Lin Yucha herself also activated her Magic Power Veil, blocking several attacks. The attacks here were too frequent to completely dodge. Without dodging most of them, even the defense of the Magic Power Veil couldn’t have withstood the assaults from tier-five creatures.

Lin Yushi was covered with numerous feathers, the Drifting Feather, which could also deflect and redirect various ranged attacks.

Du You, a Magic-class caster, didn’t have strong physical resilience to rely on to block attacks.
