The next morning ,

At Fernandez house hold ,

Luke was enjoying his morning tea in the garden until one guard came and said , '' Boss , I have something to report you about '' . Luke nods . '' I have gotten all the information about the girl who did that rude thing to you the other night '' he states . '' Go on '' Luke asserts . '' The name of the girl is Eris Williams , '' he says . Luke gets up . ''' What did you say Eris is it ? '' he asks . '' Yes , Eris , she's been living here since her childhood her father works in a company , now retired and Eris is the only earning member in her family , she's an reporter , age twenty one , she has been working as a reporter for quite a while '' he explains . '' The reason why she came to ask me for money ? '' he asks .

'' The thing is her Dad is hospitalized for his heart condition and for the operation she requires a huge amount of money and the studio which she was working under she quit her job there yesterday that's the reason she wanted a job from you ,'' he asserts . '' When is the time of the operation ? '' Luke asks . '' Today in the afternoon I guess , if she's able to arrange the money '' the guard replies . '' No need to say anything I understand '' Luke replies . '' Get the car ready along with as much cash as you can. We are leaving in the afternoon after the business meeting is over '' he says . '' Alright boss '' responds the other guards .

Luke's POV -

'' So , there you are my dear , I had been looking for you for over a year now finally I got a hold of you , I will make you regret about insulting me the other day and the thing that you did years ago , you need to pay for hurting me most of the times , i will show you who you are messing with , this is not the me whom you knew years ago , i have changed now , and i won't let you find out my true identity yet '' . '' I will make you obey me , you will be mine and i will make you regret your actions '' .

At Williams household ,

Eris was sitting at the study table and had fallen asleep there . In the morning she was awakened by a nightmare . 'She got up yelling '' nooo Dad '' . '' Where am I ? Wait, this is my room . Then was that just a plain dream ? a nightmare ? that won't come true right ? '' she whispered . '' Dad won't die as i saw in my dream right ? '' she mutters . '' I need to get going '' she got up .

'' BUt what will I do about the money ? Michael , yes he said that he would help me i should call him '' she called him . The phone has been ringing for over three times he's not picking up . '' Pick up the phone Michael '' she prayed .

He picked up after the fifth ring . '' You , finally picked up great '' she said, feeling relieved . '' Eris , i have something to say to you '' he says . '' You found a way out right ? '' she says . '' Umm no , '' he replies '' you know i have tried my best please believe me but no one wants to give such a large amount of money to someone who's unemployed , you can understand what i am trying to say right ? ' hey why aren't you responding ? say something Eris , hello ,can you hear me ? '' .

Eris hangs up ..'' So that wasn't just a nightmare , i really have no way out it seems . Dad ,forgive such a useless girl like me who can't help you in times of need . Mom , I am sorry , '' she fell down onto the floor . The flashbacks of her childhood come in her mind and she starts crying . '' Dad won't survive without the operation. What will I do ? I don't have a job yet now , what about mom ? How will I take care of her ? '' her mind went blank thinking about all of these things . '' I should end my life '' she mutters .

She got up , went towards the kitchen . Looked for some knives . She found the kitchen knife . '' This will work just fine '' she says . She takes it in her hands . When she was about to cut her hand one thought struck her head . '' What will my ill father think about what i have done after this ? did they grew up their daughter just because they wanted me to kill myself ? did i started working so i could kill myself ? '' the knife fell down from her hand making a thud sound . '' I can't do this '' she ran towards her room .

'' Nor can I tell mom about the things that have happened lately nor can I arrange the money. What should i do now ? '' she thought . '' Guess I will go ask the chief again apologizing to him ,but will my pride allow this ? After all that has been done, can I allow myself to bow down before him ? . '' she thought . The voice within her said , '' you have to in order to achieve something you need to sometimes control your anger '' .''' Should i ?'' she asked . '' Guess i will go to give my resignation letter in case he doesn't listen to me ''she thought .

After brushing and eating she got ready dressed in her office coat , she had put the reporter id in her pocket . and heads out .

It was around 11 am in the morning now , she was walking down the streets heading towards her office . At this time calls her mom . '' Where are you dear ? '' she calls . '' On the way to the office why ? '' she sks . '' Won't you come to the operation ? '' she asks . '' I will when is it ?'' she replies . '' It is around 1 pm will you be able to manage ? '''' her mom says . '' Two hours then , I will manage '' she replies . '' What about the money ? '' her mom asks . '' The chief said .... that he will ..... give me the money today . you don't have to worry '' she replies . '' Alright then i will tell the doctor to make arrangements for the operation '' says her mom '' thank you dear for doing all of this ''. '' No need to thank me mom this is nothing '' says she '' i am hanging up there's lots of traffic in this area '' .

'' Alright then come fast i will be waiting '' her mom hangs up . '' Was that alright to tell her a lie ? '' she thought . Pushing aside all the thoughts from her mind she heads towards the office .

