When the door opened an elegantly dressed woman appeared, followed by the servants.

Bingwen even heard the female servant stopping her from entering, "Princess, you are not allowed to go inside without Your Majesty's permission."

"Why am I not allowed? Didn't the former emperor and my father agreed that the next person to take the throne would be the one I would marry? You are disrespectful and scoundrels! Doing this to the next empress?!"

The servant fell to the floor touched her left cheek because of the strong smack the woman did to her.

She instantly bowed at the woman's feet and bear the pain, "Forgive my stupidity and give this insolent servant the punishment she deserves, Princess."

The woman kicked her in the stomach, so she writhed in pain. She turned to us and her smile gleamed at Fen Cheng.

"Congratulations, Your Majesty. My father, Emperor Rajah Xi of the Taraji empire sent me here, JingFei Xi to personally greet you," she bowed her head.

"I am delighted to receive your greeting. Nevertheless, I will not let it slide, you step foot into my room without permission. I want to remind you, you are now stepping on the ground that is mine, so you can't do everything you want, you are not allowed to hurt or touch anyone who serves on this palace," Fen Cheng let out pridefully.

"I understand what you want to convey Your Majesty but I am not mistaken in what I announced. I will be the empress of this whole empire," she walked to the wall and looked at it, "whether you like it or not."

"I have a high opinion of your father because he will be one of the assets of the empire in case another monarchy declares war. But it is a big mistake for you to think that I will let someone else decide for me."

The woman laughed and looked at Fen Cheng slowly run her eyes to Bingwen, "Let's see where your words take you. I'll stay in this palace for a long time because that was my father's order. Before leaving the throne, the former Emperor had already agreed that I occupy one of the rooms here. I will wait for the outcome of what you have said."

The woman turns around and leave.

"Haaa." Fen Cheng runs his fingers on his hair and sigh.

Bingwen pats his shoulder and asked, "Are you alright?"

"I didn't know they had a conversation like that. I have no idea why that happened," Fen Cheng said worriedly as if he was afraid of Bingwen's reaction.

Fen Cheng's feet stood up spontaneously so Bingwen asked him.

"Where are you going?"

"I'll go to the late emperor and ask about what they talked about."

Bingwen grabbed Fen Cheng's hand and clasped it. Fen Cheng looked at it and kissed Bingwen's backhand.

"I'll fix this. I don't want anyone else to be with, but you. If they still force me to do what they plan, I'll leave my seat as an emperor."

Bingwen gave him a sad smile.

Not because of what Fen Cheng said or the woman announced. He doesn't care about all that, he's scared because he doesn't want to be the reason for Fen Cheng's downfall. Fen Cheng strives harder than anyone else. He didn’t want to deprive what Fen Cheng battled to get.

Fen Cheng's steps into the emperor's room were big and fast. He slammed open a thin door, its opening rang out.

He was no longer surprised to see two sex slaves having sex with him. The emperor was lying down while a woman was sitting on top of him and the other was kissing him.

The two women quickly stood up and put on clothes, then went to the side of the wall. The emperor told them to leave. He also got dressed and stood up.

"What's happening?" He played with his moustache.

"Pardon me for coming suddenly and interrupting what you are doing. But I just want to know what you and Rajah had talked about with his daughter," Fen Cheng politely asked.

He laughed as if Santa Clause's voice while still fiddling with the moustache, "Isn't that nice? You won't have to find a woman to be your empress. The chicken itself is approaching the rice field. And one more thing, that would be a great opportunity to further develop our empire."

"The Taraji empire is the vastest and rich empire in this day. They were able to colonize the territories one by one. They are a fully armed prosperous town. If their empire has a good relationship with ours, it will result in a strong alliance of forces. No one will dare to raze down our empire," he clarified as an idea shows in his eyes.

"I understand what you want to happen, but what else is the reason why I'm sitting as a leader if I am already led by somebody about my decisions?"

Fen Cheng's interlocutor did not say a word so he proceeded, "It's not that I don't like your strategy but I want to lead the empire with my ability. You said you believe in my capacity, give me time to prove myself. It's just beginning and there are many I still want to know such as knowing the detour. I don't want to ruin this place with my ignorance just because I don't have my own ruling."

The emperor let out a deep breath and taps Fen Cheng's shoulder.

"You're right. It's wrong to trust the empire with such a method. I'm just implying that the sitting emperor is incompetent. Don't worry, I'll send a letter to Rajah and tell them that I'm breaking our agreement."

Fen Cheng said goodbye and immediately went to Bingwen's room. He saw him looking out the window while holding a bird in his palm. He hugged Bingwen from behind and kissed his cheek.

“I have already talked to the majesty, he told me, he will revoke his agreement with Rajah,” Fen Cheng said cheerfully.

Bingwen didn't speak and just continued to stroke the bird's head. Fen Cheng plops his chin on Bingwen's shoulder.

"Are you angry because of what happened?" Fen Cheng asked.

“You can’t deny that the time will come when you need to have an empress by your side to help you rule the empire and to give you an heir,” Bingwen responded.

"Your thoughts are advanced, don't ever think about that. I'll stay by your side 'til I die and I yearn you do the same," Fen Cheng said and kissed Bingwen's forehead.

What they don’t know is that there is a big dilemma waiting for them.
