Sunny

"You went out yesterday alone?" Shiela inquired as she entered our room.

She was actually running and immediately went to me.

"Why did you not invite me at all?" She asked again. "If you texted or chatted with me yesterday, I will be with you in just a few minutes. I was so bored in our house! All I did was watch movies or dramas. I should have opened my social media early so that I would not miss you." She added.

Can I tell her I went out with Steven yesterday? If I ask myself, I can tell her myself that I went out with Steven, but we are talking about Steven here. He is private. He does not even share anything on his social media, and I should respect that.

It is the least I can do to thank him, aside from saying thank you properly and personally. Aside from Shiela, he is the one who helped and comforted me.

"We can just go out next time." I replied. "I also thought that you had a practice for cheer dance." I added, trying to change the topic as much as possible.

"We did not have practice yesterday," She replied. "Anyway, what about J―"

"BROTHER!" Marco yelled when Steven came.

"Tell me, Marco. Do you like Steven? You scream and act like one." Shiela teased Marco.

Phew. I was saved again by him.

I am trying to avoid it for now.

I will just tell her later.

Marco showed his smug face and smirked. "Of course! We are buddies now. He is also in our boys' group, although he does not talk much, but as long as he communicates, then that is much better." Marco replied.

The other boys commented and showed an approval sign about Steven joining their group chat.

Shiela turned to me again. "Going back, what happened to your talk with Jake? You know what, I have been waiting for you to tell me or call me that day and yet two days have passed already and you never said anything." Shiela asked again.

How should I change the topic?

I must not tell her this time. I will simply tell her after class.

"What? Talk. Last time I checked, you could speak. Do not just look at me. Answer me." Shiela added.

Oh no...

What should I do?

"They broke up." Steven blurted out my secret.

WHICH MADE ME LOOK AT HIM!

WHY DID HE TELL HER!?

"STEVEN!" I called him.

"What? I am not supposed to tell her about it?" Steven asked innocently.

"What? You guys broke up already?" Marco asked.

No, Marco is not the only one looking at me. All my classmates are looking at me now.

"Why?" I asked. "Why are you all looking at me like that? You are scaring me." I commented, telling them the truth.

"Who decided to break up? Is it you or him? Tell me." Shiela asked seriously. "Did you guys break up that day?"

I nodded slowly.

How should I tell her that she would not get mad?

I am already scared.

"Sunny Clyde, you can tell me." She added, more calm than a while ago.

I look at Steven, trying to ask for help since he is the one who blurted out the secret that must not be blurted out this early.

"Sunny saw Jake with another woman that time. They were doing something at their building." Steven simply explained what really happened.

All of them were standing quietly. Not moving. Until they all walk out.

"I will kill that man." I heard Shiela say.

"Let's kill him." I also heard someone comment.

"W-wait! Guys, calm down first!" I said, trying to stop them. "Steven, help me stop them." I called for help.

Instead of Steven helping me to stop them, when he got closer to me, he pushed me a little and said...

"Let us see what they will do to your jerk ex-boyfriend."

I nervously walked behind them, heading to Jake's building. When we reached the building, my heart beat louder than ever.

This is killing me already.

The students outside are all looking at us, confused as to what we are doing to their building.

"JAKE F*CKING JAKE!" Shiela growled.

I was startled by her loud voice. We all caught their attention now, and Jake was one of them.

"I can let it pass, being you, as a bad boyfriend to my friend. Treating her as an invisible boyfriend who can not even make time for once a week. Getting mad about her calling you and saying bad things to her when all she wanted was to know your day, because you did not have the intention of doing so." Shiela said. "And now, you dared to fool her?!" She added.

"Shiela, let's talk about it privately. Do not make a mess of her―"

"Do not make a mess? What the f*ck to not make a mess when you fool our friend?" Marco complained.

"You cheated on her. Making out with your new girl with Sunny's view? What the hell was that man?" Sam added.

"You also know that we already warned you a few days ago because we heard what you were doing to Sunny." Bentley.

"Why did you have to cheat on her when you could just break up with her as soon as you found a new one?" Jericho also commented.

"This damn man is making me mad. However, I can not punch him here. Let's wait for him outside. I will call my brothers later. Let's get him checked and pay for his sin." Gino commented, looking at Jake's dead like face.

"Why are you doing this to Jake? Sunny and Jake should settle this alone. You should not involve yourself in this. You are also not God to make him pay for his sin. We can file a case about this, threatening him like this." One of Jake's friends said.

"G-gino... everyone... I think he is right. We should settle this by ourselves. Let's go back to our room now. Let's not make a scene and cause trouble here." I asked and held Gino's shoulder.

Gino nodded. "No, Sunny." He replied. "We all know the effort you made for him since day one. You have made so much effort that sometimes he does not give you credit for it. We all know about it. We just do not want to show you because you might feel that we pity you." Gino replied.

