Chapter 973: Chapter 971: Joining Forces to Strangle

Encountering a Boa, the jungle king, is simply a nightmare and disaster. This creature can instantly kill any animal in the jungle. Who dares to challenge it?

Wufu’s long sword couldn’t even penetrate its skin. It’s simply too hard, and when the blade struck down, it even chipped a little.

Who the hell caused this thing to come here?

And did Cloud Fort even know of this thing’s existence? No, maybe they knew, and just used this excuse to gather people here, with the goal of eliminating this creature.

So, is it possible that the elder and those disciples all became a meal for this monster?

While Wufu was thinking wildly, she agilely dodged the Boa’s attacks, but even though everyone was working together, they still didn’t manage to take it down. The chaotic and uncoordinated fighting only made it more furious and violent. At this rate, they would suffer losses, because its body was too big. It possessed stamina far beyond what humans could compare.

Though this Boa is extremely powerful, its movements seem somewhat sluggish. Wufu considered and looked towards its belly; it was bulging, no wonder it seemed a bit weak.

It’s likely that the Boa had just fed recently, which was why it appeared weak, otherwise, its movements would have been more rapid. It’s just unclear how it was drawn out.

They needed to be highly coordinated to take it down.

Ah Jiu screamed sharply, just as Wufu felt a rush of wind, a giant tail swept her forcefully.

Damn, this is bad luck.

In the brief span of those five words crossing her mind, Wufu was swept away, but she was quick to react, rolling herself into a ball as she landed and tumbled for several circles.

“Ugh!” Wufu’s throat felt a metallic taste, and she turned her head to spit out a mouthful of blood.

“Wufu.” Ah Jiu swiftly leaped to her side, seeing the red blood; his eyes turned red, cradling her urgently. He asked with a trembling voice, “Are you alright?”

“I won’t die!” Wufu shook her head, though her entire body was aching terribly. Who exactly did she offend?

“Hide back.” Ah Jiu helped her up, trying to take her behind a tree to hide.

Wufu gripped his arm, saying, “Under the nest breaker, none of the eggs can remain intact. We must quickly eliminate it, or else we’re all doomed.”

While the king here was making a ruckus, no animals dared come close. Those that existed only trembled inside their burrows, not daring to come out and seek death.

“You’re not needed.” Ah Jiu didn’t listen to her, insisting to take her behind the big tree.

“It’s fine, one more person and we have more strength.” Wufu said, “Listen to me. That thing just ate, now is when it’s weak. Its back is too hard, so we attack its belly and eyes.”

Ah Jiu frowned, and seeing her insistence, could only nod.

The two returned to the battlefield. Wufu took a quick glance and shouted, “Hoo Die, Ah Qi, go for its eyes and cut its mouth. Chi Yi, you’re responsible for its back and tail. Big Brother Tie, your knife is sharp enough to slice open its belly. Ding Lai and Ding Qu, distract it so it doesn’t coil up.”

With Wufu’s instructions, everyone took their positions. Ding Lai and Ding Qu immediately rushed towards the Boa, acting as if to attack, causing the Boa to raise its tail ready to strike.

“Now’s the time.” Wufu shouted loudly, while she and Ah Jiu swiftly moved to the Boa’s left belly, thrusting their daggers, sharp as iron cutting through mud, into its belly, fiercely pulling back.

Simultaneously, Ah Jiu and Tie Hanyang plunged their weapons into its belly, while Hoo Die and Ah Qi were each dealing with its giant mouth and stabbing a sword into its eye.

The piercing roar echoed through the forest, startling birds to fly about wildly, and many small animals fled at top speed.
