Chapter 1308: Chapter 1308

For the Undead, their course of action was astonishingly straightforward, with no need for extensive planning. After all, human emotional calculations were useless to them, and their suppression of power amplified to the extreme.

Next, in the surroundings of the land of chaos, some tier six Ghost Dragons and a few tier six Liches appeared, leading a great number of Bone Dragons and Dragon Tomb Guardians, along with some other low-level Undead Creatures, all marching mightily towards the center.

Although there were large gaps in their ranks, the commotion they caused was still significant.

Those Undead who wanted to flee were ignored; he simply let some go. And the Undead who escaped, feeling curious, slipped back to see what was happening.

Because the other party did not hunt them down, it proved that there was no malice. Many originally had no chance to flee, and had the other side wanted to exterminate them, they would have already become corpses.

Once the disturbance had grown enormous, the Lich King finally made a move. With his first strike, his formidable Undead Army encircled six different regions. These six regions were the locations of the tier six Undead who had previously attacked his territory; each of them had their own power.

As tier six Undead, although they had not established their own territories, the forces under their command were still among the most powerful in the land of chaos. Most of the tier five Undead there were also their subordinates.

However powerful they were, they could not withstand the might of a tier six Undead. Not a single one dared to escape from their station when faced with a Ghost Dragon. As for things like underground tunnels, it was not just that there were none—if there had been any, the Ghost Dragons would have discovered them long ago. The material of the earth posed no barrier to the comings and goings of a spirit.

Soon, the Lich King arrived with his main forces, and the presence of a group of tier six Ghost Dragons intimidated all the Undead.

"A great Lich King, we do not know why you have come to our land of chaos. Could there be some misunderstanding? They have not provoked Your Majesty," said a Lich of some prestige, stepping forward.

Perhaps because he was also a Lich, others thought that it would be easier to reason with a similar type of Undead.

The Lich King remained silent, glancing at Skarow, who quickly stepped forward. He knew that the Lich King was not one to speak much, although he did not know why, but he took the initiative anyway.

In the future, he would have to deal with these people. Raising his own status was also beneficial for his future prospects.

"Cough cough, this is our great Lich King, also the lord of that territory over there. You all know about us eradicating the Green-Hair Lord, right?"

Such a massive event had happened close by; of course they knew. But they hadn’t imagined that the powerful lord was actually this Lich King. Was he planning to wipe out the land of chaos as well?

They had more to say, but faced with so many tier six Ghost Dragons, what could they possibly do? Against absolute power, words were useless; what mattered was the other side’s wishes.

Skarow continued, "Previously, after we eradicated Green-Hair, we accepted the invitation from the Death God Franluoka and joined His Majesty’s forces, sending troops to join the war against the Demons. However, these six individuals took advantage of our deployment to launch a sneak attack on our great Lich King, an unforgivable crime."

Waving his hand, Skarow had the corpses of those six brought forward. Of course, there were only five; the Ghost-type Undead had not left behind a body. Among them was also a skeleton whose remains had turned into dust, now brought in a box.

Those who originally wanted to retort, upon seeing the corpses and feeling the undisguised residual aura on them, believed the story.

Some informants cursed inwardly; it had been this guy who’d been sent to investigate, so why was their boss dead now? A tier six who dies is no longer a tier six.

Even if they loathed the traitor before them, they were powerless. He now had backing; didn’t they see so many Ghost Dragons? Who would dare to cause trouble at such a time?

Many bowed their heads, hoping that the guy had not seen them, had not remembered they once bullied him. Otherwise, it could mean their end. Although Undead did not fear death, once they had attained self-awareness, none wished to die a senseless death.

"Our great Lich King gives you a chance; henceforth, we will protect this market, maintaining the principle of a free trade zone, but you must abide by our rules."

Many exchanged looks. The new lord did not exterminate them or drive them away but allowed them to live here. Several Undead found it odd; was this some method to control them? No one could have guessed.

Skarow went on, "Likewise, this time we only seek to punish the ringleaders, eradicating the subordinates of those six evil Undead, leaving the rest unharmed. Therefore, those unrelated should immediately step aside. If anyone provides information about them, catching one, we will offer a certain reward." Skarow outlined the objective of the operation.

Chaos ensued below. Some who had been under the command of those six top-tier Undead were unsettled now.

"Damn it, I’m not playing this game with you anymore," a Zombie suddenly turned and ran. Unfortunately, he didn’t get far before the Lich King casually pointed a finger, and a bone arrow, later released but swifter in flight, instantly pinned him to the ground.

The bone arrow might not have been very strong, but that was relative to those of the same tier. However, against those of a lower tier, it was overwhelming.

The unfortunate Zombie pinned to the ground had his strength rapidly waning; it seemed he wouldn’t survive for long. The Zombie struggled; he didn’t fear death, but he didn’t want to die in such a worthless manner.

Seeing this, others felt a kinship, but held back out of fear of the higher-ranking Undead’s pressure. Chapters fırst released on 𝓷𝓸𝓿𝓮𝓵※𝓯𝓲𝓻𝓮※𝓷𝓮𝓽

As long as they were not killed, there was no issue. Seeing their reaction, Skarow was very satisfied. He turned and said to the Lich King, "Lich King, we can begin now."

The Lich King nodded, leaving behind two Ghost Dragons to watch them, as the rest headed towards another location. There lay the base of a former tier six Undead, which was now completely besieged.

The other Undead dared not move, only watching, wanting to see how the situation would unfold. This incident was now a matter of life and death for them.