It was around 11:30 am now , Everyone was looking at Eris strangely . '' Why are they looking at me like this because of the thing yesterday ? '' she thought . The girls seem to be whispering something between themselves . Ignoring them she heads towards the chief's office .'' Apologize to him not fight ' she reminded herself . '' Let's go now '' she said . '' May i come in ? '' she asks . ''Yes come in '' he replies . She opens the door . Chief was looking at the documents . '' I have something to say '' she says in a quivering voice . '' Yes , what do you want ? '' he asks without looking at her .

'' I have come to apologize about tomorrow '' she says lowering her head . Chief Marco looks at her '' oh it's you so what are you doing here ? came to give the resignation letter ? '' he asks ' . '' No it's something else , I have come to apologize to you '' she says . '' OH really ? and what will happen after that ? i will forgive you and tell you to come to work again ?'' he remarks sarcastically . '' Can't you forget about all the things that i had said yesterday ? '' she pleads . ''No, I can't forget about it '' he replies . '' Please i really need the money ,i will do anything overwork and all please give me some in advance '' she begs . '' Listen , you ... ''he was about to say something .

RIGHT AT THE MOMENT , a call comes in Marco's phone . '' Who's calling at this time ? '' he thought . '' You can come in when I tell you to '' he says . Eris nods and leaves his office . She was waiting outside his room . '' Hello , who is it ? '' he asks . '' This is me who your reporter went to interview yesterday , the billionaire man Luke Fernandez '' he replies . '' Oh I am sorry what business do you want with me ? '' he asks . '' I have some work with you , if you are able to do this then there's a hefty reward for you and your channel '' he says . '' What do i have to do ? '' Marco asks . '' Good , there's a girl that works under you named Eris. I want you to insult her and never let her join your office again. That's all , did she come today ? ''' Luke asks .

'' Yes , she's waiting outside my office telling me to hire her again '' Marco replies . ''I see , then get her out of the office and the cash amount will be sent in your office according to you , tell her you don't need her , doing this your company will get a promotion from our Fernandez group of industries '' Luke asserts '' i can leave it up to you right ? '' . '' YES , of course i can do this count on me i will insult her so much that she will leave the office '' Marco replies . '' Good i am hanging up now '' says Luke . '' Yes , sir '' Marco replies .

'' Eris comes in, '' Marco says . '' Yes sir '' she comes in . '' Hand me the resignation letter. I will keep it '' he demands . '' But won't i work here ? '' says she . '' No , i am not planning to hire you again, get out of here now '' he shouts . '' But sir please i really need some money '' she pleads . '' No , I can't give you money , nor do I plan on keeping you here, you can go now ''' he yells . '' But '' she pleads . '' No , get out or else i will kick you out '' says he . '' Or if you aren't satisfied with this you can become my you know what '' he smirks . '' I am leaving '' she leaves saying this . She dropped the letter in the office .

From her behind Michael was chasing her . '' Eris , '' he called . But she didn't stop and ran and ran until she couldn't run anymore . She felt so humiliated . She felt like throwing up ,but she couldn't throw up . She ran to one narby park . She sat on the swing and looked at her watch . It's around 12:30 pm now . Thirty minutes till the operation starts . '' I should head towards the hospital now '' she thought .'' I need to tell them the truth , but what about my dad ? '' that was the only thing on her mind . The blazing sun was making her feel dizzy; it was the month of May . '' So hot , I will collapse, '' she utters .

She gets up and starts walking at a steady pace . '' Maybe it's my low bp or is it the omelet and salad which was making me dizzy '' she thought . She somehow took a different route and was lost . '' Where am I ? '' she thought . ''This seems quite different from the usual route , I am lost '' . '' Now what to do now ? ''' . She looked at the time of her watch . '' Oh god it's 12:55 pm now , i need to hurry up , should i take a taxi ? but i don't have enough money . Guess i will have to run '' . she ran with all her might .

She was halfway but it's 1 pm now . ''' Will they start the operation ? '' thoughts she . She runs much more faster and faster . She reached the hospital , it was 1:30 pm now . She asked the nurse where her father was . '' He's in room 103 '' the woman at the reception replied .

'' Thanks '' she rushes out hearing this . She goes to the third floor . She looks around for the room asking where her father is . She finally arrives at the room . Her mom was standing there beside the room . She reaches towards her steadily .

'' Eris , you have come '' says her mom, noticing her . '' Why are you so late ?'' she asked . ''' I ... listen mom the money ''' she utters . '' The operation has started already ... i hope everything goes well ''' says her mom . '' But ... what about the money ?'' she asks . '' What are you saying you are the one who sent the amount to the hospital right ? did you forget ? ''her mom asks . '' Me ? '' she thought . '' Did the chief send this ? but why would he do this ? '' she thought .

