Chapter 17: Chapter 17

CHAPTER NINE

GRETEL wrapped her arms around her naked body as she stood in the middle of the stream. It was refreshing.

The night sky was clear, and she smiled at the full moon that illuminated the place.

She turned to the direction of the tree when she felt another presence. She bit her lip as Alexander’s familiar hood moved along with the breeze. He was walking toward her.

“I thought you weren’t coming, “ she said as she sauntered toward him.

“What made you say so? You said you need me, so I came running to you.” Alexander stroked her cheek with his inhuman hand. “What do you need, Gretel?”

Gretel craned her neck as she closed her eyes for a moment. Alexander’s touch was igniting the heat in her navel.

“Let me use you for tonight, Alexander, “ she uttered as she looked at him maliciously.

Alexander gaped in shock.

“ALEXANDER!”

Gretel moaned and whimpered as she rode Alexander roughly.

He leaned on the tree as Gretel positioned herself on his lap. Her nails bit into his back as she lost herself every thrust.

Alexander’s shaft filled her, her vaginal walls delighting with the friction of their bodies.

“G-Gretel...” Alexander squeezed her butt as he rocked his hips against her.

She was running out of breath and sanity but she could not just stop.

“I-I’m coming!”

“Gretel, someone’s here!” he groaned.

“W-what—” Gretel cried as she climaxed, her body freezing at the intensity.

Alexander’s nails scratched her skin as he too came and poured hot seed inside her.

“Oh, you’re so amazing, “ she uttered with a smile. “What we’re you saying again?”

“Look.”

Gretel turned to the direction of the lamp and found Javier standing there, staring at her with cold eyes.

GRETEL woke up in the middle of the night, panting. She was met by the darkness of her room and the cold night breeze.

She wrapped her arms around her, shivering with embarrassment at that lascivious dream.

It was the second time she had Alexander and Javier in her dream. How could she do that to Alexander? He was kind and protective of her. And Javier, he deserved her loyalty. How could she cheat on him in her dream?

She was a different person in that scene. She was the aggressive one.

Gretel swallowed hard. She turned the lamp on her nightstand on and reached for the pitcher and poured herself water.

GRETEL was still thinking about the dream while she packed her clothes. She could only sigh in frustration. She felt like she had wronged both Alexander and Javier.

“Do you need help?”

Gretel glanced at the door and she saw her mother standing there.

She smiled.

“I’m almost done, Mother. Thank you.”

“I can’t believe you’re moving out today. I already miss your presence.” Glenda sat on her bed.

“Mother, I will just live in the house on the hill. I can always see you and Hansel whenever I want. You can always come to see me, too. It’s only a matter of time, and we are going to live together under one roof again.”

“Do you think Javier would agree?”

“Of course, Mother.” Gretel smiled confidently. Because wherever Javier would go after marrying her, he would take nothing with him.

Honestly, Gretel could not comprehend that.

GRETEL went to Dory’s boutique when she was done packing.

“Oh, hey, good morning, Mrs. del Mundo.”

Gretel’s face flushed at Dory’s greeting.

It only dawned to her that she won’t be a Hermosa anymore.

“I’m not an official del Mundo yet, “ she said, a little flustered.

“Come, you have to see the dress I made you.”

Her face brightened.

“Really?”

Dory pulled her into the corner of the shop where a mannequin covered with a silk cloth stood. She pulled it away, and a white lace dress met Gretel’s sight. It was body contouring and off-shoulder.

“Dory, it looks lovely!” she exclaimed.

“I know, right? I was working on this dress for a while but had to set it aside for more important clients. Now, I had a reason to finish it. This is just your size, I believe.”

“Can I try this on?” Gretel bit her lip in excitement.

“No, you can’t. You know what popular beliefs say.”

Gretel pouted.

“Not everyone believes in that.”

“You listen to me, Gretel.” Dory put the silk cloth back. “I’m going to take this to you by tomorrow morning.”

The wind chimes at the door tinkled, and Lady Arcie came in with her elegant parasol.

“Lady Arcie, good morning!” Dory greeted and rushed to her side.

“How’s the ball gown you’re working on?” Lady Arcie asked in a sweet voice.

“It’s almost done, Lady Arcie. I only need to put a few sequins more, and it’ll be on your doorstep this afternoon.”

“That is so lovely to hear, Dory.”

The three of them turned to the door as it opened, and Javier appeared looking so handsome and dignified in his white shirt and slacks. His gaze found Gretel in an instant.

“Javier!” Lady Arcie called and her eyes sparkled with glee.

“Lady Arcie, “ he regarded and sauntered toward Gretel. He did not see how Lady Arcie’s smile disappeared and was replaced by disappointment and confusion. “Hey.”

“H-hey, “ Gretel whispered.

“Are you done packing?”

She could only nod.

“Shall we go?”

“Of course.”

“Dory, thanks for your help, “ he told Dory, who was smiling from ear to ear.

“No problem, Mr. del Mundo.”

“Dory, see you tomorrow. Thanks again, “ Gretel said.

Dory winked and waved at them.
