●Daniel's P.O.V.●

"Miss India,

Mr. South Korea Has fallen----------" Finally, I was going to confess my feelings to Nuri.

I was feeling overwhelmed with joy after having those illusions about Nuri at the place of Yoonah. I understood my heart, and my brain was accepting Nuri wholly.

Suddenly, someone yelled behind us. I looked over Nuri's head, and she turned her head behind. It was none other than Yoonah. She was running toward us.

I was confused watching her here.

She rushed to us and hugged me, pushing Nuri away. I was shocked by her sudden action and froze there.

Yoonah soon parted from me and said,

" I knew you could never forget the day we became a couple.

Do you remember when we visited Jeju on our first anniversary? And today is the same date we came to Jeju together last time.

I was missing you when I decided to come here.

I was checking in at my hotel, but I noticed you from my hotel entrance.

I knew you could never love anyone else except me. You came here because you missed me, right ?"

Soon I remembered that we came here last time on the same day, which was our anniversary. I forgot about the date and planned this trip. My eyes fell on Nuri, who was watching us with her widened eyes.

Her eyes met mine, and she suddenly smiled widely. I became more confused. Then she gave a thumbs up to me and turned her head the opposite way. I felt she was going to leave. And she really started running away from me. I extended my hands to grab her, but it was too late.

I felt anger rising inside me. I pushed Yoonah away harshly. She tried to maintain her balance and glanced up at me with shock.

"I don't love you !!!!!

And I didn't come here for you !!!" I yelled.

"Wh-what are you saying, Daniel?

If you don't love me, then why did you come to Jeju Island on the same day of our anniversary ???" Yoonah asked, crying.

"I came here because Nuri wanted to !!

I didn't even remember the date today !!

I love her !! You understand ?!" I sneered.

Her eyes widened. Then she lowered her head,

"I'm - I'm sorry.

I think because of my misunderstanding, Nuri left." She said with her sad tone.

"Oh gosh! Just stop pretending!

If you had misunderstood everything and only said those out of happiness, you had talked to me in our mother tongue, "Korean!" like we are talking now. Not in English." I snarled.

【Daniel and Yoonah we're talking in Korean now】

Yoonah was shocked to hear the sentence from me. But soon, Yoonah's eyes were back to her usual self. She casually crossed her arms over her chest.

"I like the thing in you that you're so smart." she smirked, "I indeed said all those things in English so she could understand."

"Why? Why are you doing all this?

We broke up a long time ago!!!

Why can't you leave me alone ??" I screamed.

"Because I love you, Daniel. And I hate you more than I love you.

I like to see you suffer." Her face hardened.

"What have I done to get hated? Huh?

You were the one who cheated. And I broke up with you !" I yelled at her.

"No one rejected me up until now except you!

I don't care who was guilty. You have no place to reject me! Understand ?" She sneered.

"But if you promise me to come back to me again, I might become the old sweet Yoonah to you." A smile approached her lips.

I burst out laughing. Yoonah's eyes observed me.

"I will never accept you again because I don't believe in cheaters. Moreover, I already have someone very important who is ruling over my whole heart.

You can't have 0.01% of it." I said, mocking her.

"And becoming the old sweet Yoonah?

You can never do that!

Do you know why?

Because you were never that sweet woman!

You were this vicious, lier, and ungracious woman from the very first. You just wore a mask to enter my heart.

Am I right ?" I smirked.

Her face was red in anger. She tried to slap me, "You !!"

I caught her hand easily and pushed it back.

"Don't you dare Lee Yoonah!

You are a loser. And I will always reject you no matter how much you try.

Accept the rejection and move on. You and I both can live our life better this way." I said, glaring at her.

Then I decided to find Nuri, but before leaving, I said, " Don't ever try to appear before my eyes again.

It's a warning to you, Lee Yoonah."

With that, I ran to the way I saw Nuri leaving. It was hard to find where she went. I just tried to take straight roads.

But my luck was with me because soon I noticed Nuri was running somewhere. She was a little distance away from me. I ran faster. I saw she took a turn.

I ran faster and reached the turn.

But arriving there, I saw Nuri was in the middle of a road. And a car was rushing towards her. My hands and legs went cold, and my eyes widened.

Not thinking much, I ran toward her to save her from the car. I didn't care what could happen to me if I couldn't protect myself. I only knew I needed to save her.

But I stopped in the middle of my run because before I could catch her, someone else pulled her back to the other corner of the road. The car stopped with a loud screech sound. And people gathered at the place.

The person who saved Nuri was none other than Ray. I wasn't able to save her this time. Someone else saved her. I only stared at them.

Nuri glanced up at Ray, and she hugged him. I felt like I couldn't breathe all of a sudden.

She was embracing him, and Ray soon embraced her back as he patted her back, comforting her.

It was me who saved her every time, whether it was a stone or a gun. And I comforted her. I couldn't do anything this time.

I felt no power in my body as I fell on my knees and just blankly stared at them as they were still embracing each other.
