Elena.

I walked into the chamber, it was big and beautifully decorated, I noticed Scott had arranged for two beds, I wondered how he was able to pull that off but I was glad. We didn’t have to sleep on the same bed, I could live with being in the same room with him.

I laid on my bed, reminiscing about all that had happened tonight, I was angry and disappointed, I weeped continuously in pain, not because I was angry but because I realized I didn’t know Caleb as much as I thought, everything Scott had told me was true, Elijah didn’t deny any of it.

Yet, Elijah waited all this while before coming clean to me about how he really felt about me, this must be a joke, everything I’ve always wanted came to me in an uneventful manner, it was already too late for a perfect love tale.

I turned and I noticed Scott’s piercing eyes on me. He has been watching me, I hope not for long but I was ready to talk about anything, let alone speak to my husband. I turned over and starting forcing myself to sleep off.

It was morning already and I sincerely didn’t want to get out of bed, I wish I could lay in bed all day and blame it on after wedding stress, but I couldn’t , I lived in the Alphas mansion, I needed to go round and say my greetings with my husband.

But I continued to lay down , to enjoy my little time , I looked over to the other bed and I couldn’t find Scott.

Thank goodness he was out already because I wasn’t sure I would be able to face him after everything that has happened, I was still getting used to being a wife and adjusting to the whole shift in my entire life.

I shut my eyes tight and held the pillow so close to my heart, I was already missing my family, my home qnd especially my room.

Scott.

Rise and shine, Elena. It’s morning, you need to get up, I said, opening the curtains , and letting the morning sun radiate on her skin. I could tell she was already up few minutes ago, but yet pretended to rub the sleep off her eyes. Yet, I ignored her.

She looked astonishingly beautiful, Waow, I never imagined that she was such an angel.

I’m pretty sure, you by now despise half of this family, I have asked Hansel to ask the maids to prepare breakfast and bring it to the left wing, we will be having breakfast there .

That’s the bathroom over there, there’s your wardrobe and here’s your little room for your quiet time.

I could read the excitement on her face when I pointed the little room for her quiet time, she seemed very impress and I wanted to tell her I set it up all by myself.

I sat on my bed and picked up the news paper, “Alpha Scott Damien finally finds his mate Elena Asher” yeah, right… I chuckled.

She picked up her things and went into the bathroom, I waited for her , so we could go to the left wing together, she wouldn’t find it on her own .

We sat in silence, waiting for the breakfast to arrive, I had nothing to say to her, she looked nervous and that gave me a lot of worry , she was scared of me.

Few seconds later, Hansel arrived with a tray of freshly baked bread, there were other things on the the tray but the scent of the bread made my stomach growl.

Hansel laid down the tray on the table and I broke the silence. Do you love muffins ? She starred over my shoulder blankly like she’s been hypnotized.

Are you okay, Elena ? I directed my gaze towards the direction of her eyes.

Shit! It was Elijah and, he was walking towards us . What exactly did Elijah want this time ? He had done enough yesterday, I hoped by now, he would be satisfied.

As Elijah grew closer, I was getting prepared for another round of brothers battle, but he came up to me really sober.

I’m sorry Scott about yesterday, I didn’t mean to disrupt your wedding and I don’t know what came over me, he apologized.

This was funny, so I laughed. Elijah apologizing to me? What new tricks did Luna Sandra have up her sleeves ? Did she put you to this Elijah ? “ No, she didn’t. I was sure you weren’t going to accept my apology but I had to try “ he said.

No, I’m not accepting apologies today, come tomorrow. Ring…ring… I quickly picked up my cell to see who it was , your guess is as good as mine, it was Kylie.

My heart sank and sadness clothed me, I could t take the call , what was I going to say, I let it ring for a while before finally summoning the courage , I made a decision to take the call. I excused myself to the back.

Elijah

Elena, I apologize for everything hurtful I’ve done to you, I walked closer to her, I need you to forgive me .

I held her hands in mine, she looked at me breathing heavily, I should have told you about my feelings , I could have come out plainly to tell the world how I feel about you.

She knew, Elena , my mum knew that I’ll pick you a hundred times, if you were left unmarried, who better than my friend. She plotted all of this , I wish I could turn back the hands of time.

I want you Elena, you are mine. We were made for each other, I know you believe it. No one else can give you this much butterflies in your stomach.

She stood up looking uncomfortable, I could tell my words were getting to her head. She was still in love with me and it was obvious, so I pushed further.

Run away with me, Elena . Let’s go where their rules can’t get to us , we would love and care for each other without fear or regret, I rubbed my slightly pushed her hair away from her face. I placed my hand on her hip and pulled her closer to my body.

She was shaking , but I couldn’t tell if it was from fear or excitement, tell me you love me , Elena. I want to hear you say it. Tell me how much you really want to be with me and not that rascal.

I know you’d choose me over him a million times, you don’t have to be with him, you don’t love that cheap dumb.

I noticed the change in her countenance, she wanted to defend him, but I looked straight into her eyes and she melted, one in love is always a slave to love.

I gently placed a kiss on her, I had no idea Scott had just returned to the scene, it was really quick and like a lightening, she pushed me but it didn’t look as though she did cause she was still wrapped in my hands.

Scott looked at the both of us in disgust , he shook his head like he was disappointed. O how the mighty had fallen, I was happy to see him in his low state.

The moment Scott left, I pulled away from Elena and without saying a word , I left her standing there, I loved the puzzled look on her face.

Scott was going to show her who he really was, I couldn’t wait to hear them fighting, I would be her knight in shinning armour. I’d save her from her violent and hostile husband, I will claim her my bride.

Elena is a virgin, no man had touched her, I wouldn’t let Scott prey on her innocence, he has a girlfriend and I was sure he was only going to use her. He’d make her life a living hell.
