Chapter 90: Chapter 90
Alfredo walked into Luciano's office and found him lost in thoughts. Closing the door, he proceeded to his brother. Pulled out a chair and gracefully sat down. Looking at Luciano, he didn't even notice he had company when his eyes were firmly fixed on the computer screen. Alfredo watched Luciano's change in his facial expressions.
It seemed he was busy trying to solve a difficult task, the way his brows knitted together forming lines on his forehead.
The constant pressing of keys and leaning down the computer. There was something wrong with her.
“Dammit,” Luciano let out a curse, shoving the mouse away, only to glance up and was nearly startled to see Alfredo sitting across him with an intense gaze.
“And when did you get here?” Luciano asked, narrowing his eyes suspiciously and picking up a glass of water placed beside his files. Alfredo cleared his throat, not sure what to do.
“A while ago, and you seemed to be so occupied with your work to notice me,” Alfredo was a little irritated. However, Luciano let out a long exhale and stared at his little brother.
“Do you perhaps believe in ghosts?” Luciano asked, folding his hands together and waiting for Alfredo to ask.
“Bro, have you been smoking, huh… or are mom's bizarre episodes extended to you?” Alfredo asked, arching his brows at Luciano. Judging by how rugged he was looking, Alfredo was sure Luciano had lost it.
“I do, and I think mom isn't exaggerating… it's too much of a coincidence okay… mom saw Olivia, she made it clear the woman she saw was Olivia… but how?” Luciano was sure his mom wasn't making things up, at least he had proof of that “see this… I asked for CCTV footage, I was told someone deleted the videos recorded the night of the party,” he added and tilted the computer a little, so Alfredo could see. Alfredo moved closer, so he could see what was happening and yes.
“Is that a shadow… of a woman running,” Alfredo asked, seeing the shadow moving in the dark? It was just as Antonia had described. Both Luciano and Alfredo watched the video, repeating it, so they could see what exactly happened
“No way” Alfredo was in disbelief, Luciano paused the video and pushed his chair back. He was sure now who was busy playing ghost and scaring his mom to death.
“But, are you certain… the face looks familiar,” Alfredo remarked while Luciano walked to the wine cellar to pour him and Alfredo a strong drink.
“If so, then I need to talk to her… she's shoving me off because of that fucker… I need to know why she's doing this… what relationship she had with my Olivia,” Luciano said and walked back to his chair after pouring some champagne into two glasses. He handed one to Alfredo and then sat down
“Livia Gonzalez, but she's different… was she perhaps,” Alfredo was wondering and confused at the same time. The woman they saw in the video was Livia, wearing the same dress Olivia had won two years ago on her birthday. She looked exactly like Olivia.
“Something is wrong, I must find out… I won't rest because… I'm sure it's that darn Pedro Ramirez who tried to kill me,” Luciano remarked bitterly as he took a long gulp of the champagne. For now, his enemy was Pedro, as long as Livia was with Pedro.
“Livia is with Pedro and if she's busy posing as Olivia to scare mom, then…”
“She's working with Pedro to cause our family harm,” Luciano finished the sentence nodding, Alfredo was lost. This was beginning to be even more dangerous than he expected. Everyone thought that little Pedro from the past was dead. But he wasn't, his mother didn't even know that the boy he hated so much was alive and in their lives.
“Great, I have work to attend to… I'll pass by the hospital and see Lia,” Alfredo said goodbye to Luciano after they had a few drinks. Leaving Luciano's office, he took out his phone to call someone.
“Don't cut the call for fuck's sake,” Alfredo made a low growl and entered the elevator “I need details of the Santos family… I'm sure one of them will tell me something,” Alfredo said and disconnected the call. The least he could do was avoid Antonia knowing Pedro the other Garcia was alive.

Olivia was having a hard time going through Pedro's things. It was late in the afternoon, and the guys to get with Pedro had left the mansion to do their mafia work. She pretended to be ill and hence stayed back.
“Dammit, why can't I find anything,” she was frustrated as she sat on the floor surrounded by various papers. Some old files and photos. All of them seemed to be Pedro's mother. She was beautiful with bright blue eyes. If Pedro smiled, they would have the same smile. Attractive and warm, before she went ahead and finished off the Garcia family. She needed to know Pedro. Who was he because his behavior was inexcusable.
“This?” Olivia stopped when she came across a sealed box. It was half the size of her arm. Olivia scanned it carefully, and it was all dusty and old looking. Getting up from the floor, Olivia looked around the room for anything to open it with, probably a key.
“Maybe it can be here,” she opened some drawers attached to the nightstand, some were empty, and the middle drawer had some files in it. Olivia was irritated when she grabbed the handle of the last drawer and prepared to open it when the box slipped from the top and shattered on the ground. Startled, Olivia dropped to her knees to gather the items, and she was shocked.
“Who is this,” she picked up a photo of a girl more like her age, but the photo was old of some sort. Raising it, Olivia scanned the girl with auburn hair, she was beautiful with dark brown eyes with a hint of silver. Her gaze was somehow piercing.
She picked up another one, this one stunned her. More of the lady, but now with Pedro. Some were intimate, very intimate, that just looking at them Olivia felt a hole in her stomach.
Scattering the photos on the floor. Olivia felt her knees weakening, in every picture, there was Pedro and the woman in some intimate and disturbing way.
Olivia's hands were shaking as she tried to pack everything back into the box. At the end of the day, he did the same thing with every woman. Olivia's heart twisted, and her chest tightened, she couldn't even look at them as she started gathering the photos.
Afraid that she might get caught; however, her hands seemed to have lost their purpose or was it fear and disappointment? Just as she was about to get up, the bedroom door flew open, startling her. Glancing up, Olivia froze when Pedro walked in.
The box in her hands slipped out and shattered on the floor. The man had stopped half away, his gaze moved down the floor. Pedro didn't allow anyone in his room, not even her.
“What are you doing here?” He asked coldly, Olivia shook her head as she tried to get on her knees when suddenly another figure entered the room. Elegantly dressed in a wine red mesh long sleeve off-shoulder dress hugging her curves tightly, she walked in and stood beside Pedro and held his hand. Olivia's eyes fixed on the woman. Tall and beautiful, her eyes were familiar, too familiar that she swore she had seen her somewhere. Glancing down at the pile of photos, Olivia now understood where she saw the lady from.
“Answer him you little slut… what the fuck are you doing in his room?” The lady surprised her when she yelled, stepping forward. Olivia was shocked at her outburst as she glanced over at Pedro then to the lady, giving her a bitchy look. Who was she?
