Chapter 1356: Chapter 1356

Tertiary upgrades within a tier-six territory were not difficult to achieve for various tier-four structures, especially with a substantial supply of materials, thus the upgrade pace surpassed Du You’s expectations.

In just under a month, nearly every upgradable building had been upgraded. Once construction of the spaceport was complete, the overall development speed of the territory greatly exceeded its previous rate.

Land Armored Factory (Tier 5):

- Land Combat Tanks level 31-40: 300 units/month, full price 300 Yellow Crystal Coins each

- Bipedal Mecha level 31-40: 500 units/month, full price 200 Yellow Crystal Coins each

- Laser Tanks level 41-50: 100 units/month, full price 500 Blue Crystal Coins each

- Multifunctional Land Cannons level 41-50: 60 units/month, full price 800 Blue Crystal Coins each

Following the upgrade of the Land Armored Factory to tier five, the production of Land Combat Tanks jumped from one hundred to three hundred units, tripling the output, while the Bipedal Mecha increased by two hundred units—not doubled, but significantly faster nonetheless.

The newly added blueprints were deciphered by Du You’s own research staff.

Du You had tested the Laser Tanks. They fired with incredible speed and had strong piercing capabilities. Their only drawback was that they could only shoot in straight lines, not arcs. Within a certain range, they packed quite the punch.

The biggest advantage of Laser Tanks was their lightweight construction, making them very fast and nimble.

On the other hand, the Multifunctional Land Cannons were incredibly bulky and slow-moving, heavy for sure. Yet these land cannons were akin to small-scale war fortresses, equipped with an array of weapons, both for close combat and long-range engagements—extremely powerful.

They also possessed formidable anti-aircraft capabilities, exceptionally effective against aerial units. Although their cost was not as high as a tier-five Warship, in a direct confrontation, it’s possible that even the tier-five Warships would not match the land cannons. The only aspect in which the warships far surpassed these land cannons was their mobility.

Du You even wondered if the initial purpose behind the creation of the Multifunctional Land Cannons was specifically to counter warships.

Once the branch of the armed forces buildings were optimized, next were a few special-purpose structures. Firstly, mining equipment had to be enhanced; the territory Du You held had expanded, so updating the mining equipment was a necessity.

Mobile Miner (Tier 4):

- Capable of locating mineral planets or meteorites in space for mining.

- Equipped with level 30 mining robots, each miner can carry up to 100,000 robots for mining operations.

The Mobile Miners were upgraded from tier three to four. Although further enhancements were possible, Du You had no intention of continuing to upgrade them. Just like the Machine Gun Towers, they were only used for mining, and further upgrading would have been a loss.

The mining robots went from level 20 to level 30. Their combat capabilities didn’t increase much, becoming more of cannon fodder, but their mining and transport capabilities increased immensely, promising faster mining speeds in the future.

The number of robots each unit carried rose from ten thousand to one hundred thousand, a tenfold increase. Du You suspected if he created too many mining machines, the star system he occupied might run out of minerals in a very short time.

However, such concerns were for Ke Jisi to consider, not something Du You needed to worry about.

Ke Jisi had reportedly been communicating with the military, securing mining rights nearby and preparing to seek out new mineral planets.

Plasma Power Plant (Tier 5):

- Uses plasma as the energy source for power generation, which is then transformed into useable energy; power plants generate 500,000 units of energy.

The upgradation to tier five of the Plasma Power Plant could be said to be both the smallest and greatest change.

It seemed minor because, on the surface, there was virtually no major difference; the appearance remained much the same. The only change was that the inside plasma generator multiplied from one to ten, each one smaller in size, yet stronger in power generation.

Originally, one power plant generated 30,000 units of energy, but after the upgrade to ten generators, the increase wasn’t tenfold, rather it skyrocketed to 500,000 units. With just a few power plants upgraded, the energy for Du You’s territory was already sufficient.

Regrettably, such power plants could only be constructed within his own territory, and the planet he was in the process of transforming was still beyond his capabilities.

With that, all buildings had been upgraded at least once. Yet, Du You was not satisfied because his military training camp still needed further development. Since this building was easier to upgrade, it didn’t take Du You much time.

After collecting various materials over this period, roughly a month after the territory’s upgrade to tier-six, Ke Jisi successfully upgraded the military training camp to tier-six.

Military Training Camp (Tier 6):

- Omni Repairmen level 5: 8,000 people/month, full price 2 White Crystal Coins/person

- Medics level 5: 5,000 people/month, full price 3 White Crystal Coins/person

- Mecha Masters levels 5-60: 3,000 people/month, full price 20 Red Crystal Coins/person

- Spaceship Control Teams levels 5-60: 500 teams/month, full price 50 Red Crystal Coins/person

- Ground Weapon Control Instructors levels 5-60: 3,000 people/month, full price 10 Red Crystal Coins/person

- Mechanical Researchers level 5: 3,000 people/month, full price 5 Red Crystal Coins/person

- Biological Researchers level 5: 3,000 people/month, full price 5 Red Crystal Coins/person

- Ghost Warriors level 41-50: 500 people/month, full price 500 Blue Crystal Coins/person

The upgrade to tier-six of the military training camp once again significantly boosted training capabilities. The most substantial benefit, however, was that both Mecha Masters and Spacecraft Control Units could now wield the combat power of tier-six weapons.

Du You’s freshly produced Black Wind Main Battle Warships were finally more than just for show. Once deployed on the battlefield, they could display the prowess of a regular tier-six Warship, even one of a higher caliber.

From that point forward, Du You’s territory in the Star Ring universe was no longer a dispensable one.

And the Ground Weapon Control Instructors, which were not upgraded last time, had their capabilities rise exponentially with the upgrade to tier-six. Unfortunately, within his own territory, there were still no ground weapons that could reach tier-six, making it somewhat wasteful. Such weapon blueprints were not easily purchased, and Du You himself had no solution for now.

However, the newly added branches of the armed forces now finally lived up to the training camp’s level. Previously, the branches only had skill levels that exceeded the norm, and the personnel themselves were merely common humans at level five.

To Du You’s eyes, humans modified through such a process remained common humans.

Now the Ghost Warriors, although not high in level, were more heavily modified, which Du You observed could reach over level twenty. Coupled with their specialized equipment, they became quite formidable in combat. Thɪs chapter is updated by 𝔫𝔬𝔳𝔢𝔩⁂𝖿𝗂𝗋𝖾⁂𝔫𝔢𝔱

These warriors were not meant for direct combat but for stealth attacks. With their high-powered special sniper rifles, they could potentially deliver fatal threats to tier-five Mecha and cause significant damage to tier-five Warships.

Although somewhat inflexible and incapable of reaching outer space, they were powerful assassins on the ground.
