Chapter 1916: Chapter 1916
This isn’t a normal siege, because they didn’t bring any siege weapons at all. At the forefront are those powerful entities. Seven-tier knights rise into the sky, engaging in a fierce battle with the seven-tier powerhouses opposite.
Under the overwhelming attacks, the city walls below constantly tremble.
Although the walls were reinforced using special methods, these Undead aren’t very skilled at creation, and there are too few with intelligence. The reinforced walls aren’t very strong and were destroyed shortly thereafter.
However, neither side continued attacking; the strongest had already clashed. The eight-tier against eight-tier battle shattered the sky into pieces. Du You’s Knight Doppelganger had researched and mastered many special abilities.
Suddenly, the figure flashed, and in the blink of an eye, the Knight Doppelganger exhibited extreme speed, sacrificing the weapon in his hand to shatter the opponent completely. Collecting the opponent’s corpse, the Knight Doppelganger forcefully swung forward. "Attack, leave none of the upper class alive." Such is the style of the Knight Doppelganger.
High-level corpses can be evolved again after being brought back, saving the need to spend time on control.
As for the ordinary Undead, those who surrender are naturally accepted, and those who don’t surrender are inconsequential. In the functional buildings in the rear, numerous Undead are constantly being constructed, far surpassing ordinary Undead.
On the other side, another territory was also under attack by the White Bone Doppelganger. White Bone Doppelganger brought a huge group of eight-tier powerhouses. In one fell swoop, the opposing lone eight-tier didn’t even entertain thoughts of resistance and immediately chose to flee.
Eventually, White Bone Doppelganger intercepted him, forcing him to stay. There’s no way around it; in terms of speed, there’s no match for White Bone Doppelganger here.
Both sides simultaneously attacked, moving incredibly fast, thus the channel between was cleared in the shortest possible time. It only took a few days, with most of that spent on travel.
Large troops are following, but due to slower speed, can only keep running this way.
And at the front, the battle ended, and the two sides finally came into contact.
"Great, from now on, we can collaborate to a limited extent. Additionally, we can stage some theater at the border, have people perform here," said Du You’s White Bone Doppelganger.
The Knight Doppelganger didn’t speak, as they were fundamentally the same person, their thoughts aligning closely at proximity, unlike Du You’s true self and other entities.
Thus, in the eyes of the ordinary Undead, the two kings faced each other, exchanged a few cryptic words, and then separated. Leaving behind a portion of Undead at the border, all of them are low-level. Google seaʀᴄh 𝓷𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵✦𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮✦𝓷𝓮𝓽
Truth is, at their tier, such-level Undead are of no use.
The territories of the Doppelgangers are continuously expanding, and the number of underlings at the eighth-tier is gradually increasing. If they continue to expand the territory, it might attract the attention of some high-tier powerhouses.
Even though they’ve lost their sanity, integrating themselves into the world’s Law.
But without reaching the ninth-tier, complete fusion is unattainable, so there’s still a little thought. Some of the eighth-tier Undead have begun to interconnect, prompting Du You to avoid stimulating them much.
Some hidden eighth-tier guardians started leaving their territories, venturing elsewhere.
If someone observes closely, they’ll notice these guys either occupy some expansive areas or reside tightly between other eighth-tier powerhouses, separating territories directly.
On the surface, these individuals have no relations whatsoever.
For the world consciousness, recently, there have been many who don’t wish to integrate into the Law. Yet, the world consciousness only issues invitations without any changes, continuing this way.
It seems the abundance of invitations means each is offered less frequently. Thus, Du You’s Doppelgangers aren’t as troubled as before, as the harassment incidents decreased.
Perhaps they’ve adapted somewhat to this harassment.
As days pass, the Doppelgangers developing subsequently each expand their territories to the limit and begin developing in a fragmented manner. The whole world’s Undead is gradually being replaced by Du You’s Undead.
Du You manipulates bit by bit using the internal world’s identity. Earth’s consciousness slowly invades without being detected, highlighting the differences between these two world’s tiers.
The Undead World remains unchanged, with Undead battling each other everywhere as if nothing has changed.
But if this world’s consciousness were intelligent, it’d realize these killings are vastly different.
Du You exploits the simplicity of this world’s consciousness. Normally, except for seventh-tier and below, Undead engage in combat, devouring each other’s power to enhance themselves.
However, now most battles are between first to third-tier Undead. Besides, those killed are mostly native-born Undead, while Du You’s created Undead survive conflicts without dying, not even sustaining serious injuries, typically disengaging after a brief fight.
Before, once Undead started fighting, it was essentially relentless.
Now, this minority scenario becomes the majority, which is peculiar. Yet, the simple-minded world consciousness hasn’t noticed, nor does this world harbor intelligent beings to communicate with it.
Anyhow, the world is filled with performances, actors everywhere.
Throughout this process, the world’s interior is gradually replaced and consumed, even Du You outside senses the world’s shift. Despite lacking communication with its Doppelgangers, Du You can feel slight changes in that world’s aura, a familiar scent.
Perhaps the world consciousness is unaware, but Du You at this tier senses Earth’s emitted power, subtle and hard to detect without familiarity.
"It seems conquering this world is near, I wonder how far they can go," Du You eagerly anticipated his Doppelgangers. Initially, Du You prepared for the loss of several Doppelgangers.
Yet unexpectedly, not a single Doppelganger was lost, each elevated to such a level, truly beyond Du You’s expectations.