'' I hope the operation is successful ... i want nothing more than for him to get well '' her mom prays . '' Did you eat something ? '' her mom asks . '' Yes , i did ''' she replies '' have you been taking care of yourself ? '' . '' Yes , i am only your dad his condition is worse i hope the surgery goes well '' her mom cries . '' Don't you worry it will go well '' Eris replies .

Right at the moment a call comes . Eris picks up '' hello , who is it ? '' . '' Are you wondering about who paid the money for the operation ? '' he asks . '' Yes ,are you the one who paid for the money ? ''' she asks . '' Yes i am '' the voice replies. '' But why would you do this ? who are you ? '' she asks . Her mom was looking at her .

She got away from her and was walking at the side . '' We can talk about my motive later , now you should come after your Dad' s operation is over. We need to talk '' he says . '' But .. '' she retorts . '' No but's .. you know you owe me so much money right ? ''' he hissed . '' I do '' she replies . '' Then you gotta do as I say , I will call you again after the operation and tell you an address you must come fast '' he says '' good day '' . '' Hey , wait which location ?. He hung up on me ? Who's that individual who's helping me like this ? is this an enemy or foe ? '' she murmurs .

She goes back to her mom . '' Who was that ?''her mom asked . '' Ah it was someone from my office '' she replies . '' You know .,, i am proud to have such a daughter like you '' her mom remarks . ' '' Mom '' Eris hugs her . '' You are just like my son , my little princess has grown up so much '' says her mom .

'' Wish i could have told her the truth, '' she thinks . After that they both sat down . It was around 2pm now . The doctor who was looking after her father comes back from the operation room . ''Doctor ,how's he doing now ? '' her mom asks . '' We can't say anything yet for now , one more hour it will take till we can assure you whether he's out of danger or not ''the doctor replies .

'' He will get well right ? '' asks Eris . ''Don't you worry , you have already paid all the bills. I can guarantee you that we will try our best '' the doctor replies. He goes in again after ten minutes . '' Eris , we need to talk '' her mom says with a serious look on her face .

'' What is it ? '' she asks . '' Answer me honestly , where did you get all the money from ? '' her mom asks . '' WHY ? i told you i had asked for advance payment from my chief '' Eris stutters . '' But how can he give you such a huge amount so easily ? you paid all the bills ? '' her mom asks . '' Well ... i had told him that i will work overtime and give him all the money from my salary '' she replies .

'' I hope that's the case '' her mom replies . '' Even if we need money I don't want to cause you any trouble for that , you are our little princess , if there's something on your mind you can say it '' says her mom . '' I know mom , i f there's something I will tell you obviously ''' says Eris . '' Let's eat something when I am hungry, '' says Eris .

'' Let's go to the cafeteria '' says her mom . '' Yeah '' Eris replies . They both went together spending what little time they have . It was around the evening now . The doctor came out . '' He's out of danger now '' says the doctors . '' Mom ''' Eris hugs onto her mom . '' I am really glad '' her mom says .

'' But ... we need to put him on observation for seventy two hours but i can guarantee you he's safe '' the doctor asserts . '' Thank you doctor '' says Eris . '' I guess you should all go home now especially you mrs.Williams your husband will regain consciousness anytime in twenty four hours i suggest you both should head back home and take some rest '' the doctor says .

'' Alright then '' Eris says . '' Take care '' the doctor leaves. '' Should i go ? or stay here ? '' says her mom . '' You should go, I will stay here '' says Eris . '' But ... '' her mom mutters . '' No buts ... you are tired, go home now , I will stay here and take care of everything '' says Eris .

'' You sure ? '' her mom asks . '' Yes I am now going ''Eris says . '' Alright then , i will come again at night take care '' says her mom . Eris nods . She watches her mom leaving the hospital grounds . She receives a call at this time . She picks up . '' I guess the operation is over '' asks the man who's calling her . '' Yes , it is '' she replies . '' You remember about our deal right ? '' he assumes . '' Yes ,i am coming '' she replies . '' Good come to this address which i sent you by mail , i will be waiting for you '' he hangs up . Then a letter comes .

'' Guess i should head out before mom comes '' she says and heads out . Evening has fallen now . The sunset looks beautiful to her but she can't seem to enjoy its beauty. here her mind was filled with the things that were happening with her , a man was helping her and he had asked her to come over , he's not planning something right ? '' she thought .

'' I decided that I won't bow down my head but he helped me in this crisis paying all of the hospital bills , he must be a god '' she thought . The address was quite a bit far away from the hospital . She was about to cross the road then a car came in front of her . The driver said '' get up master has called for you '' . She could understand that this is the man who has called for her .

'' He must be a pretty rich man to be able to give so much money and also this fancy looking car '' she thought . Without wasting time she got up even though she was suspicious enough . The car took her to some unknown place , it took two hours to reach that place .
