" he said he isn't marrying her anymore because his parents had someone else for him." I said in one breath .

" WHAT!! and he made us wait for so long before saying that, I can't believe this. " her father furiously said and turn to his wife and said "You've seen what your daughter had caused right, she want to drag our name down the mud. I wished I never agreed to this" he growled out and left to his room in anger.

Aisha's mom was quietly sobbing. This is all Bashir's fault, that good for nothing and right now he is either with his prostitute lady right now enjoying himself without a care in the world. How can someone be so heartless and also disgusting at the same time.

" Where is Aisha?" her mom asked with concern allover her face.

" She's in her room right now, she is so broken and distraughted .please mom forgive her, she never wish for this to happen and it was so sudden and unexpected. " I said

" OK, the only problem now is her father and I know with time he will forgive her. Lets go to her room" she said with a sad face..

When we got to her room she was already laying on the bed silently sobbing . Her mom went closer and sat on the bed and wrap her arm around Aisha.

" please my baby stop crying, and also take it as Qadr. It's a test from Allah, he is not for you and I know someone better will come. Please take heart my dear daughter " she silently said to Aisha in their embrace.

I stood close to the door and look at the scene before me. Aisha sob reduced a little and nod at what her mother said to her.. I think they need some space so therefore I have to leave.

" Mom, Aisha I think I should take my leave now, mama would be waiting for me" I said. I've already wore my hijab.

" ok ,please greet your mom for me and tell her I'll come to visit during the week" she said with a sad smile.

" OK, I'll tell her what you said, Aisha please take heart please " I said and Aisha only nod her head.

I left to my house immediately.

Mama was cutting vegetable with knife when I got back from Aisha's house so I salaamed and greeted her as I enter the compound. Aliyu my junior brother went to islamiyya and as always my father and two brothers went to work. I told Mama about what happened and she was sad, I told her exactly what I told Aisha's parents. The real thing that happened stays between me and Aisha , it's so saddened .

Before I forget let me tell mama what message Aisha's mom told me to tell her.

" Aisha's mom said she is coming to visit you during this week " I told her.

" OK, I'll be expecting her then" she replied with a small smile. What happened to Aisha is still disturbing her because she loves Aisha like her own daughter but there is nothing we could do what has happened has happened.

How can someone be so cruel, Bashir is really a very bad person and I can't even believe what he did. It's so surprising, it was a day before yesterday when we met. Since the last time we were to meet was cancelled because of Mama's sickness and thank God she is feeling better now. The doctor said it was just a minor malaria.

When we met with bashir and his friend Aminu, he even apologize to me on behalf of his friend like a good person and to think that it was all a scam .Aminu also apologize for what he did and I accepted his pleading because he looked like he was ashamed of what he did or maybe not.

Allah please see us through and make Bashir repent his sins Ya Allah(oh Allah )

FLASHBACK

We were watching be my lady in their Aisha's sitting room and as always, the program is the best so far ,it always made my day. It's a phillipine love series about how a couple with three kids got divorced due to the persistence of the wife that the husband has no time for the family except his work. The divorce really changed alot of things and new love were formed and so on and so fort.

Aisha's phone was ringing so she picked it up. With the smile on her face I knew it was Bashir calling. He might be here already since we were to meet today about the apology issue.

" He said they are outside so come let go and settle things" said an excited Aisha. I don't know how fast she already fall for bashir I just hope he also love her as much as she loves him.

She quickly ran to her room while I silently trail at her back. When I got to her room she was already rubbing makeup while I as I have already promised, I put on my longest hijab.

We met them by the car waiting for us. I left the talking to Aisha and her boyfriend while Aminu was busy looking at the ground like one good person.

when it was aminu's turn to talk he said " Ameera I'm sorry it was the devil hand work" I silently snorted

" Please forgive me" he pleaded and I nod my head.

" So since all is settled let's us all be friends again" that was Aisha talking. Friends indeed, I can never be his friend but because of Aisha I can only be civil with him. I will try to bear his presence .
