Chapter 450: Chapter 450
Her warmth gradually eased the stiffness in his body. He chuckled softly, "Hmm, we are not them, and I will never let us become like them, definitely!"
Mabel Quinn lit candles in front of the tombstone, offered incense, laid out the meals she had prepared by hand, and even poured wine.
When she was about to leave, she respectfully bowed three times to the tombstone, silently reciting in her heart, "Dear future father-in-law and mother-in-law, although we have never met, I will become your daughter-in-law and spend a lifetime with Kyle. Please rest assured, Kyle will not be lonely in this life."
After saying everything she wanted to in her heart, Mabel Quinn looked up, glanced again at the two photos on the tombstone, and then turned to hold Kyle Kinston’s hand to leave.
"Kyle, from now on, bring me along whenever you come to visit them each year. I’d like to talk to them more," she said.
"You don’t find it boring?" His footsteps paused, and he asked.
"They are your parents; I can talk to them about many things in your life. How could it be boring?" she replied with a smile.
A slight curve slowly appeared on his lips, "Hmm... next time, let’s come together again." To be loved by the person you love is indeed a wonderful thing.
The sunlight was just as brilliant.
Francine Howards suddenly stood up, glaring at her cousin, utterly disbelieving what she had just heard, "What did you say?!" The rıghtful source is N()velFire.net
"I said, this time Kyle took Mabel Quinn to Falling City to prepare for their wedding. Before long, they should be getting married."
"Married?" Francine Howards’ face turned deathly pale in an instant, "Kyle is going to marry Mabel Quinn? How long has he been in J City? How long has he known Mabel Quinn?!
"Love has never been something that time can measure," Dorian Howards replied, "If love could be calculated by time, then with the length of time you’ve known Kyle, you should have already become Mrs. Kinston."
Francine Howards gritted her teeth bitterly, "I won’t let their wedding go smoothly. Mabel Quinn doesn’t deserve to marry into the Kinston Family at all!"
Dorian Howards said seriously, "Francine, get a grip. Kyle doesn’t love you; he never has from beginning to end. Being so stubborn will only make you look pathetic. Do you want the entire Howards Family to be dragged down with you?"
Francine Howards lifted her chin defiantly, "If you’re afraid the Howards Family will be dragged down with me, you can always cut ties with us. But becoming Kyle’s wife has been my dream for so many years. How can I possibly give it up so easily!"
Dorian Howards had a headache; he knew that telling his cousin would provoke an overreaction, and now she wasn’t listening to him at all.
"Your mom asked me to keep a close watch on you, to prevent you from causing any more trouble," Dorian Howards said. "Besides, do you think Kyle is a man you can have just because you want him? Even without Mabel Quinn, do you think Kyle would love you?"
Francine Howards had calmed down by now, lowering her head as she said softly, "Yes, you’re right, even without Mabel Quinn, Kyle might not love me."
Hearing his cousin say this, Dorian Howards finally breathed a slight sigh of relief, "I’m glad you see it that way."
However... without Mabel Quinn, there might still be a chance Kyle would fall in love with her. But Francine Howards left this thought unspoken.
