Third Person POV

Von sighed as he looked at the sky and watched the stars from his room, a few minutes passed and he decided to get up from his bed and head downstairs.

When he got down, he stopped for a while from where he was standing while looking at Lit who was wiping the table.

"Lit, what are you doing here? It's late." Von said causing Lit to look at him and smile.

"I couldn't sleep so I thought of going here and giving myself something to do." Lit answered that's why Von came to her and took the wipe she was holding.

"You need to rest, it's not good to tire yourself out at this hour." Von said that's why Lit sighed then smiled gently at him.

"I can't stop thinking about what happened to our daughter the last time I was with her, Von. To this day I blame myself because I didn't even do anything to save her." Lit's story caused Von to hold her hand and smile.

"Lit, it's not your fault. It's not your fault what happened before." Von said causing Lit's tears to form, Von watched her for a few minutes before pulling her close to him and hugging her.

"I'm sure Yezrah is in a happy place now, Lit." Von whispered while hugging Lit.

A few moments of silence enveloped the two of them before Von jerked away from his embrace and stared at Lit.

"We can start over, the two of us, it doesn't mean we will forget our daughter." Von said causing Lit to smile at him, a sad smile before moving on to what Von said.

"As I promised you, we'll go together... won't we?" Von asked so Lit grabbed Von's hand and then looked into Von's eyes.

"Von..."

"Von, what are you doing there?" He and Lit looked up together and saw Van looking at them.

"Take a rest." Van said that's why Von looked at Lit then looked at Van again.

"Lit and I were just talking." Von said then looked back at Lit who was staring at him.

"If we continue our conversation in my room." Von said to Lit who in turn nodded to him in response.

Von helped Lit up the stairs while Van just watched Von. When Von and Lit passed Van, Van spoke again.

"Go to sleep... Von." Van's words made Von smile and turn to Van who was now looking at him.

"Yes, Lit and I are going to sleep." Von said then let Lit enter his room.

The next day Von woke up early next to Lit who was fast asleep by his side, Von watched her first then he got up from his bed and went to the kitchen to make Lit breakfast.

"Good morning, Von." Creed greeted Rizden next to him, Von smiled at the two and continued to enter their kitchen.

"What will you do?" Creed asked following him into their kitchen.

"I will cook breakfast for Lit." Von answered then looked at his brother.

"Do you also want me to cook for you?" Von asked him, Creed laughed then scratched his forehead.

"No need, Lit might get jealous." Creed said so Von laughed and started preparing his cooking needs.

The whole time that Von was cooking, Creed was watching him, who was talking to him and messing with him.

"Don't mess up Creed, you look like a fool." Von said annoyed so Creed laughed.

"Why? I'm just giving you an idea." Creed said laughing, Von just gave him a bad look before he put the food that was served to Lit on the table.

"Wow, that's delicious Von." It was Rizden who was sitting in front of the table. Von smiled at her then looked at the food he made.

"That's Lit's favorite" Von said then looked at Rizden again who was smiling at him.

"I'll call Lit first, please keep an eye on her food because your husband might steal it." Von said so Rizden laughed and nodded.

A few minutes passed and Von came down with Lit again, and now they were heading to the table where Von had placed Lit's food.

"Just close your eyes." Von said as he helped Lit sit on the chair. Von's brothers were looking at him and watching his actions.

"There, open your eyes." Von said smiling at the same time Lit's eyes opened, a smile drew on Lit's lips then she looked at Von.

"You really cooked me my favorite breakfast." Lit said with a smile then hugged Von.

"Thanks a lot!" Lit said with a smile then released from Von's hug.

Von smiled as he watched Lit eat what he made, he was very happy while looking at Lit happily eating next to him.

This is the life Von wants, the quiet and peaceful life with Lit.

"Von," Leana called and sat next to her, Von looked at her then smiled.

"What is that? Do you also want me to cook you your breakfast?" Von teased so Leana laughed a little then looked at Leona who was watching them. Even Van and Fin sitting in front of them.

"What are you going to eat?" Leana asked her then looked back at Leona who swallowed while looking at Von.

"I already have food, Lit and I will share what I made, because she won't be able to finish what I made because she only ate a little." Von said then looked again at Lit who was smiling at him and eating.

"Is that so? Don't you want what we prepared?" Leana asked him so Von looked at him again and noticed the seriousness on his face.

"Why is your face so serious Leana? It doesn't suit you." Von said laughing then looked at Creed and Fin who were looking at him seriously and sad.

"Why are your faces so serious?" Von asked looking at them all.

"It's like you died in that situation, get ready, Lit is here, aren't you ashamed of him?" Von asked then looked at Lit who was just eating.

"Von." Van called so Von looked at his twin.

"Van, don't do that thing yet, he's not ready yet." Creed said making Von look at Creed who was now standing and looking at Van.

"Which?" Von asked but Creed ignored him.

"I think it's the right thing for Van to do, once Von finds out and wakes up to the truth." Fin said that he looked serious while looking at Von.

Von frowned as he looked at Fin.

"What are you talking about?" Von asked as he looked at his siblings in confusion.

"Fin, Van, don't lead Leana first." Leona's groin.

"Leona, we have to tell him when he's conscious."

"What are you going to say Van?" Von asked the twin in annoyance.

"Aren't you ashamed? Here's Lit next to me and you've been making a mess this morning." Von said annoyed.

