Von POV

Lit was clinging to me tightly and I knew at this time she was scared. The last time Franco and I talked was on Van and I's birthday, and the last time I saw him was when I attended his and Lit's wedding.

A marriage that Lit didn't like.

My eyes turned to Aphrodite who had a different aura, from her brown hair that used to be black, and her lips used to be pink are now black.

Now, from what I see. It's clear to me that Franco controls Aphrodite, I know that Aphrodite can't do anything to harm my daughter, I saw that when she was taking care of Yezrah.

"I was not informed that our reunion will take place here," Franco said with a smile and lowered his gun that was pointed at us. Now it was his people who pointed the gun at us.

Franco looked up at Lit. She held me even tighter and I could feel her nervousness and fear.

"Lit, I wasn't informed that Von was with you. You said to me that you were going to visit your parents, right?" asked Franco to Lit.

"Stop, Franco," Lit said so Franco laughed and scratched his forehead.

"What are you talking about Lit? I'm not doing anything to you." He said well. "Then one more thing, why would I stop you, aren't you already my wife?" He added.

"Stop hallucinating that Lit loves you." My groin made Franco look at me.

"Von, what are you saying? Of course, she loves me, that's why we got married. Isn't that Lit?" Franco asked Lit.

"You just forced me," Lit answered so Franco laughed even more and then clapped.

"Great, women are really weird." He said then crossed his arms and turned his head a little.

"You don't even know how to show gratitude Lit, you don't even know how to repay the good things I did," Franco said that made me laugh. He's crazy.

"What good did you do for her, Franco?" I asked. "To force her to have sex? To force her to give you everything you want? To scare her? To use our child to get what you want? Is that good, Franco? If so it seems like I enjoy and I would like to kill you." I said.

He laughed as if what I said was funny.

"Hey Von, you don't know anything yet," he said then looked at Lit. "Didn't you tell him how I took care of you before? And how I saved your daughter from the brink of death?" asked Franco so I looked at Lit.

"Yezrah was saved?" I asked.

I saw Lit's sad face. I looked back at Franco.

"Your daughter Von got seriously ill, a disease that no doctor could cure. Yezrah was one year old when she was hit by that disease. Lit was restless then and did not know where to get medicine, and neither did she know where you were during those times. So she ran to me." Franco's story. "I found out that Yezrah's disease was inherited from your ancestor Von, the Blood Sucker. The blood is slowly killing Yezrah's body." He added so I was silent.

Our grandmother on my father's side had the same disease, and later she died due to dehydration and depletion of blood and flesh in her body. Her blood killed her.

"So to save your daughter, I gave Yezrah my blood." He said that's why I looked at him. I clenched my fist. "In exchange for my help, Lit will marry me and leave Yezrah in the white house." He says.

"Where were you, Von, when Lit needed you?" he asked, causing me to feel guilty again for leaving Lit during those times.

"Where were you when your daughter got sick? Didn't you just enjoy yourself?" he laughed and looked at Lit.

"Wasn't I the one who helped you and went with you when you were alone?" he said to Lit. Suddenly his mood became serious.

"THEN NOW YOU'RE GOING BACK TO THIS MAN AFTER HE LEFT YOU WHEN YOU WERE ALONE?!" he shouted causing Lit to hug me because of fear.

Franco took a deep breath and smiled at me again.

"Von Floyd Vaughn, as your friend. If you all want to get out of this place with life and if you want to save your brothers and sisters, you will do what I say." He says.

"Don't Von!" I looked at the speaker, Fin. One of Franco's men is holding him, so is Cleopatra, and Yezrah is being held at gunpoint by Franco's men.

"Fuck! Put down your gun!" I shouted while looking at the man holding the gun and pointing at Yezrah who was crying.

"Uncle Daddy, Mommy..." Yezrah said crying.

"Yezrah.." Lit whispered. I looked at Franco.

"Don't make my daughter feel sorry for the trouble between the two of us," I said emphatically. Franco raised both his hands in the air as if he was surrendering to me.

"Okay, but you have to drink it first." He said then took the small bottle from his pocket and then showed it to all of us. He smiled at me.

"In exchange for their freedom and the medicine for your brothers, you have to drink it and give me Lit." He said that's why I hugged Lit even tighter.

"Are you stupid?!" I screamed.

"YES IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME!" he shouted back then laughed.

"You have 30 seconds to choose, Von, when the 30 seconds run out and you haven't chosen anything yet.." he stopped then put on his gun and pointed it at Yezrah, my eyes widened.

"This gun bullet will say hello to your daughter." He said as if he were crazy, then he fired the gun on the top, causing Yezrah to cry even more.

"Don't.. don't drink that Von please, we don't know what liquid is inside of that bottle," Lit said to me, I looked at her and then smiled at her.

"We're out Von." I heard the voice of a friend of mine from our organization in the earphone attached to me. "We're going in." A thorn was pulled out of my throat.

"Help is coming Lit, you and Yezrah run away immediately when they come," I spoke to Lit's mind.

She shook her head.

"I have to do this for my brothers and our child," I said then looked at Franco.

"Where is the medicine for my brothers?" I asked. Franco showed a small bottle.

I slowly let go of Lit and kissed her forehead.

"Keep Yezrah if necessary."

"Don't!" She was holding me back while crying, and someone from Franco's people held Lit.

"We've seen you." I heard my friend say.

"I will do what you want, but before that give Fin the medicine for our brothers," I said and took from him the bottle he was holding that contained what he wanted me to drink, he grinned then approached Fin and gave him the medicine, then he approached Yezrah and pointed a gun at her head.

"Now Von, drink what you're holding." He said so I looked at my hand and swallowed.

I opened its lid and then looked at Franco again.

"Drink it!"

"Von please don't.."

I immediately drank what I was holding and then swallowed it, at the same time as I swallowed that liquid, my friends from the organization entered with some of their people, there was chaos around but I could not move my foot or body.

"Von!" I heard Lit shouting while holding Yezrah, and my vision gradually blurred.

"Von.." I closed my eyes when I heard Aphrodite's voice.

"Von!" I opened my eyes when I heard Lit's voice, I immediately saw Aphrodite standing in front of me and smiling at me.

My whole system slowly weakened at the same time as my body slowly fell to the ground. I even saw the escape of Lit and Yezrah. How Yezrah and Lit looked in my direction before I saw Aphrodite's face again smiling at me.

"From now on, the two of us will be together. For life." It was the last voice I heard before I passed out.