"Shiela had been telling us about your relationship. We already feel that your a*shole ex does not feel the same anymore, but we never tried to stop you because it is your decision to make, not us." Aira added.

"Now that we know he cheated, that may be the reason for his cold behavior towards you. His late replies, not being excited, and ditching you on your dates were because he had a new one behind your back and that is what we cannot let go." Princess also chimed in.

"That's correct. Right. And you..." Gino said, and approached Jake's friend. "You, his bastard friend, all of you, who allowed this a*shole to do this to my friend. This makes you guys a*sholes too." He said. "Instead of telling him to stop doing that, you let him? That's what an uneducated man would do, man. I am not God. Yes, I admit that. But I can still make him pay for his sin. I am not scared. Go file a case. Let's meet at the court, with all of you losing some parts of your bodies first. I would be happy to play with you. A man who does not keep his words as a man and cheats on them is wrong for me. Should I put a bullet on your head first, before him?" Gino asked, smiling at them widely.

Jake and his friend were not able to speak anymore.

Even I. I am already threatened by what Gino said. He is scaring me too much.

"Where is your new one?" Shiela asked.

"Here." Steven in the back replied, pointing to the girl, Jake's girlfriend.

I can not tell if she is his new girlfriend or if they were already in a relationship while we were still together.

"So you? You know already that he had one and yet pushed yourself to get him?" Shiela asked. "How funny. What can you even see in him? He is not that handsome, has a bad attitude, and does not take care of his own girlfriend at all." She added.

"Your friend is blind too! And he does take care of me!" The girl replied.

Shiela laughed. "Yes, he will... for now. After a few months, he will do to you what he did to Sunny. Have fun, girl. I will cheer you with my pompoms." She replied. "My friend is blind. We know and accept that. But she is not anymore."

"Let's go back to our room now." Steven told us. "Let's just wait for them to complain about us." He added.

They all nodded and looked at me.

"Are you okay?" The President even asked me as he patted my back. "It's okay, there is really a time where we will meet a jerk like Jake. Let's just hope HE ROTS IN HELL SOONER OR LATER." He added.

"Let's go home." Shiela said, and held my hands.

"That was short but fun. See you guys. Not outside of the school. Let's just always meet inside the school, okay?" Justin said.

"Will Gino pull the billionaire card already? No, not yet. They are not worth the card." Chris also added.

"Do not worry. I would never pull my billionaire card on them. Just the mercy card for now, then straight to the death card―joke only, again. Just a mercy card, because as the bastard said, I am not a God. What was his name again? I will tell him to ask his father why he is such a bad son. Would he be happy if they did that to someone close to them? Not right?" Gino explained.

"Eh? Wait. Boys, we still have not done our code." Marco said.

"Ah, right. Our code." Ivan replied.

The boys looked back, which made us stop.

"JAKE!" They called him and signed, slicing their necks from left to right.

After that, we could hear the boys laughing hard as we walked back to our room.

"We scared them. Look at their faces, they might have pissed on their pants already." Mark said, laughing, as we entered our room.

"Gino did well. He scared them all in one go." Philip replied.

"Thank you, guys!" I said, enough for them to hear me. "But you would not do that, right?" I asked again, pertaining to their threats.

"Of course not, Sunny." Gino replied. "Unless they try to fight us. I might. A joke only. Hehe." He added.

"I appreciated it. Thank you very much. You guys are all the best of the best as my classmates and as my family." I told them with teary eyes.

They never make me feel bad. They are always there for me whenever I need help. I am lucky to have had them as my classmates since my first time here.

"GROUP HUG!"

"I LOVE YOU! I LOVE YOU!"

"WE LOVE YOU TOO!"

"LET'S STICK FOREVER UNTIL WE GET OLD."

"WOOOOH!"

"I KNOW GUYS, YOU WILL STICK FOREVER BUT WE HAVE A CLASS NOW."

That made us break our hugs and find where our professor was.

Our professor smiled and said, "Go back to your seats now. Let's continue it later." She said. "I am happy to see you guys. It was the first time I saw something like this. You made my day better and more inspiring."

Putting her things on the table, she said, "You have been classmate since first year, right?" She asked, and we nodded back at her. You know what, out of all the sections I was in charge of, yours was my favorite. I can see your dedication to passing altogether. Helping one another and never letting the others down. All of the professors here know your section. Although you guys are naughty sometimes."

"We rarely see these kinds of students. Some of the sections here do not care about the others, they just want to survive alone and try to bring others down. Some of them see their classmates as enemies that they need to knock out."

"But this section is unique. We can notice little things. We know our students well. You guys are making me proud. Did something happen to you to make you do that? Saying I love you and a big group hug?" Ma'am asked.

"Ma'am, Sunny's boyfriend cheated on her!" Marco quickly shared the news.

Do the people at this school need to know what happened to my relationship?

Why am I becoming the focal point of the discussion yet again?
