Chapter 1519: Chapter 1519
As a Divine Power channeling skill that Duo places great emphasis on, the biggest prerequisite for using it is having an inexhaustible supply of Yuan Power. Therefore, the skill Duo values the most is his Dark Spirit Light.
In the early stages, Duo invested the most Crystal Coins in this skill and has now also gained an enhancement.
Dark Spirit Light: Absorbs the surrounding elements and combines them with one’s own Yuan Power to form Shadow Spirit Light Balls; each Light Ball can restore 15% of one’s own Yuan Power. The number of Light Balls is 10 + level/5 (rounded down). When the Light Balls are at full Yuan Power, they can continue to restore Yuan Power, which will directly merge into oneself to aid in recovery. (Level 61, 10 stars)
There is no change in the name of this skill and actually, not much change in the description either.
However, the previous direct use of the dark element has become a combination with one’s own Dark Yuan Power, otherwise the quality wouldn’t be sufficient. Without the power of Law, it would be impossible to reach the standard of Divine Power.
The restoration provided by each Light Ball has increased from 12% to 15%; six balls can now restore 90% of one’s own Yuan Power.
And as for the number of Light Balls, it can now reach a total of 22. After being fully absorbed, even without using them for recovery, one could sustain combat for a very long time. Moreover, after experimenting, Duo found that each Light Ball restores Yuan Power much faster than before.
Now it takes at most only one hour for each Dark Spirit Light to be created and for Yuan Power to totally recover.
Bear in mind that what is being restored now is not Magic Power, but Divine Power quality Dark Yuan Power; this rapid pace of recovery is even incredible to Duo. This is equivalent to restoring 15% of one’s own Yuan Power every hour.
Counting all together, one’s Yuan Power recovery reaches 330% per hour. In terms of ratio, it seems to be even higher than Lin Yucha’s skill recovery rate.
With such an abundant supply of Yuan Power, in combination with one’s own Yuan Power channel, one could practically be a perpetual motion machine in battle.
Before reaching tier seven, Duo couldn’t withstand prolonged combat due to insufficient stamina. But after reaching tier seven, it’s different, as Divine Spirit level Spiritual Power is virtually inexhaustible, allowing one to fight continuously without stop.
As long as the pressure does not exceed one’s limit of resistance, no amount of enemies can pose a threat.
Now, this set of skills has once again connected to form a perfect whole.
Next up is the use of skills on one’s own part. There is the Shadow Spirit Light Ball for attacking, which doesn’t need to be considered for the time being. Duo has been mainly focusing on his defensive skills, with the Shield Spell being the most crucial skill. Now, the Shield Spell has evolved into the Yuan Power Shield skill.
Yuan Power Shield: A shield is formed at will, with extremely strong defensive capabilities. The shield can defend against various types of attacks. When encountering attacks, it actively defends, capable of multi-point defense. It can be actively expanded and shape-shifted. The shield can be retained in a specific location; once Yuan Power is exhausted, the shield disappears. (Level 61, 10 stars)
With this skill, Duo finally feels that his safety is guaranteed. Thɪs chapter is updated by 𝔫𝔬𝔳𝔢𝔩~𝕗𝕚𝕣𝕖~𝙣𝙚𝙩
The Yuan Power Shield still resembles the prior version, slightly having a hint of black within the translucent shield — only now there is less black, yet it appears even more enigmatic, as if it could engulf someone upon sight.
The shield itself now possesses very powerful shape-shifting abilities and great elasticity. The hardness has improved, and the overall defensive capabilities have also notably increased. Duo even discovered that some weaker attacks would be rebounded by his shield.
This ability to rebound attacks had never appeared before.
Of course, the protective capabilities are even stronger now, and the shield can actively be expanded and shape-shifted. With Duo’s strength, fully extending the shield could even encompass a small asteroid without issue.
Automatic defense and multi-point defense still exist and are even more effective, although there has been no chance to test them yet.
What Duo didn’t expect the most was that the skill could now leave the shield in other places. For instance, if willing, he could simply add it to his Summoned Beasts, sparing himself the worry during combat.
Or say you’re fighting with others and are concerned about your territory being affected; you can first place a shield there and then fight without worry. This method of use is much more flexible than before.
But on closer thought, there doesn’t seem to be that many ways to use it. In any case, now that one’s defense has greatly improved, that’s a very positive sign for Duo, who now feels much safer as someone who fears death.
The last skill that received an improvement was unexpectedly Soul Devouring Demon Flame. Perhaps due to the abundance of Flame Law Crystals, along with Duo’s soul and the bonus from the Dark Law power, this skill was found to be easier to advance in tier.
Soul Devouring Demon Flame: Passive, adds Soul Devouring Demon Flame effect to all skills that do not reject the Dark Attribute. The Soul Devouring Demon Flame carries a burning effect, a soul-extinguishing effect, and fire power increases by 5% per level. It provides soul defense, possesses the power to destroy Laws and regulations, and the power against Light Attribute significantly increases. (Level 61, 10 stars)
After the improvement, Soul Devouring Demon Flame has become much more universally applicable; previously, it only applied to Dark Attribute magic, but now the effect can be added to any skill that does not reject Dark Attribute.
All of Duo’s skills do not reject the Dark Attribute; the only exception is bubbles, but that’s not a skill.
Then, Duo discovered that now his Summoned Beasts’ attacks also carry the effect of Soul Devouring Demon Flame. Even in Xiaozi’s Thunder and Lightning, although not visibly, the effect is genuinely there.
The strength varies; the more a Summoned Beast synergizes with this skill, the stronger the Soul Devouring Demon Flame it wields.
Duo can also actively choose to have certain skills not carry the Soul Devouring Demon Flame effect, as sometimes it might not be beneficial to have it present.
No, Duo found that there is one skill that cannot carry it—turns out the Disintegration Spell rejects all other Laws and powers, including dark power. It is only because Soul Devouring Demon Flame has advanced to tier seven that it forcibly carries a bit of the effect.
It is expected that once Duo’s Disintegration Spell advances, it will remain pure and not carry such abilities.
The fire effect has also greatly improved, and the soul-extinguishing effect has significantly increased the Soul Devouring Demon Flame’s power against the soul. Even with physical protection, an enemy might get affected if not careful.
The increase in fire power per level from 3% to 5% marks a substantial enhancement.
At the same time, the addition of Destruction Law and regulation effects is likely the reason this skill can now forcefully be added to the Disintegration Spell—this is a matter of mutual erosion and repelling.
The last addition is increased lethal power against the Light Attribute, as dark and light ultimately enjoy their opposition.
