Chapter 37: Chapter 37
"Vlad , my dolzhny uyti. Oh sorry." (Vlad, we have to leave.) Alexei broke us apart, a remorse grin spreads across his face. He pause in his steps, eyes flitting over to Nia locked in my embrace giving her a chastising grin. "Sonia." Drying her face once more, she returns his grin. Tipping an invincible hat, he steps back closing the door behind him after giving me a signal nod.
Turning her to face me. "Hands up." I command, she obeys. Her cheeks produce a beautiful shade of red traveling down to her neck. She is never one to show her emotions but when she does this makes my dick jump in excitement. She looks innocently at me as I tore the hospital gown off her body but all my brain can decipher is ravishing her in the most carnal ways known to man.
"Don't act shy on me now." Surprise how my voice sounds monotone when on the inside I am burning with the desires to bury myself in her. My finger tips grazing the soft warm flesh of her naked skin. She blushes furiously biting her lips looking away from me as I fix her up. "Ready?"
A scared look clouds her face once again squeezing my heart in a painful throb. She doesn't deserve this. She do not deserve to live with this fear. She deserves more and I hope I can give that to her.
Muttering a soft yes, I look into her hazels hoping she trusts me enough to get her out of this warzone. "Stay with me, we are not in our friendly and I can't loose you." She nods obediently getting a sigh from me. Placing a chaste kiss on top of her head, I strode out of the room casually with her beside me; Alexei, Ivan and Kirill trailing behind us, all eyes on alert.
"We will soon be out of here. Okay?" She gulps looking ahead, the fear still in her eyes. I couldn't imagine what would have happened if I couldn't make it to her. If Alexei didn't track her down. If, what if? Glancing at the tiny woman who has been nothing but obstinate, her fiery spirit and resisting mind have me wanting, no, needing her like a huge breath of fresh air to my system. Finding myself doing things that I thought is unspoken of, and yet I do for her. My eyes snaps to an odd looking fellow by the slide doors uncharacteristically reading the papers sitting on the lounge chair. Our both eyes meets which he quickly averts his gaze, a look came across his face.
"He was a Russian." I look down at her but she still looks straight ahead. If I was not attentive, I would have missed it.
"What?" She glances at me then back ahead.
"The man you just shot in my room." She whispers not wanting a group of passing nurses who looked at our small group in raise brows to overhear her.
"How did you know?"
"He said something like datspentanya." Her face scrunch in deep thought shrugging after few seconds. "I think. Something like that before the gun went off. Well your gun." She says as we got closer to the doors, my eyes goes to the man now coyly watching us but I knew better.
"Do svidaniya." I corrected. Her eyes snaps to me giving a small smile with a nod as we walk out of the hospital towards the two black tinted escalade waiting for us. My eyes snaps to Alexei at the rearview mirror once we settled in the car, our eyes reading meanings to questions unspoken. Movements causes my eyes to drift to Nia's exhausting eyes that shuts close as she shuffles closer to me laying her head on my chest drifting off slowly to sleep.
"I didn't mean for any of this to happen Elijah." Her very soft voice came out in a whisper watching her eyes watch me for a moment. My hand meets her face brushing her curls falling down her perfect heart shape face, she kiss the hand letting out an exhausting sigh before closing her eyes once more drifting to sleep.
"I trust you Elijah. With all my heart. Please, don't hurt me." Became her faint mumbling which Alexei and I heard. He looks at her sleeping form then at me in a knowing stare. I need to fix all this before it is too late.

"How is she?" He asks once I came out through one of the door of the beautiful suite I lodge.
Giving an exasperating sigh I plop down on the seat groaning out of exhaustion. Rubbing my temple slowly trailing to the bridge of my nose. I moan. "Always trying to put up a front."
"When is she never."His words held amusement in them. Catching a smile on his face causes me to grin at the comment. Suddenly his face went back stoic fishing a tablet from his jacket tapping furiously at the screen. "Someone sank one of our cocaine ship heading to the states..." I sat up clasping my fingers together "...and I got an ID of the men at the hospital." He was observant to take notice of the other man. He kept in tapping on the screen of his iPad. "I got their facials from the hospital CCTV, our men are already there for cleanup of two dead bodies. So no panic by morning, it will just look as if we came for your wife and left with her. There, done." He grins triumphantly. "Fully erased the scenes from their database, we good to go." Pouring himself a glass he cheers to me before gulping in one go winching at the slight burn.
"She is right by saying he is Russian. They were sent to track and kill Sonia, luckily you got there in time." Pouring another into the glass plopping on a nearby couch. "Well, I'm sure you know who is the mastermind." Grinning sadistically he quips.
