I stood on that place with watery eyes, staring at his back. He didn't look back again. My heart was aching in an unknown unbearable pain. I slowly then entered the camp and found my friends. They both were really worried for me and when they saw my wound and bloody right hand Anna immediately ran to find the first aid box. Ruth accompanied me to my tent and I just asked them not to bother others as it was already late. They treated my wound and gave me some painkillers.

After I became stable enough, Ruth asked curiously, "How did you get so deep wound?" I replied vaguely in my wobbly tone, "It was just a wild animal's attack. Nothing more. Don't worry, I am fine now. Thank you so much. You two are angels." Anna gently patted my head and said with care, "It's ok dear, you take some rest." There were just several scratches on my right arm, though the pain was fainted due to the high dose, my heart was drowning in the sea of pain, with the passing of each minute. I lied down but couldn't sleep due to the inner conflict between my heart and my brain. It seemed like I was trapped in a maze, where on the one side, it was Xander, who saved me, took care of me, expressed his love for me and the first man whom I permitted to touch me and on the other side, he was manslaughter, a monster and I saw his temper and wrath which was undeniable. But one thing I realized after a long process of analyzing was that he would never hurt me, even when he turned into that creature he had only love for me, eternal love. I somehow started feeling a little guilty, but my fear suppressed all my guilt.

Without realizing the exact time, I fell asleep, when I opened my eyes I found that all were already preparing for returning. I without wasting time started packing and helped the others. After two hours' restless effort, we were ready to live. I started walking towards the bus, suddenly I heard a familiar voice of a young boy behind me and hasty footsteps coming closer to me. I instantly found Liam, running towards me.

"Milady, Milady Wait for a second please", he pleaded in a breathy tone. His face was gloomy and a little upset and his usual broad smile were missing. I immediately stopped and taking a few steps closer to him I asked surprisingly, "Liam! What are you doing here?"

Liam once glanced behind me at my friends then dragging me a little far away from them mumbled, "Milady, We all are very sorry for Rachel's action, but trust me we don't hurt a human. I wanted to thank you for saving me that night many times before, but as previously you didn't know our identity, I couldn't," then he gave me a beautiful amulet with a deep blue stone middle of it and added, "My mom sent it for you as a token of thank you gift."

I asked him, "Why she didn't meet me in the castle?" He replied instantly, "She was out of town then. She has said, it will bring you good luck." I replied with a little smile, "Thank you. Now I have to leave, take care."

'I was thinking to ask him about Xander, I eagerly wanted to know whether he was sad. Would he meet me again? Was he hurt by my words?' His thoughts made me sad again but I knew it well that he wouldn't be able to answer me, so I just turned around and again called me in little hesitation, "Milady, I eavesdropped on the conversation between Your Highness and my brother and learned the whole thing about yesterday night." Then after blinking several times, he nervously added, "Your highness truly loves you. Alpha cannot survive Luna's rejection, don't reject him. He was telling Damien that he will die without you. He will never harm you, so please don't push him away. Milady! He is a gentleman, a very good person. Don't be afraid of us." His voice choked and tears filled his eyes. My heart was bleeding in weariness, controlling my tears I muttered in low voice, "I don't want to push him away. I hope we will meet again. Will you say him I don't afraid of him?" He wiped his tears with one hand and replied in a creaky voice, "Yes, milady. I will." Already my friends were shouting, "Hazel, come fast, we will be late." I wished him goodbye and left. He instantly vanished into the forest. His speed was similar to a wolf.

I stared at the sceneries outside the window during the whole journey, leaning against the window frame. My friends didn't bother me as they thought I was wounded and might be in pain. Indeed I was in pain, my heart was bleeding, it seemed like I was leaving my home. I had a strong feeling that I might not meet Xander again anymore, and I was feeling guilty for my action, but my life, in the end, and suppressed all the guilt. My mind was engulfed with only his memories and the loud howling of a wolf, which I heard when I was climbing the bus. It seemed like the wolf was in pain.

The journey was not so long.

After reaching the hostel at Valdez, I just lied down without having dinner or changing clothes and informed Ruth and Anna, I was not feeling well. Valdez is a snowy city, so it was cold as usual so wrapping the blankets from head to toe, I lied, and soon sleep made my eyes impossible to stay open anymore as I didn't get asleep the previous night. It was August of the year, so winter was yet to come and the weather was pleasant enough. The next morning, I felt fresh, my wounds were all recovered and the pain of my bleeding heart was bearable. From my childhood, I had a specialty of healing very fast. So, waking up, I took a hot shower and headed to grab my breakfast.

I decided to stay too busy to recall any other memory and left for classes with a hope of a fresh start.

Time and time again I have to pinch myself when I see you next to me. You are my dream come true.
