Aphrodite POV

I opened my eyes and immediately saw a white ceiling, followed by Leona's face looking at me.

"You're awake, thank God." She said coldly, I slowly sat up and looked around.

"You've been unconscious for a few days." She said that's why I looked at her. "Are you okay?" she asked so I nodded. She stared at me as if examining my soul.

"Why?" I asked. "Is something wrong?" I added. She shook her head and then sat on the sofa.

"Lit took Yezrah, she impersonated Rizden to enter the house." I looked at her because of what she said.

"What?" I asked.

"Cleopatra saw Lit and Yezrah at the mall yesterday." Her story.

"Does Von know this?" I asked. She nodded in response.

"Where's Von?" I asked.

"In his room," she answered. Leona looked at me. "Confess to me, are you okay?" she asked.

"Of course." My answer.

"Then why do I smell poison on your body? Same as Von smelled poison on Van's body." Leona said so I stopped. I looked out the window and remembered what Franco told me the night we met in Bermuda.

I suddenly swallowed and stopped my tears.

"How about Yezrah, have you seen her?" I asked.

"Yes, Lit took her I already said right? she disguised as Rizden."

"Von is having a lot of problems right now, you shouldn't have added." She suddenly said so I looked at her.

"Huh?"

"I don't know if you are hiding something from us, Aphrodite, I know that my smelling abilities are not wrong." She says.

"Leona, I'm really fine." Tears suddenly came to my eyes when I said those words. She took a deep breath and came to me and sat across from me.

"You can tell me what's going on with you Aphrodite, you're one of our close friends." She said, my vision deviated as she looked me in the eyes.

"I'm sorry," I said and slowly took out the potion Franco gave me that I was supposed to make Von drink.

Leona took the small bottle I was holding and stared at it. She frowned then opened the bottle and smelled its contents, she immediately looked at me.

"This is a love potion, where did you get it?" she asked. I cried while looking at her. Next, I took out a bottle containing the poison that Franco ordered me to give to Yezrah.

She took it again and smelled it.

"It's poison, Aphrodite what's going on?" she asked.

"Fra--"

"Leona?" We both looked at the door when Von entered. He looked at me and frowned.

"Aphrodite, you're awake. Why are you crying?" he asked, my heart beating faster when he asked me. Leona looked at me and then took a deep breath.

"What's up Von?" Leona asked Von and I noticed that he hid the two bottles he was holding.

"Did you see Yezrah? She's not in her room." Von said.

"Along with Fin and Clementine, they are the ones who will take care of Yezrah first," Leona answered. Von nodded then looked at me.

"There's food on the chin, eat now." After saying that, he closed the door of the room where Leona and I were.

Leona looked at me again then took a deep breath.

"I don't know what's wrong, but you can tell me what's going on." She says. I swallowed.

"Fra--"

"Leona?"

"Damn it!. What?!" Leona asked annoyed and we both looked at the door.

"Your high blood again, can go with Rizden to the grocery store, she doesn't want to take me with her, she's sulking at me, and I'm worried that something bad might happen to her," Creed said. Leona took a deep breath and stood up from her seat.

"Where's Leana? I'm the one you thought of taking with Rizden?" Leona asked irritably before closing the door.

I sighed and looked out the window. I remembered again what Franco had said, I would slowly die if I didn't do what he wanted. Now that Leona has the potion, I know what I will end up with within the next few weeks.

I suddenly remembered what Leona told me earlier, Lit took Yezrah, she didn't even say anything to Von. I immediately stood up from where I was sitting and straightened myself up before leaving the room and going downstairs, I saw Von sitting in the living room watching television.

I immediately walked out of their house, I didn't call Von to bother anymore, I immediately went out and went to the gate. I waited for a few minutes before a taxi passed in front of Von's house, I immediately stopped it and got in, I showed the driver the direction to Cleopatra's house, and it took a few minutes before I got to Cleopatra's house.

I deeply sigh before ringing the doorbell. I waited for two minutes but no one came out so I rang the doorbell again and just in time Cleopatra's older brother, Freddrick, came out.

"What?" he asked. I took a deep breath and looked out the window of Cleopatra's room.

"Where is Cleopatra?" I asked.

"Did that Vaughn send you to talk to my sister? She's not here." She said grumpily.

"He didn't send me, I just wanted to talk to her," I said.

"I already said she is not here, she left and I don't know where it went." He said irritably and I just nodded.

"Thank you," I said then turned away from him.

I took a deep breath and looked ahead, when I needed to talk to Cleopatra she wasn't there.

"Aphrodite..."

I shook my head when I heard a voice from my ear. A scary man's voice.

"Aphrodite... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH"

My chest heaved when I heard it again, I knew who that voice was coming from, I'm sure he won't stop me, Leona still has the potion she gave me.
