves; it wasn’t an issue while fighting ordinary troops. However, against casters like Du You, their disadvantages were glaring.
