I nodded my head in amusement. They were really powerful. Xander looked at my worried expression and whispered, "Don't worry, we will be alright." Then without giving me the chance to speak, he brushed his lips against mine. The moment I felt his sweet taste I pulled him closer and started sucking his lips hungrily. I could feel his smile while kissing. He pressed his body with mine more firmly and bit my lower lip gently while licking it. Our kissing battle was interrupted by a gentle knock at the door. Xander asked loudly, "Yes?" An unfamiliar tone of a girl replied, "Your Highness is calling Milord and his men for lunch as it is served already." After a pause, Xander replied nonchalantly, "Ok, we are coming."

Xander looked at me with a smirk, leaning his foreheads against mine, and whispered, "We can continue after lunch. Ok love?" I giggled out and replied with a smile, "Ok, hubby." Then we both headed outside. I found all were already in the corridor, waiting for us. Damien exclaimed, "Let's go. I am really hungry." But without moving, Xander and Damien looked at each other silently for a long time and their expressions were changing melodramatically, then after a long time, Damien yelled, "Let's go." I could easily guess that they were talking via mind-link and it was clear through Xander's expression that he was not willing to lunch there but Damien somehow made him change his mind.

We all headed towards a long dining hall. There was a never-ending dining table. I took the seat exactly beside Xander, who sat just beside Ralph. Ralph occupied the chair of the head. There were plenty of delicious dishes. Ralph first broke the silence and said, looking at Xander, "We have arranged this much for you. I hope you will like it." Roxana was also sitting there exactly opposite Xander and next to her father. She was irritatingly gawking at Xander, ignoring my presence I was too angry to control my anger but I didn't want to make any trouble for Xander so I spared her life.

We were the only person who was eating there Neither Ralph nor Roxana joined us in our lunch. They both were just giving us company, with glasses filled with fresh blood in their hands. Though it was quite logical as Vampires don't need to consume food to survive. They only eat human foods for their menu. The dishes were all good. We were all served different types of meats and fish by the vampire servants. There was an especially delicious blueberry juice. All were deeply into that juice. Our lunch was almost complete when I felt another familiar energy in the hall. I looked forward and found Selene, who was looking at Damien with a pleading expression. Instantly I witnessed their silent conversation, ignoring the eyes of both vampire father and daughter. I couldn't understand what exactly Selene was saying but I was sure she was anxious and worried about something. I saw Xander's expression also changed the moment Selene entered the hall. Instantly even before the couple completed their conversation, everyone's expressions changed on the table, and put down their glasses on the table with a gloomy expression. Xander said via mind link, 'Don't drink the juice. It is for weakening our wolves, maybe it can harm humans too.' I replied in short, 'Alright.' Soon we all completed the dining room and left for our rooms. Ralph and Roxana both chatted with us as if they were unaware of that whole matter. I was wondering why Xander couldn't read their mind. Exactly how they trapped them. When we reached the room, Selene was the one who talked first. She said in an apologetic tone, "Sorry, Your Highness. It was Roshan who has planned the whole thing and left so that you can read his mind. The moment I got the vision I ran to your rooms but you already left for lunch." Xander asked with a sigh, "So what is the exact side effect of this juice? Can we find an antidote? Will it affect humans too?" Selene replied instantly, "Actually it will resist your ability to transform and will weaken your strength for a long period, maybe for 12 hours. But I don't think it will harm Milady at all. They have some other plans." "No matter what I have to meet my Grandpa. Selene how long do I have to wait for the exact time of meeting?" asked Xander. Selene replied, "You have to wait for four more hours. I think I should leave now before they can know anything about me." Xander nodded and immediately Selene left the room, without wasting a second.

Liam yelled, "Great now we can't even shift. Ugh!" Galaxy joined him, "Yeah, these bloodsuckers are cunning creatures." Damien asked calmly, looking at Xander, "What are you thinking Xander? What should we do now?" Xander was still thinking something silently so he didn't reply instantly. The bodyguards of Xander were already ordered to leave. They headed to their rooms to get some rest. It was only Damien, Liam, Galaxy, and us in the room. After a long pause, Xander replied, "I want to see what they have planned. Behave normally, don't let them doubt you. But be aware. Now go to your rooms." After a short conversation, they also left, closing the door behind us.

Xander dragged me on the bed along with him and assured me, "Don't be scared. They will not be able to harm." I was worried but the moment he engulfed me in his warm embrace, I calmed down. Soon I fell asleep. It was not a long sleep. I only slept for one or two hours. When I woke up I found Xander was still sleeping. His handsome face was looking like an innocent child. I silently stared at his face for some time then headed towards the bathroom. It was a long day, so I decided to take a quick shower before Xander woke up. The moment the warm water of the shower kissed my body, every cell of my body relaxed miraculously. I cleaned myself up while humming some of my favorite lines. Then I wiped myself up and dressed again. But when I came out from the bathroom, there was no sign of Xander in the bedroom. Instantly my heart cried out loudly, I dashed out from my room and knocked on the next room. It was Damien and Liam's room. They immediately opened the door. Looking at me there like that, they immediately dragged me into insight. Before they could ask anything, I blurted out, "Xander is not in the room. When I went to take a shower he was sleeping. But now I cannot find him. I even tried to talk via mind-link but he is not responding." Galaxy was already out of her room. Might be, she heard my yelling. Damien assured me, "Hazel, calm down. You don't have to worry, the mind-link is not working for that drug's side effect. I am going to search for him, don't worry. Nothing will happen, he is the strongest one. Ok?" A lump choked my throat and I was not in the state of replying anymore. My thoughts were running wild at that moment. Damien looked at Galaxy and ordered, "You stay with Hazel." Then he ordered, "Liam call the guards now and order them to search every corner of the castle. I am coming." Liam left immediately. Before Damien could leave, I mumbled, "Damien, wait. I also want to go with you." Damien assured again, "Not at all. You stay here. Trust me we will find him soon. Please it is not safe outside, stay inside." After Damien's departure, Galaxy calmly assured me, "Milady, don't worry. It is not easy to harm Your Highness." Though I was panicking I knew it well there was no one in the castle whose energy could match Xander's. But I was thinking about our mind-link as I was not able to contact him.

I was walking in the room impatiently while Galaxy was trying her best to calm me down. She was continually saying something though I was not listening to anything at all. Suddenly I felt some energies around us. My body instinctively became aware and it was clear that there were almost four or five vampires near us. I instantly looked at Galaxy and said, "Galaxy, be ready. We are trapped. I think-" Before I could finish, I felt strong energy inside the room and then that familiar husky voice, "May I come in beautiful?" It was Roshan who was standing insight the room, followed by three vampire guards. He immediately signed the guards towards Galaxy and before Galaxy could stop him, she was captured by the guards. Roshan continued again, "Sorry beauty. The moment I have seen you I am dying for you. That Xander is damn lucky." In a blink of an eye, Roshan's strong arms grabbed both hands and pulled me closer to him. He was too fast to see.