"Von Lit is gone, Okay?" Van said annoyed so Von frowned as he looked at his twin.

"What are you saying? Are you going to be dumb?!" Von shouted angrily at his twin and was about to attack when Leana stopped him.

"Stop, please." Leana held back the tears that were forming now.

"Stop." She added that's why Von looked at her.

"It's just Van is saying something inappropriate." Von said and looked at Van who was also in tears.

"Are you blind? What do you call this? Can't you see Lit? There she is looking at me and scared." Von said annoyed as he looked at Lit who was also looking at him.

"Von, it's okay... it's okay please... Van said it right." Leana said that's why Von looked at her and removed his hands that were holding her.

"You too, Leana?" Von asked in disbelief as he looked at Leana who was now crying.

"Von they are right... Lit is gone, isn't she?" Leona groaned so Von looked at Leona and laughed.

"Lit is here Leona-" Von suddenly stopped when he saw that Lit was no longer in her seat.

"Where's Lit?" Von asked while looking at where Lit was sitting earlier.

"Lit was just here earlier." He said then looked under the table but Lit was not there, and the food he had prepared for Lit was just there and its arrangement was not touched.

"Lit only eats here." Von's tears formed as he tried to find Lit. "You made a mistake because Lit slept with me last night." Von added while causing Leona and Leana to hug him.

Van's memory came back to how he saw his twin last night talking to someone he couldn't see.

"Isn't it Creed? Lit was just here earlier?!" Von nervously asked Creed who didn't answer because he remembered how he watched Von prepare food for Lit earlier and how he was supporting something that he couldn't see.

"Von, that's enough... Lit is dead, it's been three months." Leona whispered causing Von to stop and remember what happened the night he saw Lit die in front of him.

3 MONTHS AGO...

"LIT!" Von screamed when she saw how Lit caught the stab that should have been hers, Aphrodite violently grabbed the knife she was holding and buried it in Lit's chest, after which she stabbed Lit again in the neck. causing Lit's body to weaken completely.

"Lit!" Von quickly caught Lit's body before it fell to the land, followed by Van's attack on Aphrodite who was revived by Franco before he died.

Von regained his senses after Van fought him so that he would stop disappearing.

Now that he had returned to his senses, his heart sank again as he watched Lit's blood spill over his hands.

"Lit, wake up! Lit!" He shouted as Lit slowly closed his eyes and slowly smiled.

"D-Darling... I.. Love you.." Lit whispered before she completely lost her breath.

"That's enough Von, you're only making yourself suffer... even Lit." Van said that now he was next to her.

"Lit doesn't want to see you like that, even Yezrah, do you want them both to be angry with you?" Van asked, Von didn't move as he was just stunned. A few minutes of silence enveloped them all before Van took a deep breath and took his twin's hand.

"Come on, let's go up to your room, you need to rest." Van whispered and helped his twin to climb from his room.

TWO YEARS LATER

"Von, come down! Dad has been looking for you for a while!" Van shouted outside of Von's room, the door of Von's room immediately opened and he walked out of his room.

"It's cold again this morning, you smile Von." Fin said but Von ignored him and continued walking down the stairs.

"Happy Birthday Von," Van smiled at his twin but he didn't respond.

"What's that, you're frowning." Leona said annoyed then looked at the photo she took. He even blinked when he saw how ugly the picture he got of the twins was.

"Von, are you ready?" Van asked which is why Von looked at him and didn't move.

It was difficult for their siblings, especially Van, to talk to Von because he became cold-hearted and rarely spoke.

Today will be Van's birthday and at the same time Von will be introduced to his future wife.

Von took a deep breath before walking towards the entertainment room where their guests and even his fiancee were already there.

"It's Von." Van chased him then blocked his twin's path.

"Notice me." Van said.

"Happy birthday." Von coldly greeted the twins then turned the direction and walked towards his father who was talking to his friend.

"Here he is." His father said when he saw him.

Von feels that he is only living to do what his father wants for him, he feels that his life is no longer important since the death of his grandmother, he feels that he is alone.

"Von, this is my friend, Alfredo." Language of Mr. Vaughn at his son, Von looked up at the man his dad introduced him to and stopped short when he saw his face.

"It's nice to see you, Von." Alfredo said with a smile and extended his hand in front of Von which Von immediately accepted.

"Mr. Tellulah..." Von greeted making Alfredo smile when he heard Von's last name.

"How did you know my name?" Von asked, tears welling up as he remembered how Lit had shown him a picture of his father when they were in Vampire high.

"Lit told me about you." Von's words caused Alfredo to smile gently.

"So you know my eldest daughter huh." Alfredo said and smiled at Von.

"I will introduce you to her twin." Von was stunned by what Alfredo said.

"Seraphine." He called the son who was talking to his mother, Von's heart seemed to beat fast while looking at Seraphine who was called by Alfredo.

As it approached their behavior, Von just stared at its face.

He looks exactly like Lit, from the eyes, nose and mouth he takes shots of Lit.

Von swallowed when Seraphine stopped in front of him and looked at him.

"Von, This is Lit's twin sister, Seraphine, your soon to be wife." Alfredo spoke but Von ignored it because he was only focused on the face of the person in front of him.

"Lit..." Von whispered.

"Hello, I'm Seraphine, it's nice to meet you." He said and extended his hand in front of Von then smiled causing Von to shed tears while looking at Seraphine.

"I am Von... Von Vaughn, It's nice... to see you again, Lit."
